Cabin vacation rentals in Valdez-Cordova

Mark is the best! He owns the cabins, operates the restaurants and flies the helicopter tours too! Room is clean and enough space for 5 of us. Multiples trails right behind the cabins to explore on your own. He even lends us free bear spray. But the best part is the restaurant next door -- the food is amazing! We had two dinners and one breakfast there and they were so tasty. This place is a gem in glacier view, highly recommend it.

It was a beautiful place to stay and in the morning we saw sheep on the mountain from our cabin. The private helicopter tour was AMAZING. It was an experience I will never forget. Mark was down to earth and knowledgeable about the area. He took us to spots so we saw all that we wanted to. Highly recommend you splurge for a flight.

Loved the place. The price was great. Most hotels are so expensive in Valdez and being able to find a big cabin for so many people at a cheaper price helped us enjoy our trip.(: Thanks so much for everything!

We enjoyed our stay at Brittney's cabin! The cabin was cute, clean, comfy, and worked great for our family of 4 (two adults, two 8yr olds) and a dog. Nice big, private outdoor area with beautiful views---lots of space for the kids and dog to run around! We had fun fishing from the dock and loved seeing and hearing the loons.

Only issue was the TV didn’t work. It was a blessing. Didn’t need it. Kari was responsive and I’m sure it is something small that will be fixed quickly. I would absolutely stay there again.

We stay at this cabin just about every month in the winter on our way to go ice fishing. The hosts are always so flexible and the cabin is always very clean and cozy. It also has everything you need for a nights stay! We absolutely love it and recommend it to all our friends traveling from the Peninsula to Glennallen! Can’t wait for our next stay!

Jeremy’s place was a great place to stay for our winter sled trip to Valdez. Being close to the pass was awesome and Jeremy was super helpful when we asked about other spots to go ride. We were also able to access the river right from the cabin!

Fabulous place to stay in a remote & beautiful place. Sabrina is the best -- an amazing host despite her busy work managing a non-profit. So grateful we found this lovely place in McCarthy!

Great cabin, easy to chat with hosts via text before arrival or up at Currant Ridge once we were there. Hospitality was 10/10 and great advice on how to plan or things to do for your adventures in McCarthy.

A typical no frills Alaskan cabin with great views down river , comfy bed and basic amenities with good shower hut next to cabin . Lovely owners .

Wow! What a place!! Me and my friends enjoyed our stay so much that we want to come back to this place again. This place should definitely win the best hosts award. The house was so beautiful and they put a lot of thought in every aspect. Sharon bought us some amazing home made muffins in the morning which are hands down the best muffins we had. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a magical experience.

Great host. Meets you at check-in and shows property. Helpful if you have special needs. Long time resident with great knowledge of area.

Theresa & Bob made us feel like we were visiting family. "Grandma's place" has an absolutely stunning view. They have taken so much time to make a great things-to-do binder. Their place is extremely comfortable, clean, and beautiful. Alaska is such a big state to visit we didn't mind the extra 10 or 15 minutes of driving to get into town. Lastly, we were lucky enough to see the local family of moose (One cow and two calves) and handful of times and even once a Bull was hanging with them as well even with it being hunting season and most doing a good job of hiding. We will most definitely be checking if this cabin is available the next time we make it up to Alaska. A true gem to find.

The stay in the cabin exceeded expectations. Patrick was very responsive and provided us with info and assistance. The cabin is in walking distance from McCarthy. it's clean and well organized. Patrick was also flexible with the generator and shower times when we had an early dinner appointment.

It was all perfect. The cabin is big and cozy at the same time! It had everything we needed. Norma was a great host, we even had our stay extended for one more night. It was great! I'd recommend! It has an AMAZING view, and we also were able to see the northern lights, fantastic!!!
