Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Wilkes County

We were looking for a last minute booking on a home close to Boone and came upon this listing. The place was spotless clean and had everything that you may need for a short stay. The instructions and the check in and out process was super easy. My teens loved the giant tv screens and the pool table and we loved the view and the privacy. We would love to stay again but this time in the warmer weather so we can enjoy the porches and the views more.

We loved your beautiful cabin! Sitting in the front porch with the view of the lake was so peaceful and relaxing. We had everything we needed. Great getaway weekend!!

This place was a great getaway for the weekend. It was very clean and comfortable. We were able to walk to local shops and restaurants and able to drive easily to nearby attractions. James is a great host. We’d stay here again!

Cute little house. The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. Took a little bit to figure the remotes out in the living space but once we got it it was no problem. Loved how close this little place was to West Jefferson and a nice back road drive to Grayson Highlands. Nice front porch to sit on but there is some road noise but not enough to bother us. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to the area.

Such a perfect country getaway spot! We came for a wedding in a nearby venue and this was an absolutely perfect spot! Such a cute farmhouse within great distance of local cities and state parks. Our favorite hang out spot in the home was definitely the sunroom. Highly recommend this farmhouse for larger families or groups!

We had a fantastic stay at Olde Beau, and Bryan was extremely helpful setting up our vacation and felt all of our needs would be meet. The neighborhood is beautiful and felt secluded among mountain views. We played a few rounds on the well groomed golf course.And enjoyed adventures at the near by Stone Mountain. The area has a lot to offer and explore. Highly recommend for a mountain escape.

We had a nice stay. Everything was as promised and the host was very friendly. We had everything we needed. Beautiful view in a peaceful mountain setting. Kitchen was well equipped and bed was comfortable. Large, beautiful shower.

My friend and I visited West Jefferson to attend a 3-day art workshop at the Florence Thomas School of Art. The Uptown Loft was conveniently located near the school and the it was delightful to be right in the downtown area to explore the city and find good dining experiences. The Loft itself was true to how it was described and well stocked with amenities. Very clean and well furnished. We would definitely consider staying again if we re-visit West Jefferson. Thanks Ken.

Loved the proximity to restaurants and downtown. Beautiful, warm and comfortable decor made us feel right at home. Loved the fireplace. Cari was a very gracious hostess.

Walnut Hill was wonderful! Its was exactly what our party needed for the long weekend. The rental company was top notch! We had a water issue and they sent someone to fix it at 6:30 in the morning so it wouldn’t mess up our plans for the day. I couldn’t say enough good things about the rental company.

This bottom floor apartment was in a gorgeous, quiet neighborhood that was close to all the West Jefferson places we like to visit. It was clean and organized. I loved the little “extra thoughtful amenities” that were available if you forgot things from home. My favorite part was sitting on the porch drinking coffee relaxing while two hummingbirds hovered for a minute.

We enjoyed our stay, one of the main reasons we choose this location was it is walkable to West Jefferson. Plenty of space to feel at home, very clean with everything you need. Loved the mcm look and the hardwood floors. Mark was very informative with all communication. We would definitely stay again.

This is our second time staying here. We loved it so much we came back! I grew up in WJ so I've seen it change so much over the years. This loft is the perfect location in DT. 3 of my lifelong friends came i for my mom's 80th birthday party (not at the loft). But we walked the entire town and of course visited the cheese plant, BlackJacks., Boondocks, the boot place, and the little coffee shop right beside it. (great tea and coffee) Parking was not a problem at all. There was not one thing we needed that was not there. I can't speak to the TV / Audio because we did not turn it on one time - we were too busy talking and laughing. We will be back.
