Vacation rentals with a kayak in Allegan County

The house was beautiful. It was very private, but still super close to everything to do in the area.

Beautiful house in a very scenic and cozy area. Close access to the nearby town but also was a great nature retreat. The house was very clean and the perfect hangout house for 10-15 people. Kayaking in the river was also a unique experience that we very much enjoyed. Would absolutely recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun retreat with many things to do!!!

It was a wonderful stay with our adult children to celebrate Easter. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the kitchen essentials and more! We used the outdoor grill and there were plenty of pots/pans, cooking oils, spices, utensils. The solo stove and hot tub were the highlights. The dog run was the perfect set up for our two little pups. Chris' place is very close to four wineries in Fennville and a short drive to Saugatuck breweries and restaurants. Chris thought of everything - Kleenex in every room, touch lighting, blackout curtains in the bedrooms, ample deck seating to enjoy nature. Thank you Chris, we are so thankful you shared your little piece of heaven with us!

Shannon’s place was great! We brought the sleds, it was a quick easy jog to the trails, plows left the side of the roads for the sleds. Parking is on the tighter side, but Shannon has options, so just let her know and she will gladly try and figure something out. We enjoyed our stay and plan on returning

This might be my favorite place I’ve stayed at with Airbnb. The house is so beautiful and very spacious. Waking up every morning to the sound of the birds and the views of the lake was the best. We went kayaking and loved using the grill every day. The house is less than a 10 minute drive to downtown Saugatuck where we had lunch and a great time walking around and exploring. Would love to stay again!

Beautiful lakefront home! Extremely organized and well maintained. Kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms were stocked with all the essentials. Kayaks and outdoor toys were available for lots of outdoor fun! Ping Pong table provided some friendly competition and lots of laughs. Location was ideal for some additional activities in Grand Rapids. Barbara was available to assist with anything we needed during our stay. Highly recommend this home.

The house was beautiful, exactly as pictured. The host was very responsive when we had questions. One thing we didn’t realize was that the hot tub was on the front side of the house, not the water side. There was a lot of debris from the trees all over the yard and around the hot tub, but I can imagine it’s tough to keep up. We lost power one of the nights due to a storm, but the power came on by the next morning. Overall, a great stay & would definitely recommend this place.

We loved the proximity to everything we wanted to do this weekend! Restaurants and wineries were close, as well as shopping and restaurants in Saugatuck and Holland.

Was the perfect getaway! Quiet neighborhood on a beautiful lake. The only thing that surprised us was the close vicinity to the neighbor’s house. The neighbors were very nice and did not bother us at all!

Great house on an adorable lake! We had warm weather and sat on the deck the entire stay. Close to so many cute towns and of course the wedding venue! We were very comfortable and loved the extra touches like kayaks, fishing poles, seasonings, Pam, sun screen and games. Thank you for a perfect stay!

Beautiful lakefront property, plenty of room for a family, nice accommodations and amenities, plus a very friendly, proactive Host. We would love to take advantage of all the opportunities the Gun Lake community provides during the summer months and would definitely return here to stay.

It was our second stay at Colina Cottage and everything was again fantastic. This time we fished off the dock and caught a mix of bass, perch, bluegill and crappie. The new back deck roof is a great addition. Only suggestion is to update (rebuild?) the steps to the water ... and maybe a mattress topper on the pullout couch in the smaller unit. Allegan is a cute town and we plan to return next summer.

Loved our stay at the treehouse ! This was a awesome launch pad for hiking the dune trails in Saugatuck, watching a sunset on oval beach (45 min away), and seeing the tulip festival in holland (50 min) We used the kayaks and appreciated the lightweight paddles🙇‍♀️. The hot tub heated up super fast after closing the lid and was SO nice after a day of hiking the sand dunes and kayaking. This was the perfect relaxing 2 night stay for my husband and I .

Hutchins Lake is a hidden gem. This cottage is perfect for a single, couple or small family that wants to be close to the wineries in Fennville, restaurants in Saugatuck and enjoy an all sports lake without the high rental cost of Lake Michigan. The host is wonderful, communication is great!

Really wonderful stay! Beautiful property, house, and amenities. The house was very clean and there was tons of space! It was a great treat to have loads of games, ping pong, and other accessories in the garage- great space. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with dishes and utensils which was very handy. The pond view, trails, and yard space was truly wonderful! Fantastic stay :)

We stayed at Mark's place while skiing all weekend at Bittersweet. We had a great time! Mark was super helpful and accommodating and even offered my husband to borrow his skis :) he hooked us up with discounted passes and had great local recommendations. We'll definitely be back! Thanks, Mark :)

I wanted to disconnect for a few days with my mom and aunt and Justin's place fit the bill perfectly. Dog-friendly, I was able to bring my pup, too. We spent so much time just relaxing at his magical haven bc it was so comfortable, cozy and perfect. The views of the Kalamazoo River were our favorite part. Listening to the wildlife with our coffee was so peaceful and such a wonderful way to start the day. The cabin is so beautiful and has a touch of mid-century flair. We were in heaven and I would love to go back soon! Thank you for such a perfect stay Justin and family! We adored it.
