great place to stay on the lake. very spacious with many places to sleep. loved everything about the place on my visit. would stay here again!

Amber's place was awesome for our family getaway. Lots of weed but kids were able to catch some pan fish off dock. Had bonfire. Locals (bait shop) friendly. House decor and everything went with a color scheme and matched making our stay feel high end/modern/clean. Had everything we needed (even birthday candles which we didn't use/need, but bonus points for the thoughtfulness because I've forgotten candles once or twice in the past!). Large yard.

The place was very clean! The bunk beds should be in the bigger bedroom. We came to quad so a hose would have helped. All in all we will definitely come back!

We enjoyed our stay to soak up a few more sunny days of summer. Downtown was extremely walkable and the view of the lake was gorgeous. The space was comfortable for relaxing after a day of adventure and had everything we needed. The decor really provided a cabin and “Up North” feel.

We highly recommend this place. All went very smooth throughout the reservation, check-in and check-out process. The house is set-up to enjoy the easy access lake view. Lots of comfortable outdoor furniture, too. The kitchen is full stocked with all the pots, pan, etc. you could need…including a crockpot. Coffee pot tip…don’t pull more than 8 cups of water in the pot or 2 scoops (1/2 cup) grounds - or the water stops flowing through or you end up with a lot of grounds in the pot. We would be very happy to return here!

What a beautiful place and location. It was perfect for our trip. Easy ride into Green Bay to watch the game and such a quiet area. The Lake was great to look at through the glass doors. Would absolutely recommend to anyone and will book again!

One of the best we have rented! Loved everything about it. Home was perfect size for our group and it was immaculate and very well organized! Lots of love and care is put into this place and it shows! Its not too far from town which is what we wanted but also a perfect distance away for quietness. We will definitely be booking again in the future.

Very clean & comfortable place! Beautiful yard and deck.. beds were comfy, kitchen had what we needed and the living area chairs were just what we needed after a day of shopping! Jody was responsive and had check in & check out instructions written out so well. Thank you for having us! We’ll be back!

This home was in a great location with a beautiful view. we enjoyed our stay in Oconto while we were fishing. Great place to relax

The Lake Cottage was exactly as pictured - clean, nostaglic, modernized amentities and loads of vintage charge. We booked last minute for a New Years Eve hurrah with my husband and two children (ages 3 & 8), and my only regret is not staying longer. We snowboarded, ice-fished, played board games, did puzzles... and simply enjoyed our time together. It was restorative and the cottage is conducive to slowing down and savoring each moment. The property (albiet Winter) was spacious and felt private, tucked down the long(er) drive with a single neighbor in sight. Elizabeth, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful. 10/10, will probably book again!

Stayed here with family. Great place, responsive friendly host, and lots to do. My kids had a great time!

We had an Amazing Stay!

This was an amazing place to stay with family to celebrate a winter holiday weekend. Beautiful, private location that was a quick drive into Minocqua for groceries and anything else you may want. Huge living spaces to gather all together and it was amazing to have full bathrooms in each bedroom. Only slight negatives were one bed that was very sunken in the middle (but thankfully we had a younger adult staying with is whose back could handle it!) and some difficulties figuring out what each light switch did. Overall, it was an incredible place to stay in the winter, with great accommodations for 5 adults, and I can imagine it being an even more incredible place to stay in the summer months to enjoy the small private lake.

Great cabin on a beautiful Lake! Host is friendly and responsive. Good fishing right off the dock and close to ATV trails. This place is perfect and we definitely recommend it!

Scott's cabin is amazing, it's even better than the pictures. He was also very gracious and communicative for everything we needed while we were there. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

Very responsive hosts. Instructions to get in were clear. Home is stacked with everything you could need and more with labeled drawers and closets. Puzzles, games, toiletries, baggies, storage containers, laundry options, every kitchen appliance needed for food and drink, many towels and linens. Newer seeming couches in main room were comfy. While it felt like fall during our visit, many options for water activities available. Pup enjoyed swimming and helping us fish off the pier. Nearby corner store gas station has many grocery options, deli, and everything you likely need for fishing, cocktails, and even had a birthday cake. Definitely worth the drive to explore Goodman County Park/Story Falls. Peaceful lake property. Definitely would consider booking again!

We had a great stay! The house was perfect for our group of 13. There was lots to do on property and the view is incredible! The hosts were great. We had an issue arise and the hosts had a maintenance person on site within an hour. We would definitely recommend this place!

We had a wonderful long weekend in this super cozy, extremely clean home where we had everything we needed. The view and sunsets were amazing, and we enjoyed the backyard even though the weather was a little chilly. Check in was easy and Natasha was very responsive. We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again!

The place was just right for our girls getaway. It had a great location right on the lake. Since it was late fall it was very quiet. Would love to come back when it is warm to enjoy the water. The place itself was wonderful, the picturea didn't deceive.

Me and my family enjoyed our time here. There were tons of stuff to do especially for the kids. Jason was super proactive which made communicating with him easy. This place definitely instilled beautiful memories with my family. Definitely worth checking out!

A really lovely place to stay - in a peaceful area and with a small private beach. The cottage was really clean and had great amenities. I would definitely recommend this place.

Our stay was amazing. Enough beds and places to sleep for all of us. The house was very spacious and had many areas to hang out. The house was as described, even better!!! I was highly recommend this property. Karin was a very good host, responded immediately to any questions that I had. The hot tub was an added bonus!!! This was our second stay as an extended family gathering for family celebrations. The house is very accomodating and doesn't feel at all crowded with 8 people staying for a duration. ( More often than not we were all gathered in one room, but if anyone needed to get away there was plenty of space to do that too.) Gardens and green space are serene and beautiful. So nice and quiet!!. Saw turkey, fox and ducks. Thank you! Our family's been in Wausau since 1950 so it's good to find The Chalet as a home away from home.
