We had such a wonderful stay. The host was super nice. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed. It was very close to the beach and restaurants. Even my little dog felt right at home and had a big fenced backyard that she loved exploring. I would definitely recommend staying here, and would love to stay again myself.

Second stay there and still love the place. The host is very accommodating. The house is clean. Plenty of linens and towels. Beautiful views of the sunsets over the bay. Will definitely return.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Driftwood Inn—from the moment we booked to the day we checked out. The story behind how the home ended up in its current location is fascinating, and you can actually find it shared in a picture hanging on the wall—such a unique touch that really makes the place feel special. While a screened-in porch, a usable elevator, and a swimming pool would be great additions, none of that took away from the beauty of our trip. We did get eaten up by yellow flies, but that didn’t stop us from enjoying every moment. We brought our boat and spent time on Dog Island every day, even cruising over to Apalachicola for a fun day of shopping and delicious food. It was hard to leave—our week flew by way too fast. Some of the best memories were collecting seashells with my grandkids, watching breathtaking sunsets, and spotting dolphins playing in the bay. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time at Laura’s place. Everything was easy and pleasant. We had everything we needed right there. Thank you for sharing your place with us. It was a family trip that was needed. And you made it as welcoming as home.

Mara’s place was wonderful! The pictures do not do it justice! The walk to the beach is short and beautiful. The house is fully equipped with everything you need. Mara was exceptionally responsive and helpful. My family and I want to come back next year!

This was the perfect location for our getaway. The two bed two bath setup was perfect for two couples with lots of space on the living room and on the porch to relax and hang out. Everything looked exactly like the pictures and was as described. The beds are comfortable but on the softer side in case that is helpful for others to know. The kitchen had almost everything we needed to cook with lots of prep space. Just note that there isn’t oil or spices so bring those if needed. The beach is super close and it was easy to walk back and forth all day long. We appreciated the beach wagon and gear for our use. The town is a bit of a walk but we enjoyed walking and rented bikes to get back and forth. We had great weather on our stay so everything was overall pretty great.

We were especially impressed with the well stocked kitchen. Had everything we needed if we wanted to cook in and watch the sunsets. The beach chairs and towels were good quality and not the cheap like ones you find some places. Nice large living room and kitchen area to gather. Big tvs for watching NCAA softball! We enjoyed eating breakfast and dinners outdoors on the large picnic table on the deck. Great view, nice beach. Maria couldn’t help the seaweed that washed in but she voluntarily sent someone over to try to clean it up. The outdoor shower and toilet were especially convenient. Pool clean and well maintained. We had a great time. As far as price it was expensive but we had great amenities and the elevator was essential for my husband’s 89 year old mom who wanted another beach trip! Thanks for being so responsive Maria to anything we needed.

This place is absolutely a five-star stay! They’ve thought of everything—beach towels, a fully stocked kitchen, and cozy touches that make it feel like home. It was perfect for my husband, me, and our two daughters. The walk to the beach was so easy, and the whole place was warm and welcoming. Port St. Joe is a wonderful spot if you want to avoid the crowds—everyone here was so friendly. It was our first visit, but we will definitely be back and rent here again!

Was a very nice place to stay great views even for a rainy stay we enjoyed the place and the neighborhood. The only complaint I had was the grill got over looked from cleaning after the people before us but I will definitely take that over previously booked places we have stayed in the past. We will definitely be booking here next time we are out this way!!

This place truly was perfect for a family vacation! Michelle is a wonderful host and her home is beautiful, clean and comfortable inside and out. If you’re looking for a private but close to everything place, this is it. Michelle was quick to respond and she took time to check in to make sure we had everything we needed. We loved our first stay in Port St Joe and the Tipsy Turtle! The house was gorgeous, had absolutely everything you would ever need. Lots of pots, pans, dinnerware, mugs, etc. we had three families, two families with kids and there was tons of space for us all. Kids loved staying in the room with bunks. Literally so close to the beach, we went 5x a day! The pool is right next door and also a wonderful community pool. Very low key. Cannot say enough good things about this spectacular home, and this gem of an area. Loved how low key this whole area was. Very private. Raw Bar up the road was amazing! Food was phenomenal. Heather was so quick to respond and very communicative. Easy check in and very easy check out. Cannot wait to come back!

Sand flee is an amazing home. It is a lot of steps and by the end of the week we had mastered them quite well. Well equipped The beach is literally less than a block away. Port St Joe is one of Florida’s best kept secret. The town and area is amazing and some of the friendliest people you will ever meet.

The Beach Cottage #1 was perfect for our family of three, and could have accommodated more of us. The pool was sparkling clean, the picnic tables were a perfect addition. Emil was very easy to communicate with and easily helped us add an extra night to our stay, and Laura was so kind and friendly! The location absolutely can’t be beat, as the beach access is just steps from the driveway. We cannot wait to return to Beach Bum Cottages, and highly recommend this stay to other families!

If you’re looking for a quiet beach getaway, this is absolutely the place to stay! Loved the area, lots of yummy food, peaceful/not crowded beach, plenty of space for all the family. The host was kind and quick to respond plus his guide was helpful throughout our stay. We didn’t have any issues with the house and hope to visit again in the future. Lovely vacation for myself, my sister and her child, my elderly mother, and my pup!! Also, the outdoor shower was fantastic in helping keep sand out of the house.

We enjoyed our stay! Very comfortable and casual home. Able to relax with our family and our dog. Beds all comfortable. Short walk on sandy path to the wooden beach walkover. Elevator was perfect for my older Mom and to take supplies up to the upper floors. Communication about the home and arrival was excellent. We would stay again. Thank you.

This luxury rental has it all!! We will be back to visit soon. The house is amazing. It was very clean both inside & outside the home. I am ocd when it comes to inspecting a rental for a stay for myself and my family. The beds were perfect with luxurious sheets and pillows. The towels for the shower were impressively large for a bath towel and you didn’t have to look hard to find more. There’s a grill that we used for a quick hamburger cookout for lunch one day. You are minutes from the island and close to all the fun things in Eastpoint & Apalachicola. There is so much rich history in the area like the Orman House & botanical garden we got to visit this trip because the house was so close. The host is a wealth of knowledge and gave us great recommendations that were spot on. They’ve also got a great binder in the front room with brochures for a great charter & all the places around you. I can’t say enough good things by about this place. Loved it & was sad to leave.

We loved our stay at Sunflower 1! The beachfront location was perfect and had all the amenities for us and our pup to feel right at home.

This is a beautifully decorated, comfortable home in a quiet area very near the bay and a short distance to a public beach. The home is well stocked and there were many extras to meet your needs. The area is very walkable. Had a great stay and would highly recommend.

Over-all we had a great stay. It really is super close to the beach. There was a house being build right across the street so our dogs barked at the banging. The kitchen was well stocked and very clean. The backyard had a lot of sand spurs that got into the dog’s paws but I feel like that must come with the territory. The host was very quick to respond to any questions we had and the check-in was very easy. The neighbor was so sweet and the neighborhood was surprisingly quiet.

If you’re looking for a stress-free vacation, Paul’s beach cottage in Carrabelle is the perfect spot. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The cottage is spotless, incredibly cozy, and thoughtfully equipped—you can tell Paul has considered every little detail. From beach chairs to kitchen essentials and everything in between, it had everything we needed and more. The location is peaceful and quiet, just a short walk to the beach and within a 30-minute drive to St. George Island. We spent most days fishing, lounging by the water, or just relaxing in the backyard—which quickly became one of our favorite spots. And the host? Truly amazing. Friendly, responsive, and genuinely caring—one of the best we've ever had. Paul went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect, and it really made a difference. We're already planning our next trip back!
