Vacation rentals with lake access in South Bass Island

Very nice updated place. Host is communicative and took care of us during our stay. Would definitely stay again.

My family and I stayed here for a weekend and had the most relaxing experience. Waking up to the sunrise over the lake was so beautiful. The house has so much to enjoy as well. Our kids loved the theater room and the whole family enjoyed playing the games in the garage. The house was so spacious and is great for a little getaway! Bert was also a wonderful host and very responsive. We would stay here again in the future!

What more could you ask for? Oh yeah- for it to never end. Michael’s home is more than that, it’s a sanctuary of serenity, paired with some of the most gorgeous views Lake Erie has to offer. Spacious, clean, and private. Last but not least- a bird aficionados paradise, the most exciting bird of the weekend a Baltimore Oriel. Would recommend this place 10/10 times.

I've been to a few different condos in this complex the past few years when I visit that area due to its proximity to Magee Marsh and have always enjoyed staying there but I think this condo was my favorite. It's right on the canal, and I loved the decor inside the condo. The vibe was very much like a ship on the lake to me. Very cool!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Rock House! The home has a very unique natural rock exterior and an updated and very comfortable interior. We can't recall staying at a place that provides so much for the guests. We didn't have to buy any supplies for our stay. We literally had everything we needed. And the home is full of windows so you can take in the beautiful neighborhood, the quaint park across the street, and even a good view of Lake Erie. The appliances and furniture were in great shape and the mattresses were very comfortable. Also, the checkout process is probably the easiest we have ever experienced. We can't say enough good things about this place. We loved The Rock House and would stay here again if we ever return to the area.

This home is beautifully decorated, clean and well stocked with everything you would need. We loved our stay and if we return to Sandusky, we’ll definitely stay again!

Joe and Kelly's " Our Happy Place" is a perfect getaway! Our family of 3 truly enjoyed our 6 nights there. We plan to make this our stopping place when we visit Cedar Point. Pros: close to everything, comfy furniture, fluffy large towels, extras, luxury living, beautiful surroundings, a stone's throw from the beach! our hosts were super friendly and helpful, more like a concierge service than anything else! Negatives: We had to leave & go home! Thank you both for a lovely visit. Looking forward to our next one.

It was a great place to stay for what we needed. Perfect size for a small group. The only thing was that the lockbox was hard to get into. It took us 10+ minutes and a few YouTube videos to get into it. The bathroom is tiny tiny, but there is a large mirror in the bedroom that is good for getting ready. If you go in early summer, be aware of the mayflies. Not the host's fault at all, but a large amount made their way inside the house and gave us a scare. They are harmless, though. Overall, it was a comfortable place to stay.

Dodge House is a historic property that has been in the family for generations. Weather and age takes its toll, but it has been carefully modernized (central A/C!) for the comfort of guests without it losing its Victorian charm. Wonderful people with lifetimes of stories about the island. Great location just around the corner from downtown, yet far enough away from the fray for a peaceful stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at Lisa's place. It exceeded our expectations - it was a clean and peaceful space with everything we needed close at hand. The bed was very comfortable and supportive, and the shower was nice and hot. Lisa was easy to contact and so friendly. She responded promptly, although we only needed to reach out during check in and check out - we didn't have any questions or issues during our stay due to the clear instructions she provided! All in all, a wonderful stay. We're hoping to return next year! Thank you so much, Lisa.

Easy to find, instructions were spot on. Furnishing were super nice. Great place to stay if you want to walk the sites in Sandusky, or walk to the jet express for put in bay. We very much enjoyed our stay. Sandusky is very underrated.

Great stay at The Sunbird! Great location for access to Ottawa NWR and Magee Marsh for birding. Condo was well equipped with many supplies. Great communication and easy instructions were very much appreciated.

Excellent location if you’re going fishing. There’s not a lot of other lodging closer to Marinas. Parking is next to the building and one block away from most restaurants on the main drag. The rooms and the kitchen and the bathrooms were in great shape.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was comfortable, peaceful, had a great view and was walkable to great food, coffee and entertainment. The amenities were also great!

As soon as you walk in the place smells amazingly clean!!! Very cozy, well stocked with coffee, snacks, coffee, tea. I did not help myself to anything as I had stopped in the restaurant down the street and had already eaten dinner before I checked in but a lot to choose from!!! The bathroom was stocked as well lots of towels and all toiletries you can possibly think of including makeup towels. Everything you will find in a hotel. If you. Happened to forget something no worries they have it !! Everything is very thoughtfully put together. Very impressed!! Thanks for sharing your place !!

The house was incredibly cozy and we enjoyed our stay. We plan on going to cedar point often this summer and hope to be able to stay here again. 10/10 would recommend!

Trace & Angie’s home was so beautiful and we absolutely loved that it was walking distance to the Lake access. Their home was exactly as listed and even exceeded our expectations. Communication was a breeze and they were ever so gracious and accommodating. Can’t recommend them enough!

Absolutely loved staying here with family for my dad and I bday week. The views are worth it. Highly recommend and would come back!

The place matches everything about the description and the hosts were very easy to communicate with. We stayed during the late fall so it was quiet and peaceful and the lake view is amazing.

Cottage is gorgeous and has amazing views of the lake with plenty of seating outdoors and in. We loved walking down the beach and sitting by the water with our morning coffee. Joan was very friendly and even reached out to check on us when she heard we had car trouble while on the island.

The air b and b was extremely beautiful. The view of the lake is phenomenal! You get your own little private beach/lake and they have a fire set up, they have a park for kids it’s small but will keep them plenty busy. The location has the best view ever. The house was very clean and everything felt at home except on an amazing vacation. I HIGHLY recommend couples, or family friendly
