It also sits on the old road that went from Shelbyville to Vandalia back in the "dirt road" days. Today the corner's roads are called Co. Road 1005 North and Illinois State highway 128.

Bring the whole family to this great place. We are 15 min. from Lake Shelbyville and 25 min. From Effingham. We have a crib, high chair and changing table with a nursery off the master bedroom. Roku or Amazon TV's in the bedrooms. Simply log into your favorite streaming apps. Plenty of games, toys and movies!! Everyday supplies in the kitchen and a huge deck out back with a fire pit and flat grill. Close to many towns and only an 90 minutes from St Louis.

The property is perfect. Lots of space to accommodate several guest and trailers if you brought them with. Large "barndominium " style home offers a beautiful home with clean bathrooms, great kitchen and relaxing living room. Out back is a gorgeous patio with grill, fire pit and large backyard. The front half of the home, the "garage", is full of things to do. Pickleball, bags, and ping pong just to name a few. The owners are just plain good people and it was pleasure to meet them during our stay. We will definitely be back again to this hidden gem.

Got to play only nine holes at the golf course due to weather but it was fun.Very peaceful.Can’t speak to that when the RV park fill up during the summer.Door that connects to the golf clubhouse through the living room was a little strange when we could hear them doing a few things.Must be the office.Very infrequent though and no problem.Beautiful area.Very clean.Great TV and wi fi.Definitely stay again.Deborah seems very nice.Kuerig coffee maker, so I would bring my own coffee maker if you drink lots like we do. All in all a great stay.

Dan & Shelby were incredible host. We felt like they cared about our visit and wanted us to find the best fishing spots on the lake. They were extremely friendly and offered for us to reach out to them for anything that we might need. Great Vacation. We would highly recommend this home

A gentleman was there as we arrived. He made sure we had everything we needed and told us to get a hold of them if everything was not available to us. Very friendly to deal with. The place was quiet in the country. Plenty of room for us and comfortable arrangements. Checking in and out was very easy and clear instructions.
