Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Shadyside, Pittsburgh

Mimi had everything in perfect order for our small group that came in for the US Open and location was perfect! The beds were all very comfortable and all accommodations were new and in great shape. The kitchen was beautiful and we had everything we could have ever asked for during our stay. We would recommend this location and house for any group looking to visit Pittsburgh. Short trips into the city and a very quiet space just outside of it. Lots of great bars, restaurants, and stores just a short walk away. Thanks! Charles V

Great location, easy to walk to things and close to several bus stops. The place itself was accurate to the description, clean, and had everything I needed for a two week stay.

Julie's house was perfect for our needs. Very walkable! But, if you decide to park your car and head downtown for a night out, Ubers are VERY easy to find. We had a great time!

We had a great time at Nell's place. It is a very cute property in a quiet neighborhood. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops within walking distance or a short drive. The property itself was very clean and felt very welcoming. I would definitely stay at Nell's place again.

This Airbnb is a good value for a basic room within Pittsburgh city limits. The neighborhood is quiet, the room is clean and comfortable, and the entrance and bathroom are for your use only. I used both Lyft and public transport to get all around Pittsburgh. The host, Andrey, was prompt to respond to messages and provided detailed instructions for an easy check in.

My father and I stayed here during the US Open weekend, and highly recommend this place. It was perfect for us because my dad could stay in the room with the bed and I used the convertible couch bed. It was clean, Laura was extremely clear with all aspects of the place, (all of the pictures were extremely helpful to see beforehand), and it is a great location. Street parking was always nearby, and we were easily able to load and unload right by the entrance. If you are considering multiple airbnb locations in Pittsburgh, I would say your search is over. Book this spot before someone else does! David

Great location and friendly building and surroundings.

It was very peaceful. Host was very kind. Not far from Carnegie Mellon University at all- only a 1/2 mile walk.

Really lovely AirBnB in an old victorian house. Comfortable beds, great shower, and a friendly host. Well equipped and no issues at all. The neighborhood is great- very walkable/bikeable, playgrounds for kids, lots of good restaurants and fun shops. We’d happily stay here again if we come back to Pittsburgh. Thanks!

I’m in Pittsburgh 2x per month for business. This is the 5th Airbnb I have tried and this is a winner! Great location, easy to access and lots of parking available. The apartment had everything I needed, clean updated bathroom and super comfortable bed. Will stay the next time I visit. Excellent value for the money.

Michelle and her dad, Mike, were great hosts! Their apartment is roomy and well equipped. It was a good fit for a family of three, but I wouldn't recommend it for two couples as there's only one bathroom (with a great shower). It's got plenty of workspace, including a full desk, and the underground parking was easy to access. I'd recommend this apartment highly and would be happy to stay there again. Thanks for a great stay in the 'burgh!

Hosts were super responsive and even though the unit was close to busier parts of the city, it was super quiet and peaceful. We would love to stay here again next time we find ourselves in Pittsburgh!

This is the third or fourth time we have stayed at Kelly Jane’s in Wilkinsburg, Pittsburgh It is near our daughter, granddaughter and son-in-law’s which is why we chose it to begin with. But we also loved the apartment—2 bedrooms and it is very clean, pretty quiet, and extremely well furnished. It is probably the best equipped rental I have ever seen. Everything you would need is provided. She has thought of everything. She is always responsive in communications and her instructions are clear. My sister stayed with us here for the first time and she thought it was great too. We really enjoyed our stay.

This place was very clean and beautiful. The parking is right underneath the building and there is a starbucks right in the building. There is also a bar and restaurant in the same building under Marriott hotel. It is very convenient and we enjoyed ourselves. The host is very responsive if you need anything. Thanks for hosting us. I would definitely come back.

This is truly charming. Beautifully decorated and very clean. I love toys were provided for my little grandbabies. The only complaint I have is I wish time would have allowed us to stay longer.
