Shasta County vacation rentals

Becky's place/local worked perfect for the holidays. Everything we needed was available. Especially liked having set up for an infant. The pack and play and high chair was perfect. The decor was lovely and nice to have a Christmas tree ready and waiting for arrival. Although not much time was spent at house as had to leave a day early. Becky was kind enough to allow us early check in to set up a few things for kids arrival. There were a few issues but all worked out.

My family, and I had a wonderful stay here. The house is very comfortable, clean, and spacious. The neighborhood is very quiet. Bedrooms have comfortable beds with plenty of space. Bathrooms are spacious and very clean. We appreciated the extra towels. My son enjoyed the open space, and was very happy here. Highly recommend this place for your next trip. The host was in constant communication. Overall this was a great place away from home.. we had a wonderful experience here!

From the moment we walked into Kam & Nitu’s space we knew peace and serenity was in store. The views are unmatched and the silence is golden. We loved hiking down to the lake and playing pool in the evenings. We cannot wait to return this summer. Our kids were sad to go!

We had such a wonderful time in Motts Cottage! We decided to stay an extra night because the sitting and the cottage was exactly what we needed and expected. The cottage made us feel as if we were living in another time even though we enjoyed the TV, the spirit of the place, including the river, the ranch and big sky felt like we were part of settling the place many, many years ago. If I were a writer Mott's cottage is just the place I would go for peace and quiet and inspiration.

Modern cottage with 2 bedroom, comfortable beds. Plenty of closet space, functional kitchen with all you need. Love the bathroom with a large walk-in shower. Washer and dryer very convenient. Definitely, I will stay again. Josh is very prompt to any questions.

This place is simply amazing! From the moment we stepped inside, we felt like we were right at home. It’s surrounded by nature - a river, mountains, and trails. They even have mountain bikes for us to use at the ranch. The rec room is packed with fun activities to keep the little ones entertained. We had an incredible time! Debbie and Jake were fantastic hosts! Hope to be back soon!

The house was nice. Living room furniture (one of the sitting areas needs replacing) otherwise it was fine and comfy. It accommodated our family gathering. Due to rain and having indoor furnishings outside, the patio was unusable with mold on pillows. The jacuzzi was great and felt wonderful. The video game machine was a nice addition (especially with a 7 year old) even the adults enjoyed it. I would recommend having extra blankets for guest, we couldn’t find any in the house. The host and staff were easy to work with and responsive.

We came up to retreat #5 for a mens weekend getaway and the house did not disappoint. The porch looks right over the lake with some great seating to sit and play games or eat and relax. The living, dining and kitchen are spacious and laid out in a way that keeps you focused on all of the sliding glass doors giving you that great view of the lake. There is plenty of room to spread people out in the 3 bedrooms and the decor is really cool. The water was only about a 2 minute walk from the house making it a great location. I would highly recommend this for a getaway.

Stayed here again for our New Year’s travels. Scott, Julie, and Kaitlin were all very communicative. They made sure checking in was very easy and quick which was perfect for our needs. The cabin was clean and welcoming. It was a quick stay for us, but we wish we had been able to stay longer. The Basshole back in town is something that should not be missed - good pub food, and they are always very friendly when we stop by. We stopped and picked up food on the way in, and it worked out perfectly.
