Accommodations in Bayou La Batre

We loved this place. It had great space for multiple families for our beach trip together. Common areas are big enough to allow for hanging out. Multiple bathrooms so getting ready was never an issue. We LOVED the screened-in patio and the downstairs hang-out area. The only downside was the distance to the beach. It is walkable, however, it is too far with little kids/infants and all the beach stuff. And no view of the water from the house. But overall a great place, and we would stay again! Clean. Spacious.

Great rental on the canal. Walkable to the beach. We enjoyed using their bikes for rides into town and the kayaks for trips around the canal. Rental was well laid out and well furnished.

We stayed here while working in Pascagoula Chevron. Drive to work was easy from here bjt after work drives to Mobile for restaurants or the gym were just as easy. Lots of fun. Great space. Comfortable furniture. Nice patio. All around 10/10 stay.

This was our first time visiting Gulf Shores and we loved it. The Hive was the perfect place for our first stay. It was spacious and had all the amenities needed, including a fully equipped kitchen with all that you could possibly need. The house was clean and well maintained. We also loved how conveniently located it was to the beach. We will definitely stay here again for our future trips.

We really enjoyed our stay. My daughter was playing in a VB tournament at Gulf Shores High School and the location of this apartment was perfect. It’s about a block from the school. There’s plenty of restaurants close by so you don’t have to get into beach traffic unless you just want to. We would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was very helpful and friendly, and the home was exactly as described. Everything was very clean, and the beds were super comfortable. We also enjoyed the pool, and the location was perfect — just a short walk to the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

It was just as described. Perfect for a quick weekend get away. The back porch was perfect to sit and listen to the rain. The kitchen was well stocked and super clean. The whole place. Jennifer was very responsive and made check in and out very easy. We will stay here again.

This house was perfect! My parents, who are in their early 70’s, can’t do a lot of stairs anymore. It wasn’t easy finding a one floor home near the beach that matched our needs and wasn’t a condo with a thousand steps. This house exceeded our expectations. The layout was perfect. It’s a quiet neighborhood. The screened in patio was so nice to chill on at night. The house had everything you’d need from kitchen appliances to beach supplies. Upon arrival the house was super clean. Damien was very responsive and answered all of our questions quickly. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. It’s around an 11 minute drive to the public beach access. Might be longer in the summer. However, I loved being out of the “beach road madness”, but close enough to get there. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!
