Scottish Highland Castle, Blackcraig Garden Apt

MartjeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a fantastic stay at the castle. The property was easy to find and the area is beautiful and quiet with forest and fields all around, easy for walks. There is also lots to do in the area, we went clay pigeon shooting close by which was lots of fun. We stayed at the garden cottage which was cosy and had everything we need. The living room with portable dining table was a great use of space and good for family diner and board games. We would love to return and stay again. Thank you for hosting us!

East Lodge

AlexanderRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
The lodge was unbelievably beautiful and the pictures don’t do it justice. Felt like a dream and the host was great. Made sure we had what we needed for a peaceful and pleasant stay. Probably one of the best views we’ve had while enjoying our breakfast. Would absolutely recommend East Lodge and will have to come back

The Old Brewhouse at Bamff Ecotourism

CiaranRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had the most wonderful time in this beautiful place. The Old Brewhouse was lovely - very comfortable, cosy and homely. The surrounding gardens and estate are stunning and the chance to watch the wild beavers at work was incredibly special. It is also a brilliant area for birdwatching. We didn't use our car at all - just went on a variety of walks from the cottage. We would love to go back again. Thank you!

Gorgeous and peaceful setting, lovely hosts, really we had the perfect stay! Convenient for day trips to the islands, Fort William, Oban, and other beautiful spots when you want to come back to a cozy retreat. Traveled with 2 teenagers who also fell in love with the Tower, plus walks to Kilchurn Castle, St Conan’s Kirk, and especially the Kirk’s tearoom where new owner Christine does a fantastic lunch and tea with scones. Six stars all around!

Kinclune House & Annex luxury mansion, Angus Glens

SandroRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The property is truly extraordinary. Breathtaking natural scenery and great value for money. Simply the perfect place to switch off. Admittedly, the property is a bit off the beaten track. But there is pure nature. We were four couples, so eight people, and we still had a spare bedroom. We saw countless rabbits, wild deer, pheasants and squirrels. Then of course there are all the horses, cows and sheep from the farm. it doesn't get much more idyllic than this! Within a radius of 15 minutes to 1.5 hours by car, there are lots of great activities to do. We were there in end april and to our surprise there were very few to no other tourists in the area. Even at attractions such as Belmoral Castle, Glamis Castle or Dunnottar Castle the crowds were really small. The region is definitely far away from over-tourism. Car hire is certainly a must-have. We drove here from Edingburgh. About half of the journey is motorway, after that it's country road. My warmest recommendation - go there!

The Pod - Urban Retreat, NITB app. Near Belfast

JanineRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Overall, our stay in Belfast with Dora and Brendan was wonderful. Very cosy facilities, comfortable bed and modern appliances with the added bonus of a swimspa, hot tub and smoke house. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive and went over an above to assist us when we had some personal issues arise. The space is small but comfortable - but important to note would only really suit a couple as there is no kitchen sink, small bathroom and small mini-fridge. Would highly recommend.

Craigston Castle, experience our family home

DavidRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Doing a family tour of Scotland with 10 (& 1/2) members, we were looking for an authentic Scottish experience when we found Craigston Castle. Craigston was immensely impressionable for all of us, from the warm greeting at the door to the sharing of the Urquhart family history, we felt at home immediately after opening the car door to enter through the grand foyer. Our host was far more attentive than what we are used to on our stays & should merit a separate very lengthy review ,5 stars of course. So much to do on the grounds, & i wish we had more time to completely canvas the whole estate. I feel we all got a good idea of the daily life of the earlier Scotsmen (aside from the updated plumbing). We were all amazed at simply having dinner in the same rooms as the early Urquharts & associates . I can't really explain in this short review what we all received from this short stay, but i guarantee none of us will ever forget it. Experience of a lifetime. Thank you for having us.

Apartment on the shores of Loch Ness

KamlaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This place is quite special: the Apartment is in the oldest Part of the converted Abbey. It is very large, nicely furnished with extremely comfortable sofas and beds and has a very nice kitchen and bathroom. But this isn‘t all, there is the swimmingpool, gameroom etc. that you can use - even though the place was pretty full we hardly saw other people and did not hear anything from them in the flat. The absolut greatest thing about the place is it’s location right on the Loch Ness, tranquill and beautiful.

Monastery 17

AmyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a lovely few days our apartment. As described in the photos, but you are there for the location and the ease to some great local attractions. The view of the Loch is stunning and Fort Augustus is a lovely town. We are at the Boathouse one night - can’t complain had an amazing beef stew. Pool was lovely, and my daughter enjoyed the adventure playground and general grounds. Was met by Jessica on arrival who have had all the instructions we needed. We were in Apartment 17 which was up quite a few sets of stairs so if your mobility is not the best bare that in mind - does have an amazing view of the Loch from flat. Recommend the Loch Cruise and chip shop by the petrol station. We had a great stay, no complaints here

It’s a great place to have “the full experience”, it’s amazing with nice views from all the windows including the top of the tower. It is very clean, modern and at the same time medieval. We love it! Suite Witch

SarahRating, 5 stars5 months ago
This place is beautiful. The beds are comfortable and the place is clean. The bedrooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floor with a very thin, small staircase. Parking is convenient in front of the building. The location is very remote, with nothing in walking distance and difficult to get to/from the town, which I wish I had known prior to booking. However, we made the most of it and the house itself is beautiful and matches the photos.
