Roff Home has welcomed fascinating residents throughout its 150+ year history, from Spiritualist founders Asa and Dorothy Roff to aviator Katherine Clifton, who built her own airstrip here in the 1940s. The home gained national attention in 1879 as the site of "The Watseka Wonder," documented as America's first recorded case of spiritual healing, which continues to intrigue visitors and researchers today.
More recently, our Victorian villa has become a magnet for creative minds, hosting independent films like "Whispers of the Witching Hour" and music videos by Chicago band Belmont.
