Stayed here on a work trip at Fort Johnson. Very close by and nice and quiet off the main roads. House was clean and beds were comfortable. I reached out to ask about the internet speeds and Jordan was quick to respond. Would stay here again over a hotel.

Peggy and Josh were amazing through my whole stay. They provided everything and more that I could ask for. Directions to the cabin were easy to navigate, the book inside gave all information needed, and even provided local recommendations for food and adventure. Loved staying at this cabin!

I was lucky enough to find Katelyn’s home when traveling to my grandmothers funeral. The house was charming and exceeded all my expectations. It’s close to town and several delicious restaurants. We will book again the next time we are in town!

From start to finish Tricia & Buddy were awesome from great communication, availability, spacious and comfortable property that was in such a peaceful and beautiful area. We had 7 people stay and was plenty of room for everyone. Absolutely would stay again!

Tina's place was exactly as advertised...and more! We have stayed in many Airbnbs and Tina's was certainly the nicest and most comfortable for us. From the outstanding communication, to the inviting smell when you entered the home, to the immaculately clean and comfortable accommodations, Tina's place had it all. It was truly like a second home for us during our stay. When travel plans bring us back to Ft. Johnson to visit family, we wll stay at Tina's place. Can't say enough about this home away from home! 🙂

We booked this cabin home as a venue for my granddaughters 2nd birthday party. It was only me, Grandma MoMo, that stayed at the cabin house for the 5 days. But on the day of her party my family had an absolute blast! There was so much to do. Volleyball sand court, of which the babies could play with their beach toys when the adults weren’t playing volleyball. There was corn hole to play, a super cool swing at the back of the property, fire pit with comfy seating and hammock swings. Loads of beautiful grass lawn for all the kids to run and play. So needless to say. We had an amazing time and it was worth every penny! Thank you David!!! —Maureen M. - Hollywood. Ca.

I was in Deridder for work doing night shifts at the local mill. Pros: Wanda’s place was quiet, private, accommodating and price competitive to the larger chain hotels. Lots of movie and show options on the Roku TV. Grocery stores and decent restaurants are only 5 minutes away (I’d recommend Steamboat Bill’s). And for anyone doing contract work at PCA, it’s a 15-20 minute commute to the mill. Cons: My only negative was that the water reservoir of the coffee maker was coated in scale buildup; not a huge deal for me as I’m not a big coffee drinker but I know some people who would find this to be an issue. That said, I would recommend this rental to anyone visiting the Deridder area and I would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Wanda for the hospitality.

Coming from North Pole Alaska was a long way from home but staying in such a comforting place helped the adjustment very well! The air conditioners probably saved our life in the Louisiana heat as well! We even preferred to stay at this place rather than my sisters house because we were all so cozy and it was so peaceful, we LOVED the patio! 10/10 would recommend and will stay here again in the future

I had 3 employees working out of town and the accommodations were perfect. Each person had their own space, did not have to eat out for every meal and had room to move around. The accommodations were very clean. Thank you for giving them a safe, peaceful place to stay for the week.

We loved staying here! It’s a peaceful cabin, you can see the lake from the back porch, super clean area and an awesome host who makes everything so easy! They have EVERYTHING you need in the cabin; lots of room, comfy furniture + beds, towels, pots/pans and outdoor cooking equipment. We’ll definitely be staying again.

Dennise was an outstanding host! She was kind, friendly, helpful, and made my wife and I feel right at home! She let us meet her animals and we had an excellent trip! I would recommend this stay for anyone traveling in the area that is looking for a little piece of Heaven with some peace and quiet to slow down and relax. Best host ever!
