Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Smallwood

We stayed 2 nights at Bob and Jackie's place with our 2 kids. The apartment was clean and prepared for our arrival which we really appreciate (an extra bed was already made for our kids to sleep). There was enough space for the 4 of us, the kitchen is fully equipped too. Although it was raining heavily during our stay, we could enjoy our time outside because of a little covered area on the back of the building with a view to the woods and a grill that we enjoyed using as well. Thanks Bob and Jackie for a nice and peaceful stay!

Anthony and Marica were great hosts. the house was warm and welcoming! the town was cute with things to do within a 10min drive. would stay here again.

Nice area compared to other blocks a short distance away. Felt safe and secure. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in the area. Older place well kept. Conveniently close to very quaint town of beacon.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was more than we expected. Emily was very responsive and the check-in process was seamless! I would stay there again! Oh and the location is literally 5 mins from LEGOLAND which helped since we traveled over 4hrs from MD!

My gf and I love this location. I am a local and when she comes to visit we rent this place! Its so nicely decorated and I love the brick walls. The apartment also offers little extras like shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There are little containers with floss sticks, q tips and cotton pads. They also have complimentary coffee pods which is a blessing haha. The owners are so responsive and friendly I will book here every time my gf comes to visit! Thank you for a great stay in the heart of this adorable town!

I cannot say enough great things about this place! Was beautiful and welcoming, peaceful and quiet. The host literally thought of EVERYTHING! I mean, he has creamer for your coffee in the fridge! He has makeup wipes in the bathroom! I truly felt at home and I would stay again in a heartbeat!

Thank you to Heidi for hosting my family in her beautiful Airbnb. They went to New York to visit a sick relative and she made their stay a welcomed retreat from the hospital. If we ever need to go back to this area of New York we will definitely ask to stay at this Airbnb. Thank you again for your hospitality.

Gabrielle is an amazing host. Great communication & super friendly we felt at home immediately. Place super well stock for cooking and coffee in the morning. Super clean, roomy - better than photos. She had amazing recommendations for supper by the water. You can use the wrap around balcony for an after supper chill. One of my favorite Airbnbs.

Patti's home exceeded every expectation! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the thoughtful design and stunning architecture. The house is beautifully crafted with soaring high ceilings, an airy and light-filled interior, and countless thoughtful touches that made our stay feel truly special. The location couldn't be better - we were perfectly positioned for amazing hiking adventures and discovered some incredible restaurants nearby. Her local knowledge was invaluable and really enhanced our entire experience. Speaking of Patti, she is an absolutely wonderful host! Communication was seamless from booking through checkout - she was incredibly responsive, easy to reach, and genuinely helpful with every question we had. This home is a true gem, and Patti is the kind of host that makes Airbnb special. We can't wait to return! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a perfect getaway in Ulster County and the surrounding region.

We had a wonderful time with our family at this place. The beds and pillows were so comfortable and the place was super clean. Everything is well stocked and arranged, a truly cozy and homey place to unwind with loved ones! Close drive to outlets, Warwick and Patterson!

The house is gorgeous. The upstairs bathroom has a bidet. There is a 24 hour farm store close by with eggs, milk and other goodies as well as a bunch of goats who are as adorable as puppies and let you pet them. The only complaint I would have is that the upstairs and downstairs bedrooms are not at all sound proof, as in you can hear what the people downstairs are saying from the upstairs bedroom. So I would recommend people being on similar schedules. The kitchen was very bare bones (salt and pepper basically). I loved the laundry facilities. The huge dining room table comfortably seats 6 people. You can hear the river from the front porch which is soothing. The nearest grocery store and wine store is in Margaretville. There is no phone service in the area for our phones so we relied a lot on the home wifi which works great.

Our stay at Marcel’s was amazing. Everything looked exactly as posted and described. Marcel sent very thorough information and instructions for use of everything. The beds were truly the most comfortable beds ever! We had the best sleep. There was so many items in the kitchen to use and condiments in fridge etc. The wood burning stove was the perfect part to the weekend. We didn’t use the hot tub but it looked beautiful. We did notice mice droppings around the house, mostly in the kitchen but we were made aware of that prior. We just made sure to keep all food away- no issue there! Our two dogs enjoyed the stay as well.

Yall!!!! We loved staying here. Felt like home (but with a movie theatre and arcade haha). Plenty of room to spread out. Don’t be like me and read all the print lol. Location was great. Woodsy. Right next to a state park with trails. Close enough to get to anything in 30-45 mins.

Everything about Ed's place was perfect for our stay while moving my son into The Culinary Instituteof America. The property was nice, the home was beautiful and super clean! Ed was welcoming and helpful with local restaurant recommendations and other amenities in the area. A vehicle accident in the area knocked out power for a couple hours and Ed was quick to let us know what happened and be sure we had flashlights and candles. 10 out of 10, we would definitely stay here again!

Cindy's home was immaculate -- we appreciated one of the home rules being no outdoor shoes on in the house! We are big coffee drinkers so we also enjoyed the variety of K-Cups that we had to select from -- we felt right at home. Cindy's home is in a very quiet, safe neighborhood and it is very close to all of the stores in downtown Honesdale. We were so pleased with our stay that we have already been in communication with her about some future dates when we visit NEPA again!

I have been to many places but this house was top notch I'm glad I got to stay there with my family. everyone was very happy with the property. I would like to stay in the summer as well

Paul's place was a much better alternative to the pricier hotels over Memorial Day weekend. Effectively a ski condo, it works just fine off-season as a hotel competitor. We had no issues finding the location and getting into the apartment. Everything was as described, and we had no issues. One possible negative is the lack of reasonable dining in the area (plus most restaurants were BYOB, which I thought unusual). We ended up going to a place called The Glenwood, a couple miles away. I have no issues recommending Paul's place to other folks in need of a room in Vernon.

The place was great and just as pictured/described. Joann gave great instructions and was very responsive. We were only there for a short stay for a race, but it looked like a great area I would’ve loved to explore if we had more time. The only thing I didn’t care for was the requirement for to wash and dry all towels before leaving. Since I already paid a hefty cleaning fee that seemed like a bit much. And the washer/dryer is small so this took a couple of loads to get done.

Me and my fiance travel often to Vernon for the Mountain Creek bike park. Joe's place was a beautiful place to stay and we will be returning many times over the summer. I loved the decor!! Thank you. Celeste Kreidel

Very comfortable loft and beautiful mountain area. Host was very responsive and the home was clean with plenty of amenities.

Massimo was the absolute best and sweetest, honest, helpful, generous, considerate person I’ve ever worked with on here. His home was so beautiful, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. He even provided snacks, water, and mash mellows and graham crackers along with the sticks if we wanted to use the onsite bonfire. He thought of everything down to little candy in trays, chocolates , probably the best bed I’ve ever slept in. There was not 1 thing about this trip I could complain about. I bragged to my friends who came over how amazing he was even at responding when I got lost. I’ve recommended him to a few people already so I hope he gets an abundance of business. It was worth every penny. He is an exceptional host and person. I will make it back to stay again. If you’re looking for pure comfort and ease don’t waste a burger second and book !
