Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Sullivan County

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Jenni's place. It was close to Ricketts Glen which is why we visited. There are two restaurants close by that was helpful. The house is cozy and worked perfectly for our needs. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Thorne Haven was exactly what we hoped it would be and then some. The kitchen had everything we needed (even some things we didn't know we needed...impromptu white gravy with the planned breakfast sausage) and the dining room fit us all (with an amazing view)! The guest rooms were comfortable and private, we had lots of "together" space and plenty of opportunity to step away as well. The activities were endless with something for everyone: the game room(s), the movie and/or reading options, board games, the hot tub, the lower deck, large yard for football/Frisbee/tag and the pond! But I think one of our favorite things was being able to have a fire in the main fireplace every day...so cozy and welcoming (suggest bringing a little of your own wood if you keep it going like we did)! Our family had the ideal get away: from the grandparents right down to the grandchildren & grand dogs! Thorne Haven is truly like a home away from home feeling and we will definitely go back.

Thought we had a small issue with double booking our reservation they quickly jumped ahead of the situation and gave us suitable glamping accommodations. Vanessa was fantastic and very helpful trying to make everything perfect. Will definitely return and enjoyed our trip even more than we expected.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Alison was super responsive to any questions I had. Overnight one night, we received several inches of snow and, before we left the house around 8am the next morning, someone had already come to plow the driveway, which we were extremely grateful for. We are grateful for a great rental in Eagles Mere!

We had such a great time at Mokoma lake that it's tempting to gatekeep it. The rooms were a nice size though not very soundproof. We had mixed weather so it was great to be able to be in a cozy cabin and play games and use the lovely kitchen. The area is secluded so things like coffee shops or convenience stores are a drive, but there are a number of walking paths in the area for easy hikes. The lake is beautiful and really clean. We were there early in the season so didn't get to fully experience the lake since it was so cold but hope to come back in full summer to take advantage of everything the area has to offer.

Really comfortable farmhouse on an amazing property. Quiet, peaceful, and some great vistas. We loved it here and hope to come back soon.

I had one of the most beautiful weekends in this huge and cozy home . Marlon was very responsive and kind , I had a little trouble with the washer/dryer machine and he helped me right away . I’ll definitely come back and I recommend this house 100% . We loved it ❤️

Ran out of towels due to the hot tub, but we were able to get more pretty fast. Everyone running the place was great and respectful of our time and privacy there. There's essential spices and dishes to cook. The hot tub was great, the hosts are great, place is great, worth my money for sure.

A perfect escape with charm, views, and privacy, plus fantastic and responsive hosts. This stay was exactly what we needed. A peaceful, private retreat with breathtaking views and tons of character. The home strikes a beautiful balance between historic charm (an old lumber baron’s home) and thoughtful updates. It’s clear the remodel was done with care, preserving all the right vintage details while adding just enough modern comfort to make it feel like a true getaway. Whether we were enjoying coffee on the large porch with a view or unwinding by the fireplace, it felt like our own little world. We’re already looking forward to making this an annual family event.

The pictures do not do this property justice. Beautiful house, property and furnishings. This is an ideal location for anyone who loves nature and wants to get away from it all. The house is huge, full kitchen plenty of amenities, numerous rooms, very comfortable and spotless. The cherry on top was the host! David is extremely gracious and very accommodating. We are looking forward to returning to enjoy this property more!

We stayed here at our annual Thanksgiving family get together. It was perfectly located to the larger house we always rent but have outgrown. So cozy and comfortable. My granddaughter loved all the toys and books and especially the little sleeping nook for a nap away from the chaos of the main house. Host was so thoughtful and responsive. All beds were very comfortable. House was spotless. Just perfect for our needs. Hope to come back next year

This weekend was just what we needed to relax and recharge. The home was clean and comfortable and very user friendly. Our 12 year-old loved the upstairs loft living area and our dogs enjoyed yard and the many beautiful places to hike near by- the LT, World’s End, and Ricketts are some of the most beautiful places on this earth. The hosts were easy to communicate with and all texts/messaged were answered within 15 minutes of reaching out. We would absolutely return to spend a run away long weekend again!

This simple accommodation worked well for a Labor Day weekend hiking trip in Worlds End and Rickets Glen State Parks. There’s not much going on in Laporte but that didn’t affect us: the kitchenette was well appointed . Apart from a little difficulty getting in the place (digital keypad was a little finnicky) and a little shower head issue, we had no issues and would be happy to return.

Our stay was perfect. The house felt SO clean when we arrived. The views were breathtaking. I sat in the gazebo almost every morning with coffee to watch the sunrise. The photos on the website don't do the house justice. The living/dining/kitchen areas are all open and the layout flows very well. It's incredibly cozy but the high ceilings give it an extra special feel. The landscaping around the house gives you tons of privacy even with the windows and shades open. Highly recommend!!!

Judy was absolutely magnificent from the get go. The property is beautiful and the RV was set up so nicely. The beds were way more comfortable than what I was expecting. We would love to come back for sure and experience each of the different seasons there!

Vortex Cabin is a fantastic stay. This was our second time staying and it somehow got better. Such a beautiful home with amazing property backing up to a beautiful creek. There is a lot of land for pets to run around, the house is secluded and very quiet, and the home is stocked with just about anything you could ever need. And, aside from a few brief cutouts here and there, the internet was pretty fast and reliable during our stay. We really enjoyed fishing (though no catches), making fires, and taking in all of the beautiful nature. Amie is a fantastic host and is always super communicative and responsive. As much as I wish we could keep this cabin our little secret, the truth is I can't recommend it enough.

Adrienne’s place once again is a hidden gem that we’ve stayed at 3 times now and we always love it. Location is perfect and she is a very responsive host. Absolutely recommend.

My husband and I have stayed here many times before and we've always loved it. it's in a great location, beautiful back road scenery for drinking coffee in the mornings and great communication from the host. Thank you again for having us!
