Beautiful Cabin in Woods with Breathtaking Views

AnnaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Where do we begin....it was beautiful, memorable, amazing!!! What a gorgeous, quiet setting tucked away. Being from the southeast, we were enamored by the scenery and location. We enjoyed even simple walks and exploration around the house to look at all the pretty rocks, cacti, trees, and mountain views and wildlife (bunnies, deer). The house was clean and very homey with a fully stocked and supplied kitchen, accessible laundry room, board games, and extra towels and sheets. Crestone is a little far from major grocery and cities so we planned ahead on our way. We also stopped by the little town grocery and shops and found it a little expensive but accommodating for little here-and-theres we needed. The host gave great recommendations for the area. We highly recommend visiting the dunes and hot springs!! Host was very friendly and responsive. We would recommend this stay to anyone traveling this way. Absolutely a wonderful experience!!!

The cabin was a great private place to relax and unwind. Lucio was very friendly and accommodating during our stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to be in a more remote area and enjoy the outdoors.

The setting is very serene. Each person in our group could have lived in the swing on the patio all week and been happy! The town of Crestone is a short drive, but be prepared to spend 30+ minutes in the car if you’re venturing farther - it’s just the nature/vibe of the area, nothing against the property. If you are traveling with a pet, bring tweezers or needle nose pliers as prickly pear cacti are native and are hard to avoid.

Big Valley Bastion: Views, Baby Goats, Peace

Dana is a fantastic Airbnb host - what the Airbnb experience was meant to be. That's coming from a fellow host. He puts most hosts to shame. He was friendly from time of booking to arrival to departure. The space is beautiful and very comfortable - and perhaps most importantly it was extremely clean. Love the setting with the mountains in the distance and natural looking landscaping around. Dana was also very generous - sharing some arrowheads - and just being a great resource offering local knowledge. Thank you Dana for hosting our stay!

This remains THE place to stay in the east side of the valley. We’ve stayed for the last four years now and don’t plan on changing that any time soon.

There was some confusion on arrival, totally my fault, but Fairly was friendly and quick to respond and resolve the situation. The accommodation was clean with a comfortable stay, a well equipped kitchen and lovely and warm when we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed using the hot tub both the evening of arrival and morning before we left. This cabin is highly recommended

Two BR Ranch style home in the San Luis Valley!

GinaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Home away from home! Truly a place to be enjoyed. So peaceful, so quiet. Everything we needed was there and all the beautiful furniture and decorations really make it feel like a comfy home to stay. We cooked, we grilled, we enjoyed the views! Alamosa is such a great little town, and it was nice to be on the outside of it away from the lights and be able to see all the stars at night. We will definitely stay here again.

Life's Better In The Country

NatalieRating, 5 starstoday
Jennifer was easy to talk with, very fast response and attentive! It is on the same property at their personal residence but I still felt like we were secluded and had our own space. The morning of our check in Jennifer messaged myself with all the information that was needed. I loved that she reached out and took one less thing off my mind! The property was very clean, and homey. I loved the location, it is very close to the Colorado Farm Brewery, great place to visit! There is an Italian restaurant called my brother’s place that was very good as well! This was definitely a 5 star trip and I would happily stay here again!
