Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Sugar Mountain

Cozy space , very close and convenient to outings. Luckily there wasn’t snow to drive up the mountain, it can get foggy tho but nothing that can’t be handled with safety. Definitely recommend :)

Absolutely perfect spot for a ski getaway. We had a blast at Beech Mtn and loved being able to snuggle up next to a real fire after a wonderful day of skiing

This place was peaceful with beautiful views. We loved getting to sit outside on the balcony in the morning and drink coffee and read. It was lovely getting to open the windows and let the breeze come in through the screens. Also it is the PERFECT location if you are attending a wedding at the Overlook Barn.

This was our fifth time staying at one of DJ’s properties. The cottage had everything we needed. It is a short drive to Blowing Rock and Boone and within walking distance of The Gamekeeper restaurant. We always enjoy our stay at Yonahlossee and can’t wait to go back!

Stacia’s space was lovely and just what my partner and I were looking for during our weekend snowboarding getaway. I’ve stayed in a few different units at this particular complex, and Stacia’s is easily my favorite so far. The place is stocked with just about anything you could need, and the outdoor porch has a perfect view of the Beech Mountain slopes. Stacia was very kind and communicative, and I’m so grateful that she shared her home with us. Will definitely be on the lookout for this spot when planning future snowboarding trips!

The place was amazing and comfy, my family loved the view from the apartment and we spent a great time in Grandfather Mountain! The host was very kind and really helpful. We’d love to rent this place again in the future — (10/10)

Great place to stay in a beautiful area.

Condo was very comfortable and spacious. Updates to an older unit made it feel really modern. The only FYI I would provide is that each room has a wall heater, which is nice to keep it cozy, but they can be a little loud compared to central heating. The pool/common area was well maintained, obviously older, but in good shape. We would definitely stay again. Host was really responsive to questions.

Very attentive host and even though I made the reservation at the last minute when I arrived my car was already registered at the security guardhouse and the apartment was impeccable and has a unique view of Sugar Mountain!

We had a great stay at Ron’s place! The condo was spacious, quiet, and had beautiful views of Beech Mountain and the ski resort. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. Would definitely book again!

My buddy’s and I have an amazing time this weekend snowboarding and this Airbnb was part of what made this last weekend so great. Affordable, cozy, and warm. Also, very close to both mountains to snowboard which is awesome!

This is our second time at this cabin and it is one of favorite places. Susan even put up a Christmas tree which was wonderful. Will be back!

We booked this house last minute, on the drive up, after our previous booking was damaged in a storm. Check in was easy and the place was ready to go. The house itself was a lot of fun. We enjoyed the workout area, hot tub and tons of games as well as a 3 minute drive to the ski resort. It was everything we were looking for.

Really enjoyed our stay. The place makes you feel at home. Very convenient to everything you need. Will be back!

We stayed for App State graduation and had 5 guests who stayed very comfortably. We also hosted a few friends of my sons and had a great time cooking out and hanging in the driveway where we played corn hole.

Had another enjoyable week at Ross’s Retreat. So much room to relax and enjoy the beautiful lake & Mountain View’s. The 2 kayaks always a plus. Hopefully will be back again next year. Thanks again.

Great place to stay even in the winter ! Walk to the gym and clubhouse or take a short drive to the indoor pool. Great location for skiing or trails, or a quick trip to Blowing Rock.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin! It was just the two of us, but a large family or a few couples would easily enjoy the space. The views were great, the hosts were responsive and kind, the hot tub was huge, the home itself was beautiful and spacious. We are very thankful to have found this cabin at the lastttt minute after a cancellation from another host. Feel very blessed this is where we ended up for a nice weekend away to spend some time together. 11/10 would recommend!
