It was a fantastic vacation, although it lasted a few days, the house is immersed in the woods, an excellent solution for those who love nature and silence but that at the same time allows you to reach characteristic villages and villages by car, the accommodation is also ideal for those who have dogs, Noa enjoyed the large garden and no longer wanted to leave as well as it was, Anna was always available and kind, attentive to the well-being of her guests as well as Cinzia who welcomed me on the spot in the best way, I recommend Anna's house closed eyes for an unforgettable vacation!

We loved our time at this rustic Tuscan property tucked up under the Castello di Poppiano. It is a large private space with tremendous views. The weather was not optimal for us so we didnt get a chance to stroll through the landscape but were delighted when the cats made an appearance for us. Sara met us to introduce us to the property and did a great job getting us acclimated. We were very comfortable here and the location allowed us to maximize our time in Tuscany and get to the experiences we were looking to have over a 4 day span. The only criticism is that the interior lighting is not very bright and often times was darker than we would would have preferred but that was only a minor concern.

This home is cute, cozy, and comfortable. Part of the old city, but with modern conveniences . It is larger than the pictures suggest. Everything works beautifully. My husband & I spent a week here, so the dishwasher, washing machine, and beautiful garden were a bonus. Our host Christina met us in town and guided us to the home, pointing out various shops, restaurants, and historical places of interest. If you are lucky enough to find this home available, I’d recommend it without reservation. There was nothing lacking for a wonderful stay in beautiful San Gimignano! It’s an ideal place to explore Tuscany, with free parking near the home. Thanks Christine. We’ll be back again someday. Sara

The two of us spent a wonderful week in the very large and beautiful area. Next time four weeks earlier, so that you can take advantage of the many amenities (see Photos in the description) We were spoiled with delicacies. E.g. eggs from our own chickens! The herb garden is enormous! Elda and Fabrizio are a very lovely couple. Communication via the language app was seamless. We felt completely comfortable. But next time at summer time. Thank you dear Elda, dear Fabrizio. We would like to mention the very dear house and farm dog Mario and the totally lovely kittens. We had our own cat with us and there were no problems! Beautiful Tuscany!

The property is conveniently located for visiting the Orcia Valley. Clean and convenient to the country's supermarket. Recommended!

Cristina is the ultimate host! Everything was immaculate and set up for us. We traveled with two young kids, and she was proactively prepared with a crib & high chair. She also had amazing recommendations and answered any questions for us. Led us to a spectacular sunset winery in the hills. The premise has stunning views and hanging poolside in the mountains, was just what the doctor ordered. Highly recommended and makes you feel like family!

The surrounding area is breathraking, with the beauty of Tuscany enhancing every moment. The host was incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to help and ensuring we had the best experience possible. One particularly thoughtful gesture was driving us back to the city center (6 miles away) at the end of our stay, which we truly appreciated. This level of care and hospitality made our trip even more memorable. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and delightful stay in Tuscany!

Giovanna was a wonderful host who was extremely friendly and helpful. If we couldn’t work out something she would immediately come to assist us. The apartment was spacious, and beautifully appointed in lovely Tuscan surroundings.

We felt absolutely comfortable in Lucrezia's house and spent very relaxed Christmas days here. Our dog Alma also had her fun in the generously fenced garden. For us, the heated pool was a highlight. Communication with Lucrezia was very pleasant and friendly, although unfortunately we didn't meet her in person. All in all, we highly recommend the property.

Beautiful villa with a breathtaking view of the valley. Quiet and comfortable even during business days, beautiful large garden and easily usable with magnificent plants! Contacts with the owners have always been very quick and courteous, ready to meet any questions or needs. Great vacation!

God is in the details. Il Grande Prato is a wonderful place that offers you al the comfort you wish : a huge domain with several nice spots to sit, chill and enjoy the great views. The garden, the cottages, the pool, everything is well done with an eye for the details. Giulia and her people are very friendly and helpful and make you feel at ease the whole time. Also the dinners we've enjoyed in this unique setting were fantastic.

This is a lovely place to relax and unwind. It is very peaceful and the garden, swimming pool and outside sitting areas - including a very nice pergola for eating outside - are beautifully kept. The house is comfortable with a good kitchen for cooking. Valentina and her parents are lovely - very welcoming and helpful. Communication is very good. For example, when we had a spell of bad weather, Valentina immediately messaged us with details about the heating and an invitation to use the open fire. Very highly recommended.

The cabin is simply beautiful: inside it is entirely covered in wood, very thoughtful in details, with a nice impeccable fireplace, heating and is equipped with everything you need (even the balsamic vinegar!). The exteriors are very evocative and the view enchanting: it is right on the edge of the woods and several times we have seen deer nearby. It also has scenic loungers, barbecues, and dining spaces outside. A lovely wooden cottage for the kids to finish it all. From this location we have comfortably visited both the Monastery and the Hermitage of Camaldoli, Poppi, and the Santuario della Verna being able to count back on a comfortable and warm space to rest and a well-equipped kitchen. Katy was always accurate and timely in providing us with necessary information about the status of roads and accesses. Upon our arrival we found an excellent welcome tart and even the necessary for breakfast ...what more to say...thank you!

Very good place, at a reasonable price for the saison. The swimming pool is functional and well maintained. Garden and house are more segregated from neighbours' view than they look in the pictures.

Quiet, secluded cottage in the middle of the forest. Everything matches the pictures and the description. They were very nice, relaxed holidays. Even if it was 35 degrees down the coast, it was pleasantly cool at the house. It was a lovely time. The landlords/hosts are very friendly and helpful. The pathway to the house leads via a gravel road, which is a little more difficult to drive on three climbs, but the residents also drive there with their small standard cars. An off-road vehicle is only recommended for the last 100 meters. But you can also leave the car in front of this climb, the hosts help them drive up their luggage, with their car. If you love nature and the forest and are looking for relaxation, this accommodation is just right for you.
