House vacation rentals in Van Buren County

House was well appointed. Great for a large group. Great location to walk to town and beach. Communication was easy, even with using a third party management company. However, the extra paperwork (listing all guests names and ages, for example), contracts, and use of a second app other than Airbnb were a surprise.

This is our 3rd year in a row to come for an extended Labor Day weekend and bring our kids and/or grandkids. We love the setting. The pool is perfect for the younger kids and the adults appreciate the beauty of all the surroundings, including at poolside. If we could change anything at all we would add another bedroom as we can't quite get all of our extended family here at one time. That said, we would like to return for a 4th year at Labor Day weekend time next year. The combination of beauty, privacy, amenities, condition (always in great shape!), and proximity to lovely South Haven can hardly be beat!

Loved the cleanliness of this place, space and overall comfort feel upon arrival.

Dani’s place was amazing. Even though the weather was bad, we enjoyed the community pool, playing games, watching movies, and exploring the town. Dani was such a great communicator and easy to work with. Their place is incredibly well designed and makes you feel right at home. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Even had beach towels for the pool!! Can’t wait to come back again.

The home is in the middle of the woods off a dirt road. It was quiet and easy to find. The door lock system was a little confusing to me as often the numbers appeared in two bubbles and we didn’t know which one was correct. But we persevered and was able to get in every time. The home was modestly decorated which I appreciated very much. Just enough decor to make it homey but not too much to make it an overload. The floors were pristine clean. I walked in bare feet and the floors had zero debris. The beds were comfy. Well stocked kitchen. The upstairs master bed and bath were both spotless and comfortable. Warm blankets with throw in every bed. Three more bedrooms downstairs. Enough rooms for all of us. Easy to check out. Great home. We found stores nearby for those last minute groceries. Absolutely great home. We all enjoyed it. Comfortable for 5 of us for three days while we attended a wedding nearby.

The house was great. Clean and comfortable. We had 8 of us for a girls weekend and it fit everyone perfect. I was Disappointed there was such a large cleaning fee but we were expected to wash dishes, put them away and have the kitchen counter wiped down. I’ve never been to an Airbnb like that.

I had a few "special requests" and Michele was able to accommodate us without hesitation. The beds were very comfortable and the pool was even better in person! This house is set up like a top notch AirBnB. All the little extras set this house above par.

As always Linda and Kourtney were great. Second time staying here and everything was just as awesome as the first time. Thanks again

The house is very well located, walking distance to downtown and the beach! Great for a family, it matched the pictures and was very clean. Anne's instructions were clear and she was very responsive. Overall it was a very good trip and I would stay here again!

Beautiful home!! Even better than expected! perfect home for a group of people, plenty of space, clean, very close to so many things to do, the backyard is a super fantastic entertainment space with a beautiful view!! we had the best time and Alicia was very responsive, accommodating, and easy to get hold of. Highly recommend this home!!

First time to South Haven and it was a gem! The house was very clean, looks as it does in the pictures, and was well stocked with everything you might have forgotten at home. Communication was prompt and courteous. Definitely with the price. Thank you so much for the opportunity to visit your town and feel as though I was at home while doing so. I hated to leave!!

Inviting and cozy home, perfect for me and my wife to escape for a few days, hang at the beach, and explore South Haven. The place was exactly as described, so clean and comfortable. The 4 seasons room on the deck was awesome, would be great for larger groups than we had, but peaceful and tranquil for some morning yoga. The beach gear was incredible as well, so convenient to only have to pack swimsuits and know that they had everything else there. On one of the nights when the evening lows were going to be chilly, Mickie and John proactively reached out to us to be sure we knew how to turn on the furnace. Can’t say enough about this place and would love to stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Kristine’s home. It is walkable to a beach and downtown for shopping. Van Buren State Park is a short drive away. There is also a paved bike path near the house to ride directly into the state park. We had a great time!

We were very pleased with the home. It was very spacious and had pretty much everything we needed. The "trundle bed" is not a trundle bed by definition of having a mattress that pulls out. We especially appreciated the wagon to pull the kids in, to walk down to the lake. Only downfall was no ventilation in the kitchen and simply cooking bacon caused the alarm to give a warning. We would go there again.

I had a beautiful time and a beautiful home thanks to Mark. Will soon return.

Lou was an amazing host! Great with responding quickly and very friendly. House is in a peaceful setting - you can see the lake, listen to the birds and be relaxed. Nice set up for dog she loved hanging out by the fire with us. House is cozy, fully stocked with cooking gear. Easy to drive to local wineries and come back to the peaceful setting !! Will come back

I have to say thank you, thank you, thank you! After my Airbnb at another property in Michigan informed me that they overbooked and I could not check in until a day later than I anticipated, I was put in a difficult situation, scrambling to find a place that will allow me to stay for one night. Jim was amazing in allowing us to come in and stay at the HollyWoods for the beginning of our trip. I wished I had found his place 2 months ago when I booked our entire week vacation The HollyWoods was far superior to where we ended up for the rest of our vacation. The hiking trails on the property, the fishing pond, the landscaping, the house, the kitchen that included everything you might need, exceeded all my expectations. The HollyWoods turned out to be better than any other Airbnb at which you've stayed. I highly, highly recommend The HollyWoods!

We booked this beautiful home for our annual girls weekend and it did not disappoint! It was the perfect size for 8 of us and so unique and beautiful. We made use of the fire pit, pool table and hot tub. There was a slight plumbing issue but the owners were very responsive and it was taken care of quickly. We had fun exploring and shopping in the area but had the best time just hanging out at the house. Highly recommend!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this rental! It the perfect size and location to all of the shops downtown and very accessible to the beach. The host was very responsive and so helpful with our stay. Highly recommend for a lovely weekend getaway!

Terry provides a clean home away from home for anyone staying in the area. Plenty of activities and every convenience that you need is nearby.
