I highly recommend staying with Paoli&Silvi! the room is very clean, climatic and nice. Paola is a great woman who takes care of guests. Communication was very good in English. We were often accompanied by a friendly kitty Felix too 🐈 Nothing to add :)

We had very relaxed days in the beautiful Refugio of Miriam, in a fantastic location on the mountain. Getting to the cabin is steep and tight and a challenge for vehicle and driver, but rewards with a quaint, tastefully designed cabin, in cozy clearing and rippling creek. The cabin is quietly located, but not lonely. It is located on a path used by hikers, bikers or even the friendly neighbors from the nearby hamlets. It is well equipped, self-sufficient and the electricity and hot water supply worked perfectly. The surrounding area invites you to hike and bike tours. Due to the topography and the designated trails, the tours are more suitable for the discerning mountain biker. Down the lake, which can be reached in a good 20 min, we were able to take beautiful kayak tours and enjoy the wonderful water. It was a very active but incredibly relaxed holiday for us in an original environment.

A lovely spacious apartment with beautiful views over the lake. In addition to the apartment, you can use an enclosed staircase to a private beach, wonderfully quiet. In the kitchen, everything is available to cook for yourself if you want and there is a lovely lounge sofa. The mattresses on the beds are fine and the shower and whirlpool make it complete. Francesco explains very well where the apartment is and where you can park and is super friendly. You can always reach him if necessary. For the disabled, this apartment is a challenge, as there are several stairs in the house and you have to go down a sloping slope to the front door. But I give this location and apartment a big 10!

We loved staying at the Villa. The home has some really outstanding views and lovely outdoor spaces to enjoy them! The location is very quiet and peaceful. We appreciated how clean the house was and how responsive the host was. Also, the video of exactly how to get in which doors/gates with which keys was SO helpful - if you have ever stayed anywhere in Italy you know the entrances can be complicated! A few things to note - while the kitchen is very well stocked for cooking, the linens in the house are VERY sparse. We stayed for 5 days and were provided just one towel and hand towel, and one dish cloth. I would pack an extra towel to stay here especially considering use of outdoor spaces. The washer does not work and also soap is not provided so it is not possible to use either way. The WiFi is also very poor quality. It barely works on the TV and don’t expect to connect a device. The coffee machine is not a filter pot and was not very good, but a stovetop pot is provided.

We loved our stay in Tremezzo at Emanuela’s place. The apartment has wonderful views and is convenient to many restaurants, hikes, and the ferry. Emanuela is a wonderful host who was so kind and helpful throughout our stay!
