Philip and Jonathan's apartment can be described in few words: The best Airbnb in history. The apartment is beautiful, the house lovely, the neighborhood is spectacular, right next to the center of Whittier with restaurants, cafes, a market, streets, shops, and everything anyone could need. Located at the same distance from all the places one might want to see in Los Angeles, we used it as a base to go to Pasadena, Santa Monica, Venice Beach, Hermosa Beach, Anaheim, and many other places. Philip and his family have the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in, and our family has been using Airbnb in various countries for 11 years. Their attention to detail, their kindness, the care with which they maintain their home, and the hospitality with which they make you feel like a friend and not a foreign visitor are incomparable. Great coffee, tea, snacks and beverages available included. We want to thank Philip and his family with all our hearts for all their attention. We hope to return soon.

This was the perfect place for us-met our needs perfectly. Andrew was always quickly responsive (we didn’t need anything in particular but he was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed). The guest house was in a great location- quiet neighborhood (very walkable/beautiful area!), and for us, close to our daughter’s place. We can’t wait to stay here again on our next visit! Hope the dates will be open when we can come again!

Clean place. Didn’t realize it was attached to a larger house. Not clear in the description. Luckily it was still quite private so that was nice. Very clean. Felt right at home. I was a little unsettled when I found that people were coming into the gated private area while we were staying there. Someone came to get the trash cans and the landscaper was also in the private gated yard and also blocked us in the driveway. While I understand the needs of these services a heads up would have been nice. Just unexpected. Other than that it was great and very close to the Disneyland resort.

The studio was perfect and Angela is a wonderful host.

I would definitely choose Steve and Kathy's studio if you want to visit LA, Pasadena, Glendale, or anywhere near San Gabriel Valley - and sample living in a well-appointed home in Eagle Rock. It's a perfect location with a beautiful view, quiet neighborhood, and great local restaurants. The studio looks just like the photos with amenities that anticipate every traveler's need (and a nearby Target should you need anything else!). Steve and Kathy are also very responsive and gracious hosts - thank you for a wonderful stay!

I came to Newport beach for a conference, and Jeff's place was fantastic! Check in was super easy, the space was as advertised, it was plenty big, the wifi was strong, and the bed was comfortable. The real star of the show was Jeff himself - when I had specific requests, he was always able to make them work. He's a great human being, a great host, and when I'm back in the area, I'd absolutely stay with him again

We had a nice quite couple of days and nights in Lee's backyard bungalow. The bed was fantastic, bathroom was clean and beautiful. Everything was great. Would book again if ever out that way. Thank you.

While visiting from Chicago this beautiful home was way more then expected, very clean, quiet, and comfortable with so many home held amenities that we didn’t think we needed ( lint roller & seasonings in kitchen) . 5 stars across the board, book with Laura !

this was a fantastic place to stay for the price. Rachel was a very attentive host and the rental had everything I needed. the only issue is that the neighbors have a dog that barks 24/7 and it makes it incredibly difficult to sleep being right outside the window. this is unfortunately not something that can be controlled, but it would have been nice to know, so I could have been more prepared.

Anand’s place is THE BEST value in Hollywood. In addition to an immaculate home, the backyard provides a secluded sanctuary to sit or walk the garden. I HIGHLY recommend this property! And thanks, Anand for a great weekend.

We have stayed here several times and have always been satisfied. Especially enjoy the patio with the lovely plants and flowers. Such a nice spot to enjoy morning or late afternoon tea. Will stay here again for sure.

Absolutely amazing stay! It was a little tricky to find at first, but so worth it—this place is a hidden gem! The moment you walk through the gate, you're greeted with breathtaking views and an incredibly peaceful, serene ambiance. It truly feels like a private escape from the city. 10 out of 10 — I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a calm, peaceful getaway. Can’t wait to come back!

Armando was awesome from the time of booking and made for easy check in. Made parking available even though there was ample street parking. Thank you will stay here again.

Great stay, very comfortable bed. Had everything we needed. The Wi-Fi was a bit spotty when streaming video but overall it was manageable

Consider this a solid recommendation for this place! The unit was immaculate and well provisioned. Nice and efficient set-up with far more space and amenities than any hotel room. Comfortable beds, convenient location that's both walk-able to downtown (though a short drive may be preferred) and has relatively easy access to main freeways. Easy to find, with its own, well-lit parking space. All the logistics went as smooth as could be, with an easy to use door lock and instructions for the stay. I'll likely be requesting this place again for my next visit to Claremont!
