This is an amazing house. Lots of room for our whole family. Perfect weekend in Boone!

The house was exactly as described in the listing. It was perfect for my family of four. We enjoyed the air hockey table and hot tub downstairs. The home was clean and quiet. The location was close to Blowing Rock, Boone, and the parkway. We were able to cook several meals with the kitchen utensils and appliances available. And the gas grill also came in handy. Gail prepared us for arrival and was very friendly and responded quickly to my questions. I highly recommend this home and will hopefully be back in the future!

We had an awesome stay! The house was spotless, cozy, and felt super private—perfect for relaxing. The hot tub was a huge highlight, and the location couldn’t have been better—just a short drive to everything we wanted to do. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

My husband and I stayed for a month at the house and absolutely loved it. It was peaceful and beautiful with the music of a rushing streamf filling the house everyday when we opened up the French doors. It was refreshing to see that the house actually matched all of the photos and the amenities that were listed. It was great to have a grocery store and a restaurant within 15 minutes of the house. we loved it so much. we're going to come back again next year.

Our stay at Anne's house was simply amazing. She is the perfect host, always responsive, helpful, accommodating whenever possible, willing to answer questions, and the home itself was absolutely perfect! Every single person in our group returned raving about the house and how perfect it was for our weekend of skiing.

Lani’s place was great for our small family group that came down to Boone for the weekend! Plenty of space to spread out and do your own thing if you wanted. Loved the secluded location. Overall great stay!

This is a perfect location for visiting a kid who goes to App State in Boone. It's quick and easy to get anywhere in town, yet you feel like you're in a secluded mountain cabin. The space is charming and cozy with a great porch for reading and socializing. The fenced-in lower yard was perfect for our dogs, which made it easy to bring them along. The pet policy was clear and reasonable, and Diane was communicative and friendly throughout the process. One very minor watch-out: The driveway is steep and the gravel can be slick when it rains. This is par for the course in mountain cabins, just be sure to bring a vehicle built for the terrain. We loved staying here and would happily come again!

Great place, walkable to sugar mountain lodge. The bed was very comfy. It was about an 8 minute walk or 1 minute drive to the lodge. And the ski locker was a great amenity! Will stay here again for sure!

We were 100% happy with our stay. The location was 45 minutes away from App State (including traffic). We did not venture out other than graduation venues. We enjoyed the screened porch for cards, the fire pit was perfect for toasting a few marshmallows (grand children enjoyed). Prior to arrival, I was initially concerned that our full pans of food might not fit in refrigerator but to my surprise it was a top refrigerator with double wide shelves (freezer at the bottom). During our stay there had been a 9 hour power outage (apparently scheduled transformer maintenance) and we were happy that the loss of power did not affect running water. That was a plus because we had a 9am graduation and still managed a hot shower. There were plenty of games in closet, plenty of towels, garbage bags, toilet paper, soaps, seasonings, pots, pans, utensils- etc…. You name it, it was probably there, with the exception of a portable crib (which we brought our own). Best of all - price!!! Very affordable

Tom is very responsive. Answered all of our questions and replied promptly. There was a large group of us visiting for our granddaughter's graduation from App State. We had a great time playing pool , corn hole, and board games. Kitchen was well equipped to prepare our food for the party. The sleeping accommodations were all very comfortable. Three full baths was so great to have with our group. The setting was beautiful, serene and private. Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed a night before me and my now husbands wedding with our wedding party. It was so much fun being with our friends and just walking around the property it was so beautiful and everyone had a place to sleep. Was amazing would stay again

The bed is amazing and location is walkable to restaurants, shops and university. Earthfare is close for groceries, etc. Denise is friendly and responsive and finding the place is a straight shot when arriving to Boone. Parking is easy and convenient to right into the cottage. Everything you need is in the house and spotless.

We loved the location near downtown blowing rock but also great views of the mountains. Very clean and well kept. Had everything we needed.

Very comfortable lots of space very relaxing would love to stay again

I had a great month long early spring stay at this mountainside studio condo with beautiful mountain and valley views. The unit was clean, comfortable, relaxing, and was perfect for my very simple needs. There are many on site and nearby (non-ski season) mountain hiking trails and quiet neighborhood road walking routes. I appreciated having access to the heated indoor pool and fitness room in the community clubhouse. Overall, a wonderful spot for anyone looking to enjoy the mountains!

Nicole’s place was absolutely phenomenal. We arrived in torrential downpour in the middle of the night. She’d left lights on for us and getting in was easy. The incredible hot showers that followed, even more so. The master bath has the best water pressure, ever. The resort is stunning, quiet and safe. We were able to go out and explore the property which is so dreamy! About 15 minutes outside of App State made it easy to get in and out of town for the Graduation we were in town for. Nicole’s condo is well-equipped, labels and notes everywhere which is super helpful. Plenty of extras like bandaids, feminine hygeine products and even towels for spills. Lots of communication which was so nice and reassuring. Perfect accommodations, easy to get in and out. The slider and porch were lovely.

What a great place! Also the host was very kind and great communication! Very nice place and only 10 minutes from Sugar Mountain. Wonderful amenities including pool, hot tub, sauna, library, shop, workout room etc etc. Only (potential) issue which is no fault of the owners is that this is a large 10 story condo complex. On busy days, especially around the weekend it can get very busy during check in and check out and you have to park outside of the guard shack and get shuttled back to the condo. Again, we didn’t really have much of a hang up but others did-just something to keep in mind. Fantastic place, and well equipped! Thank you again!

Probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on.

Nice house but well maintained. In a gated community which is a plus and access in and out was super easy. In walking distance to an upscale/famous restaurant. In strong proximity to Boone and Blowing Rock with a very quick drive to the Parkway.

Whitney & Jay were great hosts—responsive and helpful when we had questions. The space was just as shown/described in the listing. My family of four enjoyed our stay during spring break and our first time skiing during Sugar Mountain’s end-of-season March Madness. We made such wonderful memories here. Be sure to enjoy the most stunning sunrises and sunsets from the balcony.
