Flora June Farms

LisaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Amelia’s place is magical. Attention to detail and the ambiance created by the eclectic and thoughtfully chosen decorations and furniture make the entire stay feel like something out of a movie. Perfect option for relaxing and exploring the outdoors. We even used it as a home base for trips to Asheville, and despite the distance, it was well worth it to be able to relax in the evenings in the hottub. Everything is even more beautiful in person. A minor concern was addressed before it became anything major, and she even brought my husband a toaster for his bagels! I will mention that the lofted bed and bathtub were a challenge for me due to mobility impairments. The sleeping options downstairs were perfect for me, though. The bathtub is charming and romantic, but doesn’t have anyway to steady yourself once inside. I enjoyed baths instead of showers and they were incredible. Loved our stay here so much!

Secluded Nature Retreat: Trail | View| Waterfall

MarkRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was our second stay at Megan & Alan's beautiful cabin and it was just as enchanting this time as the first. Their beautiful home, nestled in the privacy of the WNC mountains, offers a place of unmatched R&R. Megan & Alan are perfect hosts - they are on top of their communication and will make sure you have absolutely everything you need. The private trails on the property are such a treat - it's easy to spend hours wandering the woods and enjoying the creek from the relaxation of the tree net. 10/10 top notch retreat - we can't wait to come back!

The Spruce Villa where luxury meets nature

TonyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The property is gorgeous—perched in the mountains with a stunning view and the most breathtaking sunsets we’ve ever seen. It felt like we were alone on the edge of the world in the most peaceful, private, and serene setting. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Julie had curated every detail with love and intention. The atmosphere was designed to promote relaxation and connection with nature—something we felt in every corner of the space. We also opted for the romance package and it was beyond worth it. Candles lined the path to the outdoor tub, and we were greeted with champagne, wine, and a fresh fruit board. It was elegant, thoughtful, and truly unforgettable. Julie has thought of everything. This is a place we plan to return to at least once a year for as long as we live in North Carolina. It’s more than just a stay—it’s an experience we’ll never forget.

Serene Riverfront Cabin w/ Fire Pit

JimenaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful little get away here. The place is located in a peaceful gated area, the house/cabin is very charming and has all the amenities you’ll need. It is also close to many hiking trails, and to Asheville if you want to visit, we took our dogs with us and had a fantastic time exploring the trails, most of which were open and accessible by car. There is a grocery store and gas station close enough if you forget something. It is wonderful to wake up to the sound of the river. The entry driveway is pretty steep, we came in the early spring and had no issues but for winter you’ll may need AWD to get up, we had such a nice peaceful time that will likely come back. The host was super friendly and very responsive, 5+ stars!

Ranger Retreat-Chimney Rock Cabin with Waterfalls!

ChristaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Words can’t begin to describe these incredible and amazing people. My husband and I were at Chimney Rock celebrating our honeymoon at Brett and Pam’s place when Hurricane Helene hit. Unprecedented isn’t the right word, but all I can think of. This cabin was literally our shelter from the storm and Pam and Brett were there for us every moment as they were going through their own devastation. The people of Chimney Rock are the most special community you will ever meet. We will do everything we can to support them and will be back as they begin to rebuild. We were just visitors as the whole town went through a catastrophic event, but feel forever connected to and invested in the town of Chimney Rock. Brett and Pam, thank you for opening your beautiful home to us, and for creating a sense of safety, community, and care. You are forever friends and will forever be a part of our lives.

Romantic Cabin-10 Acres Hottub

KatieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This is a great place to stay if you're wanting a secluded and romantic getaway. It's the kind of place where if it rained the whole time you're there (like it did for us), you wouldn't care because it's so cozy and well-equipped. Plus, the sound of rain on the metal roof is soothing. The owners have done a great job with the decor and all of the thoughtful touches. Keep in mind that if you're planning on making a visit to downtown Marshall part of your vacation, many of the reviews you'll find online of downtown are pre-hurricane Helene. The town (and most of the restaurants and shops) were destroyed. They had started to rebuild when we were there (April), but almost nothing was open yet. So, check before you go.

A-Frame of Mind Mountain River Cabin B

AlexRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I would recommend this stay for anyone who loves a peaceful getaway in the mountains! The devastation in the area is still prevalent but things are opening back up so we still had activities and plenty of walking to do. The home itself is beautiful and on wonderful land with hiking. Host was very accommodating and responsive as well

The Nest, a mountainside retreat

PeterRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We enjoyed our two-day stay in this very unique house. It is well appointed, very comfortable and in a great mountain location. I want to mention a few things not as negative but to advise future visitors. The house is perfect for two people but if there are to be four visitors two of them will need to navigate very steep set of stairs (more like a ladder) to get to the loft bedroom. I would not recommend it for anyone unsure of their footing. The kitchen is well equipped and we had everything we needed to fix breakfast and dinner. However, the fridge is very small and the freeze if tiny. If you need ice bring some and a cooler. The house has some great extras like the fire-pit (lots of wood provided), the hot tub and a large bathtub in the min bedroom. We would go back!
