Serene Retreat- Main lodge Bedroom #8 on 25 acres

Dan & Jill as people were so kind. We were driving from Texas with a 1AM arrival and they waited for us to arrive to greet us and show us how to get in with our keys. The place itself is AMAZING. I loved the outdoor sitting areas, as well at the kitchen and inside areas, not to mention the lake and beach area. I couldn’t recommend this place any higher, I truly did not want to leave. If I had even one complaint, it would just be the thinness of the walls, sometimes we could hear our neighbors if they talked loud enough. But seriously, for its price, getaway feel, room quality, and Jill and Dan themselves, book this space. I went with a friend, but this space would be amazing to host retreats or family get aways. If we lived in Nebraska, my family would book this yearly. Again, I couldn’t recommend this any higher. I felt comfortable, safe, and paying to stay here should be higher simply based on how amazing it is. Don’t wait to book it.

Quiet stay in the country- Bedroom 7 in main lodge

The place worked perfectly for us. It’s very clean, comforting, and welcoming. There’s no shower in the room (that’s probably in the description but I wasn’t sure — booked in a hurry). But the shared private showers were very nice. There’s also home cooked frozen meals available that looked great. S’mores bar too! A great stay for a retreat from the holiday craziness for us. It is very much a faith focused style retreat, just in terms of decoration and reading material. But I also got the impression all are welcome. Great place! Thanks so much.
