Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Valdez-Cordova

We had the best experience ! So glad we chose this cozy cabin for our first time here in Alaska and we look forward to returning in the summer. Chris and Karen are incredibly hospitable and thorough in prep of the cabin for cleanliness and comfort. Truly high standard and great people!

We enjoyed our stay at Brittney's cabin! The cabin was cute, clean, comfy, and worked great for our family of 4 (two adults, two 8yr olds) and a dog. Nice big, private outdoor area with beautiful views---lots of space for the kids and dog to run around! We had fun fishing from the dock and loved seeing and hearing the loons.

Denise's cabin was absolutely perfect for our stay! We were the last stay of the season for this year and are already thinking about our next trip to this magical little place. The wood stove, privacy of the cabin, and foggy mornings were our favorite. Golden Saloon was a hoot. Shout out to the locals for some memorable nights.

Best place that we stayed during our two week trip in Alaska. Amazing property with epic views. Incredible hospitality. Immaculate accommodations. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. An authentic Alaskan homestead that is off the beaten path. Loved it! Thank you Hannah and Jan!!

Such a beautiful location! We arrived after sunset so we were surprised of how beautiful the view was the next morning! The views were truly spectacular and we were able to see the aurora lights the first night! Shana even left moose sticks and eggs, my husband and dad loved it! Loved the location since we had tour scheduled to see Matanuska glacier the next day . Also loved that it was dog friendly as we always travel with our dog! Only thing I wish was that the observatory had a heater so we could enjoy that space as well!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The Chalet was perfect for our group of five. Would stay again whenever we come to Valdez.

We enjoyed our stay at Ellyn & Casey’s place. The house was exactly as pictured and had the essentials we needed for our visit to the area. This was the perfect place to stay for our visit to Wrangell-St. Elias National Park as it fell somewhere in the middle between the northern and southern regions of the park. It is located in a very quiet area, but is a bit removed from town if that is something that is important for you (it didn’t bother us at all). Ellyn & Casey were communicative hosts who provided clear check-in/check-out instructions and detailed information for locating the property/cabin. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

This place felt so homey, with a nice big sectional couch and warm pellet stove that felt amazing after long days of hiking or adventuring in the beautiful Valdez area. The beds were comfy and the bathroom very clean. We especially appreciated the welcome gift left for us! Would definitely stay here again.

This is my third stay at this location. I absolutely love it for it’s peaceful and quiet surroundings. I will certainly be back again!
