Our trip exceeded all expectations. The home was beautiful inside and comfortable with such high quality amenities. The kitchen has stocked up with any utensils and pans you'd need. The hot tub was great and had a beautiful view to look out at. This is a great place to stay. Highly recommend!

Spent two nights here with my husband. Kari was friendly and the accomidations were great. She had everything we needed to make our meals, even down to the digital thermometer for our steaks. The highlight of our trip was watching eagles fly around while the sun was setting, all while relaxing in the hottub. Not to mention the breathtaking review of the River Valley. Truly beautiful, peaceful and private. We look forward to returning!

The cabin was spotless and decorated beautifully. The location was so peaceful and within a short drive to Lacrosse. We especially loved the hot tub and visits from the dogs (we called them over). Derek was very responsive and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this location.

What a cozy peaceful place to spend our honeymoon was simple and clean had everything we needed. Great place for a peaceful reset, we loved how private the location was. We would definitely love to stay there again in the future!

The cabin is in a beautiful location and the huge front space was so great for the dogs. I really appreciated her ease of check in and her prompt response time. Exactly what we needed! Such beautiful surroundings, cozy, and quiet. We were really impressed with the amenities that Roland provided. Water, dishes, cleaning supplies, firewood - let’s just say we definitely packed for camping but he had so much there. The best part was honestly how friendly and helpful Roland was. He checked in often, gave local recommendations, was terribly friendly and overall made us feel welcome. Would definitely visit again!

Looking for a relaxing weekend with the family with a ton of potential for memories that last a lifetime? Look no further than this hidden gem in De Soto. I've frequently traveled south craving "southern hospitality", little did I know, just a couple hours north had "Midwestern hospitality"! Justin was very responsive initially when asking about his property, very knowledgeable about surrounding activities as well as great watering holes if you catch my drift. The cabin is decorated perfectly and it immediately makes you take a deep breath and smile knowing that you are home. There is plenty of room for you and your family to stretch out, play games, go fishing off of your own private dock, walk to the Rivers Edge and grab a bite to eat (less than a 5 minute walk), etc. If you've got a boat, bring it!! Don't miss out on the local wineries at your stay either! rate 10/5! Can't wait to return!

We had an amazing stay at the cabin. It was so peaceful and secluded. Loved being able to have our dogs with us on this trip as well. We were able to enjoy a fire on our first night and grilled on the second night. We also kayaked the Kickapoo river which was only a few miles from the cabin. We will definitely be back very soon.

7 girls on their 1st ever girls trip to a remote cabin in the woods.... 10/10 recommend! The drive there was beautiful, lots of wildlife to see, even on the property. The cabin is just like the pictures. There are the bare essentials as far as kitchen/bathroom supplies, but this isn't the ritz, its a cabin. There is quite the eclectic taste of knick knacks everywhere throughout the cabin. It was fun fiding different treasures througout the weekend and even sometimes comical. We unfortunately were not able to use the hot tub because it was being replaced but the hosts worked with us on ways to compensate us to make up for it. I've never met Charity but after having one conversation with her on the phone, she felt like my best friend after! We enjoyed reading, walks, plenty of games, Bob Ross paintings on the patio and laughing until we were crying. We only had one close encounter with a rabbit upon our arrival but we all fared well in the end! We will definitely be trying to come back!

The cabin was so cozy, cute, comfortable, & peaceful. The land surrounding it was stunningly beautiful! Such scenic views! We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts responded quickly to our needs. Great communication. The only thing that disappointed us was leaving the place.

3rd time I’ve stayed and I plan to continue to come back in summers to come! I had some minor issues while I stayed and Daniel and Kayla went above and beyond to fix things for me and make things right. They even accommodated a late check out. The deck is by far my favorite part and the view from it is stunning! The cabin is so cozy. If I could stay forever I would! Can’t wait till next summers trip! Thank you Daniel and Kayla for being amazing host!

where do I start, I have been coming to this area for years, so far this is THE BEST house I have been, appsolutely everything is perfect, from location to mattresses that are sooo comfortable, spacious very well equipped beautiful house, fishing right there, absolutely amazing, worth every penny, would come here again and again. LOVED IT

We had a wonderful stay at Connie’s property! The location was ideal. We loved the feeling of staying at a cozy cabin in the woods, but also being able to easily drive into Viroqua for a delicious meal or cup of coffee. We were thoroughly delighted with Viroqua, what a great little town! We had an excellent time exploring Viroqua and the surrounding countryside. I definitely recommend Connie’s property as a cozy retreat and home base for exploring Viroqua.

This was an incredibly peaceful retreat great for a reset! Our host was amazing! We had bad weather days between excessive heat and thunderstorms while we were there. Kari checked in via email almost daily to ensure we were doing alright and had everything we needed. We could not have been more pleased with the surroundings and the hospitality! 20/10 would recommend!

Miss Kitty's cabin felt like the perfect little hideaway. Situated on the side of a hill overlooking the driftless landscape, the view was unbeatable! Inside the cabin was fresh, clean, and decorated so cute. I loved drinking my coffee on the porch and enjoying the sights and sounds of nature. This is a place for rest and relaxation. I recommend bringing a cooler with some provisions and enjoying the peaceful location.
