"Five days in paradise in a 7 star hidden gem situated halfway between Whitehall and Butte. This secluded Mt Top retreat is located in a pine forest and surrounded by large granite boulders with spectacular views looking east towards Whitehall. The owners have literally thought of absolutely everything, with a marvellous kitchen, spacious comfortable living area and balcony. There is abundant useful tourist information, library and amenities for guests. Truly a home away from home and we wish we could stay another 5 days. Tame deer wandering around the property was an enjoyable highlight. Excellent communications with the owners who responded immediately to any requests. We have stayed in dozens of vacation rentals and this one ranks in the top three. Very highly recommended and would love to stay again in the future. Thanks and regards Douglas and Rowena

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your place. It worked out perfectly! We are vacation rental owners ourselves. You thought of everything one might need. Best of all we were able to bring our two hunting dogs that were ever so grateful to rest after hunting everyday the week prior. We hope to be back again soon!

We had a fantastic stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and in a great location — perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. We even saw some local wildlife during our visit, which made the experience even more memorable. The home was well-stocked with thoughtful amenities like a hair dryer, general spices, and other little extras that made a big difference. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-equipped getaway!

This is a beautiful spot and was very comfortable for our family of nine adults and two children. We enjoyed the fire table and the fire pit. The kitchen was large enough to have 3 cooks working at the same time. there were tons of kitchen implements to use and a fantastic barbecue. We highly recommend this property.

This cozy cabin is a GEM! It was the perfect little weekend getaway for us from Bozeman! It was incredibly clean, beautifully maintained, well-decorated, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The town of Ennis is just a few minutes down the road if you want to get a bite or stroll cute downtown shops. My husband, me and our one-year-old would highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to escape and recharge. We loved the hot tub and also the wood stove too. It honestly couldn't have been a more warm and inviting stay! We will be coming back to this special place!

I would highly recommend a stay here in Island Park. We stayed for Thanksgiving and the kitchen was spacious, top appliances, double fridge and plenty of kitchen items to whip up a full turkey feast. The house is well laid out for having friends and family. There are 4 bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms and direct access to the back porch which leads to either the hot tub or running creek in the backyard. The bunk room is amazing as well with three queen size beds and the upper bunk beds. The bathroom is unique with two showers which was cool! It’s also not typical to have almost all the streaming services on the TV already signed in and ready to use which was appreciated as the house is very remote. Highly recommend would definitely return for a second stay.

Everyone in our group enjoyed our stay the River Retreat cabin. Nicely decorated. Great location with lots of space. It had everything we needed. Big fenced yard that our dog appreciated. The hot tub was great after a long day at the Montana Folk Festival in Butte.

Beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing to be here! Watched an awesome summer storm go by. Enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Slept great and the bed was super comfortable. Kitchen is very well stocked. Made most meals there and even had containers for leftovers. Hosts were wonderfully responsive and provided great recommendations. So many nice touches for comfort like extra blankets, smart TVs with Netflix, etc., and table games. Felt like home. We didn’t want to leave! To note: you may wish to bring ear plugs. You can hear the in-floor heat at night from the master bedroom and whoever sleeps next to the garage door will hear it moving a bit if there’s wind. Not a big deal but ear plugs helped. Also, it’s near W. Yellowstone but 4.5 hours from the Lamar Valley. I didn’t realize how big Yellowstone is so something to be aware of in your planning. Loved it and would absolutely stay again!

Great place to stay! Very quiet, peaceful, & secluded. Lots of road construction going on which made it a muddy drive. Actually, there are several places in the ID & WY area that are under road construction. Other than that it’s a beautiful place. We saw several animals coming in & out which made our stay even more exciting. We enjoyed our stay & can’t wait to come back!
