Vacation rentals with a kayak in Warren County

This spot was great! It served as a base camp for the Adirondack portion of our 2024 fall expedition. It's just minutes from Lake George but not in the chaos so when you are done there you feel like you are going home. Our only regret is that we had so many road trips planned we didn't get to spend much time at Glen lake - it is so peaceful and quiet. However, It was great to wake up each morning to the sun sparkling across the lake and coming right into the living room through the trees, especially with the leaves radiating in color. Everything is right nearby so it's super convenient and it's just a minute from RT87 so you can go where ever you want. The host we're super nice, very friendly and made it feel like we were at our 3rd home - totally comfortable! We'd go back in a heartbeat...

I stayed at Greg‘s house two long weekends in September and October. I went with several friends and then I came back several weeks later with my family. big beautiful house in a lakefront setting with a really nice fire pit overlooking the lake. Gregg allowed us to use a row boat which happened to be at the property, but usually kept at another house nearby. I did some fishing from the row boat but was unsuccessful. The kitchen is well appointed, and there is a really nice propane grill on the deck. My kids loved the ping-pong table and foosball table in the basement. You should bring your own drinking water as the well water has a sulfur smell.

We truly enjoyed our experience at this breathtaking cottage. The hosts were exceptionally responsive and welcoming upon check-in and throughout our stay. The cottage is even more stunning in person than in the photos. We had ten in our party and every single one of us felt the thrill of catching fish ranging from sunnies to perch, bullhead and impressive size bass out of Minerva Lake. The kayaks and canoes were readily accessible to all. This is a family-owned retreat where everyone exudes warmth and friendliness. We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at Michele’s River Retreat over Easter weekend. She has thought of everything in her Air b n b! There was nothing missing! She even had a nice snack basket waiting for us. The house is so clean and perfectly set up for a relaxing time. We loved the kayaks, corn hole, ping pong and pool tables. We will definitely be back!

Stephen is a fantastic host with a great spot overlooking the lake. We traveled with three kids under 4 and were very comfortable and welcomed very warmly. Anything we needed or needed to know, Stephen provided and then some. We all cant wait to come back! Thanks, Stephen and Co!

Beautiful location and house amenities were exceptional. Host even had a welcome basket of goodies sitting out for our arrival. Kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms well appointed and the views spectacular. Close to lots of activities and restaurants Would definitely stay again

Had a great stay. The pool was closed although the listing advertises a heated pool so apparently that wasn’t open for the season yet. Great property!

A amazing house in a wonderful location! Could not have asked for a better bnb spot while working 26 hours from home. Cherri made us feel at home and was very sweet and understanding. Would highly recommend this beautiful home😁

Tucked away on a private road, this place was perfect for some rest and relaxation. My daughter and I spent our short time there sitting by the lake, shopping at the outlets and just doing nothing (which was the point of this getaway). I would definitely stay again!

If you’re looking to experience the magic of Lake George, this is the place. The house is exactly as described and as in photos. It’s a quaint cottage from 1916 and everything inside reflects that. The bedrooms are cozy and big enough to walk around in (I was unsure from the photos). The 2 front bedrooms have doors that open to the huge screened in porch. The living room has a ton of space for hanging by the fire or enjoying the view of the lake. The kitchen is adorable with more than enough pots, pans, silverware, spices, condiments, etc. You will find all that you need. The very large screened in porch is really the main attraction of this house. We spent almost all of our time here enjoying the most stunning sunsets and morning coffee. The house is about 20 feet from the dock and also had stairs to walk right in. The shower was in a separate house but that was no issue, even with kids. Dasha was an amazing host and responded instantly to every message. We hope to rent again!

This is probably one of the best Airbnbs I ever stayed at. The cabin and the location was absolutely stunning, it looked unreal. The cabin was very clean and decorated beautifully. I am definitely going to book again in the future. I highly recommend booking this cabin if you are visiting the Adirondacks.

Highly recommend!! We had such a peaceful long weekend at the cottage. Very private backyard. Cottage was so cozy and comfy.

Great location. Even with the other cottages there is enough privacy and a lot of space. We brought a few lawn games and had plenty of space to set them up. The small beach area is across the street but very accessible. The kids had fun playing in the water, sadly I forgot our sand toys but they enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks. We mostly stayed close but did enjoy a kayaking trip to the lake. (I did not think about life jackets, we were fine without them but if you want them, you will need to bring them) We also enjoyed the hike up the mountain behind the hub which is walking distance from the cottage. Great hike, not too hard, but a good workout with a beautiful view of the lake.

It's a great destination, right between Lake George and Boltons Landing. The view from the cabin was serene, and the cabin itself was pristine and cozy. Highly recommend visiting!

Perfect family get together at this lake house. Stunning take views throughout the first floor, great outdoor areas and kayaks. Huge dining room table that can seat 12. Location is great. Quick access to town, charming store a short walk away that has all the essentials, and a boat rental place that’s super close by if you want to take advantage of the lakefront dock (which we did). The upstairs got a little warm but otherwise was a perfect stay.

We’ve been coming to Schroon for 18 years, so have a lot of experience with cabin rentals in the area. The outdoor space at Sally’s is stunning, with sunsets that never got old! Though the property is just off the road, it was quiet and very private, as the front of the cabin and outdoor space face the pristine shoreline. The cabin is rustic and cozy in all the good ways, & the beds are so, SO comfortable! We cooked most of our meals in, which made it nice to have such a beautiful view from the kitchen window. The Adirondack Store is within walking/biking distance, which made it fun to dine in for breakfast before heading out for a day of hiking/mountain biking/fishing/ADK Extreme/exploring. Whatever our daytime activities were, we made sure to back at the cabin to cook, take an evening swim & view the gorgeous sunsets. There were a few household mishaps beyond our host’s control, but she maintained good communication, promptly addressing the issues. We hope to stay here again!

Gorgeous, quaint, rustic Adirondack cabin like something you see in the magazines. Literally ON the water. The Hide-A-Way cottage property has tons of things to do! Great for a family trip. Location is on a serene, quiet lake but close to Lake George village if you want more activity. Host was excellent and very informative.

Our family had a really nice stay at Cramers point . Having access to waterfront was great also . We would definitely return again .

This is my family's second stay at Jeff's listing. It is our absolute favorite trip we now look forward to taking each year. The house is even more beautiful and peaceful in person than in the photos. Jeff was extremely responsive and accommodating. The house was spotless upon check in and had all the amenities we could ever want/need. I can't wait to come back!

This place is such a hidden gem! Amazing fireplace/patio area, homey wooden cabin feeling, great food areas around and super private/quiet! We felt right at home!

The cabin is decorated with great taste and finesse. When you light the fireplace and sit by the large window, the setting becomes simply magical. It is undoubtedly one of our best experiences on Airbnb. Donna guided us wonderfully throughout our stay, explaining everything clearly and answering all our questions with patience and kindness. We greatly appreciated. On our last day, she kindly offered us a late check-out, which allowed us to enjoy the last rays of sunshine and take an extra scenic walk. Luke & Joy's place was absolutely beautiful! Even better than what I expected. It was so clean and felt so homey. I loved sitting on the porch every morning with my coffee with beautiful views of the forest and ponds. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was amazing. Very easy check in and check out process as well. The tall pines sign was very helpful to know where to turn into the driveway. There's a tops and a few restaurants nearby that are easy to get to. I also recommend checking out downtown Saratoga Springs and Lake George. My friends and I had a great time! You definitely won't be disappointed with a stay here!
