Vacation rentals in Ager

This place is great, especially for the price. While it's just a 1 bedroom apartment, it feels much bigger than the photos show, especially the bedroom. The bed is super comfy and the bedroom doesn't share a wall with neighbors, just the carports, it's quiet. It's within reasonable walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, etc. The shower has the strongest water pressure of any shower I've ever been in. It's amazing. I'll definitely stay here again if it's available.

My husband and I needed a place to stay on our way back home… so glad we came across Rebecca’s place. It has everything you need and more. The farm is beautiful and we were able to meet the donkeys, cows, and chickens. They are all so friendly. The home is dog friendly and our pug Tater fell in love with the donkeys. We will definitely be back on our road trips to CA!

Absolutely excellent stay! The place was spotless, just incredibly clean. The house was spacious and it felt very homey. We wanted for absolutely nothing. The house basically had everything we needed and it was so nice that the owners really thought of everything. There was even excellent coffee provided! Internet is a little slow but that is to be expected and it did not hinder streaming or anything. Other than that, everything was great! The yard was huge and our dog loved it. We also loved the extra fenced area for the dog as well! The house is situated in an absolutely beautiful area with both fields and forests as your backdrop. It was very quiet and peaceful and so, so spacious outside. Scott and Mary are also just incredible hosts. They are so very kind, and very responsive and accommodating. I highly recommend this property and look forward to staying here again when we decide to go back to the Shasta area. Thank you Scott and Mary for an unforgettable stay!

Great stay! Lisa was very responsive and accommodating. The place was very comfortable and clean, and it was an easy walk to coffee and other restaurants. My favorite was the heated bathroom floor! ☺️We would definitely stay again.

Great stay!! House is beautiful and kitchen well stocked. We don’t need for anything. The beds were super comfy and we all slept great. Jordan was very quick to respond to one question we had. The house is close to lots of fun outdoor hiking and sightseeing, including many beautiful waterfalls. It is however one road removed from the freeway (which is not noticeable from the photos), so if you sit outside or leave the windows open you will have traffic noise. Otherwise 5 stars all around!

At Janet’s place, you don’t just stay—you truly feel like you belong. There’s a deep sense of connection, of being part of something bigger. Black Butte stands in its perfect triangular shape outside the kitchen window, and Mt. Shasta sits in full view from the living room, like a quiet guardian blessing the space. Light flows through the house, bringing warmth and a peaceful presence. With open views of Mt. Shasta, it feels like nature is gently holding and guiding you. You can witness sunrises, sunsets, moonrises, and moonsets—all from one spot. That alone is such a gift. The location is ideal—calm and quiet, yet close to town and everything you need. Janet’s local tips were helpful and added to the experience. She communicates with kindness and clarity. The space is clean, peaceful, and energetically aligned. You can feel it’s held with care and intention. The presence of St. Germain’s energy is subtle but strong. Highly recommend—and we’d love to come back.

Nice place. Spacious kitchen. Two queen size beds and one single bed. Richard was kind enough to let us use a travel crib for our baby. AC/heater in individual bed rooms were also nice. There were plenty of blankets as well. Walkable to the supermarket and an Indian restaurant (both highly recommended). Felt very safe.

This place was super cozy and setup for a beautiful stay. It had everything we needed. It's a very short walk to the main strip in Mt Shasta, which has all the shops and restaurants. Anya and Douglas were very good at communicating with me about the trips, house rules and were quick to respond to any questions I had. If you're with a large group and are looking for a place to stay, definitely think about booking this spot.

This house is clean, easy to find, and very well stocked. It had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The upstairs bedroom was beautiful and I slept soundly! I will define stay here again when I visit McCloud.
