Farmstay vacation rentals in Scotland

Perfect for our short one night stay. Easy to find with google maps using coordinates provided. Super friendly, kind hosts. Age appropriate games/ books and other bits were left out and shown to the children on arrival. Lovely breakfast welcome pack was also there for us. Good sized parking space right outside the door to the property. Thank you A & C!

A lovely cottage in a perfect location for us visiting family. Better suited to adults/older children because of the stairs and the kitchen/living area being one, so cooking a challenge with small children. Otherwise, clean, well appointed and adjacent to a farm shop with a cafe that has a terrific range of delicious bakes.

A beautiful place to stay inside and out. The views were breathtaking! Our little dogs loved playing in the garden which was well fenced (even our mischievous Westie couldn’t find a way to escape!) The fire was such a nice touch, we loved having fires each day. Wood was supplied if you didn’t use the heating which was great! Coming from a city we don’t have a fire so happy to not use the heating! Kate was so responsive and really friendly. We even had some fresh eggs from her hens which was so lovely. We were thrilled to see the property in snow on our last night/day it really just rounded off our stay perfectly! If you are thinking about booking..do it! Also the shower is great! (Always something I judge! Haha) Can’t wait to rebook!❤️

Very cosy chalet with wood burning stove. Paddy and Catherine are lovely people who made sure the place had toys for our toddler and had the fire going for our arrival.

The cottage was lovely and spacious with a nice little log burner in the living room with plenty of fire wood provided. Tending to the chickens and collecting fresh eggs was a highlight. Jane is friendly and helpful and provided excellent local recommendations.

Everything was perfect. Bruce and Jean were welcoming and helpful. It's a lovely cozy cottage in a stunning place. We certainly hope to book again.

I recently stayed at this charming cottage, and I couldn't have been more pleased. The place was impeccably clean. The farm shop was lovely and we received a great welcome. The hot tub was fabulous—it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The surrounding countryside views added to the serenity and charm of the cottage. Overall, a wonderful getaway that I would highly recommend!

This is a beautiful location. A beautiful home with no expense spared. This is a magical part of the world and this is an enchanted house. I will be forever grateful to have stayed here. if you have the opportunity to stay here then do so. You will never be disappointed.

The perfect place for family recreation. We found a bit of litter, but I informed Jamie, and he said these issues will be resolved. We will be back!

Joe and sue were amazing hosts throughout my stay. They were available during any questions I had and also very helpful during the storm in January. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants an escape to the country, can’t thank them enough. Will definitely be back !!

Our stay at Sandra’s was wonderful! The most loveliest cosiest little cabin with everything we needed and more. The area was lovely and peaceful and the hot tub was amazing. Will be back for sure!!

Stunning little place with nice modern kitchen and bathroom. Completely silent and beautiful surroundings. Car is essential as you are basically 15 mins drive from most amenities.

Had a lovely weekend at The Stables, beautifully decorated and presented with lots of extra special touches; cheese, jam, olives, Prosecco, bathrobes to name a few. Everything you could need to self cater with lots of choice for food within a short drive. Spent a large part of the weekend in the hot tub or playing darts in the pub, the peace and quiet of the surroundings was fabulous, just what was needed. If you’re thinking about a visit, do it!

This cottage is simply beautiful, well designed, well appointed, fully equipped kitchen, stunning views and so comfortable, the beds and bedding is luxurious and the towels so beautiful after a shower which was so powerful. We loved our stay, it was like being at home. Thank you and we will be back to this quiet retreat!

This is the 2nd time staying at Emma’s , I stayed last year around the same time. The cottage is tucked away in the countryside not far from Penrith and the M6 motorway, it’s such a peaceful location. When I got there just after 3pm the cottage was warm and very cleans, in fact spotless !. The kitchen and bathroom use quality fittings and the walk in shower is wonderful (I must get one in my home). The bed is very nice, the mattress is perfect has is the bedding. The tv is small but has a brilliant picture and has a hdmi port for a streaming stick if you have one also the DAB radio is great . The biggest surprise is the speed of the wifi I got about 450mbps down and the same up, not what you expect in the countryside !. Emma left me a pint of milk,bread, homemade cake and a bottle of wine. Last year I stayed 3 nights but this time I stayed 5 nights which tells you everything !

my friends and myself had a cozy “galentines” weekend here at the tamano farm and it was one of the best weekends we’ve had. The house itself is beautiful and you feel right home it has everything you could possibly need. The animals were a huge plus as they’re super friendly and we got to feed and pet them. The space is very family friendly and spacious. The hot tub and sauna were also an added bonus for us and it was a super easy to start and use! Andrew was lovely and super friendly! We look forward to staying again in the very near future 🫶🏽

Fantastic place with fantastic views. Adorable kitchen and bedrooms. We wanted to be a little away from the crowds and it was perfect. We would book again if back in the area.

Tom was probably one of the best hosts we have had. Really informative and helpful without being over the top. Whenever we needed anything, he was quick to respond. Have great information on the area and even offered us a lift! Honestly, cannot fault him. Annexe was beautiful and clean, well maintained. Gorgeous area, lovely local pubs and the hot tub was filled with fresh water. Fantastic experience. Would definitely stay again.

A gorgeous place to stay, really enjoyed our visit and would definitely return in summer time! Should be made aware of the road to the cottage as it’s made for bigger cars on a dirt road. Our smaller cars scraped along, could damage underneath car and not great for your tyres but apart from that it was excellent. We were able to get a late check out which was appreciated as with late check-in and early check-out you only really get 1 full day if staying for the weekend. Lovely hosts and very spacious cottages😁would happily return!

Cosy and beautiful cottage in a breathtakingly stunning location right in front of Loch Fyne. The perfect place to unwind, relax, and enjoy the natural beauty of the Scottish Highlands – complete with adorable horses, ponies, and chickens right outside the windows. The cottage was bright, warm, spacious (especially for four people), and immaculately clean. Lindsay and Steve have clearly put a lot of thought into the details, including charming Christmas decorations during the festive season. :) The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, and they even provided firewood for the fireplace along with some lovely local produce. Lindsay and Steve were always available to answer any questions and came to our rescue straight away when we had a breakdown with our hire car. Thank you so much for everything – we truly appreciate all you did for us. We had an absolutely wonderful stay!
