Great location!! It was well maintained, very peaceful, and a short drive to downtown Clayton. We would definitely stay here again.

Ken is very kind, friendly, helpful and funny. His house and yard are gorgeous and the view of Lake Ontario is unbeatable! The hot tub, deck with fire table, pool and the seating with a fire pit out in the yard are perfectly set up. We wouldn’t couldn’t ask for more! The town of Pulaski is not far and easy to get to if you ever need but the sunsets are so beautiful you may not want to leave the house! Selkirk Shores State Park is only a couple minute drive and can be seen from the yard. We really love staying here each year when we come upstate to go salmon fishing. It’s the perfect fancy retreat after a day in the woods. We’ve started bringing our daughter and parents this year and even those who don’t fish were just happy to hang out at the house and enjoy the amenities. The view alone is worth the price how nice the house is and how kind Ken is, are an amazing bonus! I can’t say enough good things! We will return!

Our family of 5 was comfortable and location was great for our plans. Neighborhood was friendly, quiet and felt at home.

This place was awesome. The indoor pool was amazing. The local village is only two miles away for any necessities. We stayed during a massive snowstorm and had no issues whatsoever. Davit was extremely pleasant to deal with. Can’t wait to come back!

The cottage was spotless and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful, making it a perfect getaway. Highly recommended!

Emily was amazing with communication. She got back to us quickly about our interest in the house for a weekend, and she made sure that we had all required information for access and use of the house. The house was clean and well stocked with needed items. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was peaceful and relaxing—perfect for a getaway. The hot tub was amazing, especially in the quiet surroundings. The host thoughtfully prepared everything we needed, including plenty of towels. The cabin was cozy and full of fun things to do, making it a great spot for families. We highly recommend this place and would definitely love to come back!

The house is beautiful and clean; very open and not cluttered. We would stay again. The house was well stocked with the things needed. The only draw back we had was it is close to the highway; the noise and traffic was a little much for us. Other than that it was a great time had for me and my family. We were about 30 minutes out for the venue we went for. The host was kind and responded quickly to my messages.

Just a beautiful setting to enjoy peace, quiet and rest! The home was spotless with very comfortable beds a wonderful big kitchen. The home is very spacious which allowed for eight of us to not feel on top of each other…until we wanted to be when playing games at the large kitchen table! We had a bit of a cool, rainy long weekend, but at least the covered porch allows some of us to sit outside and get some fresh air when needed. My brothers and I agreed that we will look forward to having another family weekend together in this home in the future!

Everything about this place was fabulous!!!! What stood out most of all was how easy the communication and conversation were ! Add that to the beautiful scenery and charming house it was an amazing stay - we all decided we want to go back ! Next time with no rain hopefully!!!!

Michelle and Dans place right on the water was perfect for our guys fishing trip. We were able to keep the boat tied to the dock right behind the house and the location was great. Will definitely be back

We had a great stay. Great value for 4 of us travelling together. Clean house, has many needed amenities, quiet and peaceful surroundings.

Such a great find! We were costing our dd and sil right before they deployed to Syria. Perfect location to enjoy time with them. Was here in February and this was a much better place than the abnb above goodfellows. She does have coffee for her Keurig or for a pot of coffee including filters but stop on the way in for cream.

This place is the perfect getaway for a peaceful time. Our wonderful host Paula was very responsive and made everything so easy for us to feel comfortable! 10/10 would recommend.

Riverside Retreat was a treat, if I could give 10 stars I would. The home was well appointed with amenities, immaculate, and a pleasure to stay at!! All our needs were met and than some. Easy walking distance to venues. Amber is a Super Host and great to work with. Will definitely stay again!!

My partner and I had a great stay 😊 Beautiful home for those who are interested in stargazing and reconnecting with nature. The place was very home-y and clean! There was a guidebook by the table as soon as you enter to read through (same information as on Airbnb). The patio is nice and the stargazing spot is perfect. Kitchen is very clean and accessible. Big plus with the bathroom mirror with the lighting and heat :) Windows by the living room didn’t have curtains but! It’s very private otherwise. Neighbours are fairly far away. So no one can really see through the side windows unless they’re directly there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this adorable lake house on Ontario Lake. The location is truly exceptional—situated right on the water, it offered breathtaking views and picture-perfect sunsets each evening. The setting was peaceful, private, and ideal for a relaxing escape. The home itself had a unique charm, with a few characterful quirks typical of a lakeside cottage, none of which detracted from the comfort or tranquility of our stay. The host provided a well-organized and helpful guidebook, which included clear instructions for the house and thoughtful recommendations for local attractions and dining. Overall, this was a delightful and restorative retreat, and we would gladly return. Highly recommended for those seeking serenity and natural beauty in a cozy lakeside setting.

We were completely enamored by the beauty of the inside and outside of the house. Clean, tidy, comfortable and a lovely collection of decorations. The hostess was very accommodating. You will have a very peaceful and restful stay. We are already thinking of booking another reservation.

A great family time by the water in a comfortable rental!

Came up for Pike opener. Couldn’t ask for a better place. Daniel is extremely responsive when contacting him. The place is very clean, has everything you could need and has a cabin lake house feel. Good water pressure too! Dock is brand new and was easy to dock my boat. Washer and dryer on site is a huge plus. Location is perfect and is close to convenience stores and tackle shops while maintaining privacy. I plan on making this my new place for pike opener every year. Will also be back this summer with the kids. Thank you!

This home is stunning, and well equipped, in a beautiful location. It was outstanding to be right on the lake with kayaks and canoes. Nights were spent grilling, having bonfires, and looking out over the lake (or up at the stars) in the hot tub. Everything was fantastic - the only downfall is accessibility, as you need to take a ferry to the island. At the end of the day though, the ferry was just an extra piece of planning and research, but was unproblematic. Great house - thank you Maria!
