We had a wonderful experience at this sweet place. Everything was comfortable and clean. This hostess thinks of everything, and I do mean everything! We were delighted to have a well equipped kitchen with fresh eggs waiting for us and a goodie basket with lots of fun choices. I highly recommend this property and would stay again if we were in the area. Thank you so much for being an awesome hostess!

Family/pet friendly adventure base for all seasons

MarcelloRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This spot is PERFECT for exploring Hood River. There is a great bakery for a morning start two blocks away, an amazing playground a ten minute walk away and all of the main city attractions (restaurants and such) are a 15 minute walk away. It is in a quiet neighborhood and you get a view of both Mt Hood and Mt Adams walking around the neighborhood. The house itself is warm and classic. The kids toys, books, and room with a TV was great for families. The host was extremely accommodating and responsive. Couldn't recommend the spot more highly, it was the perfect stay!

Double Mountain Escape

DianeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We totally enjoyed our stay at Diane's place. Due to flight delays, we arrived at 1:30 in the morning. I had communicated to Diane that we would be late. She had a poppy seed loaf ready for us along with cream in the fridge for our morning coffee. Super thoughtful. The place was full of amenities which I had not seen in some of the other places we have stayed at. Lots of towels which we truly appreciated. That is always a plus as there never seems to be enough of them at other places we have stayed at. The place was super clean and comfortable. We met Diane and were able to chit chat for a little while and it was very nice getting to know her. She is kind, gracious, and offered to help in whatever was needed. The place was quiet and we loved the scenery. Should we ever return to Hood River, this would be the first place we would consider. Thanks Diane for making our vacation wonderful and comfortable.

Hood River Home with hot tub: Alpine Acres

AmberRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
My family and I loved staying here! It was very close to hood river and a lot of vineyards and hikes. The house was very spacious, and it was easy to find everything we needed (towels, cups, games, etc). The whole outdoor area and location was very peaceful, we loved sitting in the hot tub and making s’mores with the fire pit in the evening. HIGHLY recommend staying here with a big group / family trip.

Super cozy apartment walking distance to downtown

MarjaRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Wow! What a fantastic place! Spacious, comfortable, but cozy. Everything guests might want or need. The kitchen has wonderful decor -- it belongs in a magazine! And it is so well stocked. I had just come from days of extreme heat in Montana with a broken AC, and there were many bottles of cold water in the fridge. I gratefully took one along with me to help me tolerate the next leg of my drive. The organic cotton sheets were so smooth and even IRONED! Patricia recommended a place to eat on my way into town, and it was great. Everything was just wonderful. The only thing to know is that if you have any mobility issues, be sure you're aware that you'll be taking your luggage upstairs ... But it's worth any challenge that this might present. Thank you Patricia and Frank for creating a wonderful space! You've gone above and beyond.

Eagle Heights Hide-a-Way

Cozy little place away from everything. We saw deer and turkeys in the yard everyday. There were beautiful sunsets. The bed was awesome. There is a restaurant/sports bar less than a mile away. We went there for dinner and the food was good. Bridget was VERY responsive to the little problems we had. All in all, a great stop for us.

Ski In/Out 2+ Bedroom pool & great views

MaileRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Hubs and I have been wanting to take the kids skiing for years. But as they would be first timers we desired a casual, fun, low stress experience. Having lived in Oregon I immediately thought of Mount Hood. We lucked out that Violet’s place was available as our family prefers having more space and the ability to cook (in part because of food allergies and picky eaters). When we walked in we were BLOWN AWAY but how resorty the apartment looked and felt. I mean - heated bathroom floors, all the amenities, and soft amazing beds. Beautiful view from the balcony. Even a little hidden nook bed that my 10 yr old just adored. It really was perfect for us. We skied at Meadows and skibowl (go to Meadows - it’s worth the drive) but love the tubing experience at skibowl. The heated pool was so fun - every time my daughter got too hot - she’d hop out and make a snow angel then hop back in. I would not hesitate to book here time and time again.

We had a fantastic stay! The condo was spacious, well-appointed, and perfectly located—just a short drive to Mount Hood Meadows. The clubhouse amenities (pool, hot tub, and sauna) were a great bonus for relaxing after a day on the mountain. Looking forward to making this an annual trip. Thanks again!

Condo near Hood River with Spectacular Gorge View

PeterRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We were very happy with our six day visit. The apartment is so comfortable, with full, large kitchen area, good bed, large living room area with a great view over the river and to the cliffs and mountains. Wonderful sunshine through the glass doors in the afternoon. It only takes a short time to get used to the regular train and highway traffic below. The area has much to offer. For us we enjoyed the many open hikes on both sides of the river. Expansive views with Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams dominating the landscape. Many wineries to visit, our favorite being Waving Tree. We would definitely return here. Both the apartment and the area can be fully recommended.
