We went on our annual friend trip here and it was incredible. Jeanne was a fabulous host and was so responsive. We tend to ask a lot of questions and Jeanne was always responsive and willing to answer our questions quickly and thoroughly. The driveway to the house is extremely long and very wooded, but the driveway was all paved, so it makes it very easy to drive up to the house. The little details (i.e. the toilet paper being folded into bows, the basket of s'mores ingredients, and the blankets for the fireside) did not go unnoticed and were a great touch! The house is absolutely beautiful and very well-kept and clean. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was relaxing! We are absolutely thrilled we got a chance to visit this place and we hope to be back soon! Thanks for everything!

We really enjoyed our stay, even though the majority of our stay it was raining so we didn’t get to enjoy the firepit area and outdoors as much. The soaking tub was a plus that we enjoyed. Very beautiful place, and our needs were well taken care of without us needing to contact Tiffany once. Everything was well thought through. One thing that is something to consider or perhaps a plus depending on who you are.., there is a Dollar General and small gas station store just down the road but that was it as far as shopping goes.

The stay at Jeff's place was amazing. We didnt spend alot of time at the house but what time we did spend was great! Wish we had more time at the house but it is a beautiful home and spacious. Very easy check in and clear directions! Jeff is very responsive. We would highly recommend this place to stay and are looking forward to staying again next year for the same event.

Pine wood retreat

The perfect house for a long weekend with friends. We very comfortably fit six adults and five kids (ages 5, 4, 2, 1 and 1). So well equipped for families with a crib in the master bedroom and tons of toys and games. Lots of places to hang out from the beautiful screened in porch to the open layout upstairs and game room downstairs. The location is incredible… a front yard full of horses (you’re living amongst the farms) and a very short drive to the activities we chose. Highly recommend checking out Cherry Crest Farm, Strasbourg train and Dutch Wonderland. Across the street from the house is an Amish stand with fresh baked goods and strawberries. For food, Lancaster Brewing co was fantastic as well as Speckled Hen. Can’t wait to come back!

Our family had a wonderful stay. This home was so beautiful, clean, and the owners were very responsive and friendly. The home is nestled in the woods surrounded by so much greenery. It was beautiful! Not only the house was stunning, but the area in general was so peaceful, and slow-paced. Truly a great place if you want to get away and just simply relax. We would love to come back one day to do more activities in the area. Thank you so much for hosting!

The Cottage on Main is close to everything we visit the New Holland area for. Shadey is only 2 mins away for great donuts in the morning, so that's a bonus. We enjoyed another great stay at the Cottage on Main and will be back again. Thank you.

Pickleball - Hot tub - Views

Pros: * very clean, rooms, surfaces, bathrooms, beds. * had almost every gadget you could ever need, extra pillows, blankets, kitchen stuff, random items I would have never thought of * private location for our 7 adults and 6 kids all under age 12 allowed much room to run. * John was very responsive * huge, spacious rooms. * plenty of extra outdoor tables/chairs * very near fabulous Lake Tobias zoo. Cons: * there really aren't any. Be aware this is very rural. Other than the zoo, there is not much around within a 30 minute drive. We had 2 of 4 rainy days, however, the outdoor kitchen/gazebo, shuffleboard, basketball, hot tub, playset, pickleball were fun to use even during light periods of rain. Great walking trails and we drove to the hang gliding launch, which is a must to do.... views are breathtaking. This house provides excellent family time. A 2nd refrigerator would have been helpful, but John did provide a freezer of ice so we could use the cooler
