Cabin vacation rentals in Sandy Pond

My elderly parents stayed with us and they had their own suite on the first floor. It was spacious and clean and can accommodate fishermen, snowmobiling families. If you want a quiet place in the country this is perfect!

Kevin was very clean and well kept in all the necessities were provided. The hot tub made it a very relaxing weekend.

This was our first time having an Airbnb experience we went to this cabin for my son’s 16th birthday for a snowmobile trip unfortunately, we were stuck in a terrible snowman which made it impossible. The snowmobile as we received 2 feet of snow overnight. Marlo and Steve were excellent in helping us and even tried to break a trail so that we could get a little riding in that did not work out to no fault of their own. There was just too much snow, but we surely did appreciate them trying to make our experience as enjoyable as possible just poor timing. Cabin was beautiful and location was great.

Awesome place to stay. We stayed for a salmon fishing trip and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The house is nice and secluded from everything and very private. House was also very clean and whenever we needed anything Juanita was quick to respond and help us out!!

This was our 2nd stay at this cozy cabin. We came up to hoping the Timberview Poker Run this year and wanted to stay at this cabin again. The cabin itself is peaceful and homely and has all the amenities and charm to make it feel comfortable. James was super responsive to any questions we had and even let us check in early. It was great to come back to this cabin every night after long chilly rides in our UTV to settle down with a few drinks and light a fire. This is now our go to place when we are up in the area riding. Thanks again for being a great host.

Couldn't have had a more hospitable host. Yonco and wife were very nice. This place is a jewel in the rough. Clean, comfy, and cozy. Wife can't wait to book again. All in all one of our best BnB experience's.

The family really enjoyed being at the upscale camp. We had a campfire, charcoal grill and flat- top grill to enjoy. We loved hanging out on the porch! If your family doesn't mind sharing the open space in the loft, it's a great hangout. You still have wifi and TV, so you aren't completely without electronics at camp. We successfully fished Lake Oneida. Also attended the Syracuse Food Truck Battle before the high winds hit. We had a great time!

Great setup for four guys on an atving trip. We did a lot of riding so we didn’t spend a ton of time at the property but everything was as advertised. Beds were comfy. Bill was very helpful and responsive regarding some logistical questions I had. A couple of us were repeat guests of Bill’s and we will definitely be back. It’s a very good location if you’re planning to snowmobile or atv and even if you’re not you can easily just relax around the property.

We really enjoyed the snag and drag. Cozy little cottage was perfect for our snowmobile trip. Located directly on the trail. Had everything we needed to cook our meals and relax after long days of riding. John was very helpful and answered all my questions quickly. Would definitely go back again.

We stayed at Kasey's cabin for a last minute snowmobile trip. It was perfect! Very clean nice set up. Great location right on the trail we went late season and still were able to ride right out. If you are a 1st timer to Tug hill in the winter don't listen to the GPS if you're coming in from the south and just take 81n to 177. Thanks again for a great stay!!

My husband and I decided last minute to get away for a couple of days to celebrate our coming 10th wedding anniversary. Karen’s place was the perfect place for this. Her place is clean, cozy, beautiful and she made sure we had everything we could need even an IPhone charger lol. The property is well maintained and absolutely gorgeous. We recommend the Lakeside restaurant and the local flee markets. Thank you and we definitely plan to come again.

Really enjoy this place, have been here a couple times and will definitely come back. 400 yards to bar/restaraunt (Great food), convenient store 1/4 mile away. Perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and unwind.

Great spot to crash for the night on sleds, easy check in and awesome location!

This was our first men trip to NY for some steelhead in the salmon river. The cabin had more than enough room for us and close enough to the fishing but also private. We will definitely book again for our next fishing adventure.

Just finished my second trip at the cabin and once again was not disappointed. The house is beautiful, well stocked and convenient to the Salmon River. By far the nicest accommodations in the area and the hosts are wonderful

Pefecy location for a fishing/hunting cabin. We enjoyed our stay and will be back the same weekend every year!

Great winter weekend get away for snow shoeing and XC skiing. Very comfortable place and we would come back again

In September and October, this place is a PERFECT and affordable location not far from the King Salmon run in the Salmon River. This is a good place to stay if you are looking for a rustic adventure but don't want to tent camp. The area is very private, down a dirt road, with no other cabins or tents around. The cabin beds fit me, my 16 year old son and his 2 friends comfortably (with comfy beds). The outhouse is near the cabin and there are solar motion triggered lights to guide your way. The outdoor fire pit was a great evening activity for rustic cooking and s'mores. It is best suited to warmer weather, but the hosts kept the place warm enough with the generator over the cold and rainy weekend we stayed. The outdoor shower didn't hold up to the 2 days of rain but we weren't really expecting to shower anyway. We explored local diners for meals and were able to do simple cooking at the cabin for snacks. We would've used the gas grill but the weather prevented that.
