Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Beaverhead County

We ski at the chief Joseph cross country ski area every year, and often stay in the town of wisdom, which is the closest town to the ski area. But before we always stayed at a motel and the elk Lords wonderful cabin is a vast improvement over anywhere we’ve ever stayed before. We will absolutely stay there again.

Benjamin's place was perfect for our growing family. It was a good location for walking, in the country on backroads, or the couple blocks to downtown. It was nice to have the extra space with plenty of room inside to move around. The extra large sofa and bedrooms were comfortable. The kitchen full of amenities allowed us to have meals in and even bake a birthday cake - which we enjoyed after dinner while sitting at the large, beautiful dining room table. We'd definitely stay here again for a family gathering.

Great place to stay, nice sized bedrooms with comfortable beds, and overall very clean. Check-in was painless, and the stay was great. Would recommend to anyone staying in Salmon, ID.

Our stay at this beautiful home in Salmon, Idaho was truly special. The house belonged to Joy, who has since passed, and her children have lovingly preserved her spirit by turning it into an Airbnb. You can genuinely feel the warmth, energy, and love she poured into the space, it’s everywhere. The layout was ideal for our family. The king suite was spacious and serene, my relatives who stayed there loved it. We used one of the additional bedrooms with a queen bed, which was peaceful, quiet, and very comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped and highly functional, making it easy to gather and share meals together. We came to Salmon to bring my mother-in-law home for her final rest and memorial service. Being in this comforting and soulful home during such an emotional time meant so much to us. It provided the space and serenity we needed. Thank you to Joy’s family for sharing her home with others. It is a true reflection of her legacy.

Nice place to stay when in the Ruby Valley. Location is walkable to town. 2nd time at this house and would book it again.

Absolutely beautiful home! Exceeded all of our expectations!

We loved this property! Just enough off the beaten path, yet close enough to anything you’d want in Ennis, short drive to Virginia City, Quake Lake, West Yellowstone. The lake view was beyond beautiful; loved having coffee and watching the geese. We also loved the evening visit from a family of mule deer. We are looking for reasons to return and would absolutely stay here again.

One of the best Airbnb stays I’ve stayed at. The house was easy to find and had so many thoughtful touches throughout the home. The back yard was a great place to unwind after a long day of hiking.

Interesting historic location, beautiful and quirky! No forced air heating helped a lot with visiting a dryer climate. Great water pressure and quality.

Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about this place. We went for a weekend to get out of town and it was amazing. Sitting on the porch, listening to the river while drinking coffee was so wonderful. She had the sweetest dog who would come visit every morning and it definitely made the trip better. Also, the toilet seat was heated so that wins. The only downfall was no smaller knives for steak and no bbq tools. At least that we could find. But, if you want a quiet place to reset this is it. Go here, you won’t regret it.

Kami was an amazing host. The spot was exactly as described and extremely cozy and private. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay after long travels. Nice big TV comfortable living room emazing porch to watch the sunrise and it’s extremely close to not only the small town of Twin Bridges but only a 20 minute drive to the town of Dillon! We can't say enough about how wonderful our experience was in Heron House! The place is darling: beautiful views all around from this second-floor space, lovely decor (eclectic, cozy, warm and elegant all at once) and spotless. So many lovely touches, from the sweet imported throw pillows to my favorite body wash and Penzey's spices in the carefully curated spice drawer. We felt right at home the second we opened the door, and weren't ready to leave when we had to! Keri was quick and thorough with all her responses to our questions. There's a lovely garden on the property, and we saw deer in the yard, a blue heron on the house across the street. We absolutely plan to come back. Thanks for taking such care of us, Keri!

Cathy was a fantastic host - she went out of her way to deal with some technical booking issues and make things work for me. She is really friendly and welcoming, even brought me cookies and lemonade! A great place to stay, I’ll be back. The property is a little noisy with lots of people coming and going, but it’s nice to be on the edge of town and have deer in the yard. It’s small but has everything you need.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location was very convenient for our needs, the area felt safe with an amazing view, and we felt at home. We collectively agreed that the home was not only beautifully decorated, but it was extremely functional for guests. The only thing I’d mention for future guests is that the entire living space and all rooms are located upstairs. I was under the impression it was split, but that was not the case. We did have a little hiccup after we checked in, but our host got it taken care of as soon as possible. The communication was quick and flawless! We’re looking forward to staying again during our next visit.
