Kid-friendly vacation rentals in San Pedro, Los Angeles

We love this place. A few wonderful things the description doesn’t mention: (1) the amazing views from the back balcony, (2) higher altitude so it’s nice and cool and also no mosquitoes (houses lower have mosquitoes now), (3) the new amazing washer and dryer, and (4) the hot water for showers is fantastic.

Adrian is a great host and very good at communicating. Everything worked out fine. The bed was comfortable, the shower was nice, and I had no problem finding the place. The location was very good for me as I had several appointments around that area of Los Angeles, Calif. and parking was available on the street. Just what I needed!

Stanley was a fantastic host -always helpful and quick to respond to any requests or questions - simply the best! We absolutely loved this property it was such a calm, airy, spacious and tastefully decorated space, very well equipped. We felt relaxed and at home at all times and were sad to leave. The location was ideal for our needs with easy access to all routes and places we needed to go. Fabulous stay! Thank you (This property would not be ideal for people with mobility constraints due to the space being spread over 4 floors, with steep stairs)

Tastefully decorated place. Comfortable. Close to restaurants and shops. I would stay again as I travel a lot. The only downside, no TV and the bathtub is old and tired looking. I will still give it 5 stars

Thelma’s home is an absolute delight. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a weekend trip to see family. We will be back and recommend to friends and family visiting the area

Unbelievable views that make you just want to sit at the kitchen table or on the deck for hours. The house was clean and checkin/checkout were easy. Would definitely stay again.

I have been staying at Veronica's Studio Apartment on and off for the past 2 years It is my Home Away from Home. I love everything about this studio apartment ... the bed, the TV, the kitchen, the shower, the parking, and of course the location!! I feel a semblance of peace and tranquility each and every visit. We only stayed here one night to attend a graduation, but we absolutely loved the place. The pictures are great, but you won't really get just how charming the place is till you're there. It was plenty of space for 3 of us. Loved the little balcony and the writing/reading corner. We all slept great on the 3 beds: the beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet, even with the windows open overnight. We were there on a Wed night and we always found a parking spot close to the home along the street. We didn't cook there but it looked like everything you'd need was there. We enjoyed walking 5 minutes to breakfast at Park Pantry and being so close to everything we needed to access. Even with the hosts living in the downstairs home, we never heard them and our upstairs home was quiet and private. Pamela was always quick to respond and was accommodating of our schedule. We'd stay here again and highly recommend.

Excellent Stay for Special Occasion! We had a wonderful time staying at this charming apartment during our niece's graduation in Long Beach. The location couldn't have been better - everything we needed was within easy reach, making our trip so much more convenient. The host really went above and beyond with thoughtful touches that made our stay special. The apartment came well-stocked with extra linens, a record player that added great ambiance, and a fully equipped kitchen that had everything we needed. The cozy atmosphere made it feel like a home away from home. Perfect spot for anyone visiting Long Beach - we'd definitely stay here again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had a great 2-night stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with thoughtful amenities that made our stay extra enjoyable. Communication with the host was smooth and they were very responsive. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We enjoyed our stay very much, the host was very helpful with getting us parked and settled in. Uber and Lyft was running all the time and it’s 10-15$ to uber to the venues nearby. We really enjoyed our stay! Definitely will be coming back when we are planning a trip to LA for a concert.

Jesse sent clear check in instructions a day before check in. The app was giving me a glitch and I couldn’t see the rest of the detailed instructions. He sent me a text with all the information which I truly appreciated. The home was very clean. The amenities were great! If you love a bright place this is a great spot. Totally walkable. Definitely will recommend the home

We had a fantastic two-week stay at Ajay, Julie and Mia's place while my son was participating in a sailing program in Long Beach. Check-in was a breeze and parking was easy and very convenient for our SUV. The apartment was spotless, with excellent natural lighting from windows on all sides. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the space was wonderfully quiet—a very relaxing and comfy place for me to work while my son was gone during the day. I walked to the beach 1 - 2 times per day which was one of my favorite things to do while we were there. (It was just a 12 minute walk!) We appreciated having a full grocery store just a few blocks away and enjoyed lots of amazing restaurants close to the property. Ajay and Julie were very responsive and helpful. Thank you! We truly loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Udo’s property offered light, spacious rooms with beautiful decor, off-street parking and short walks to restaurants, beach, bluff (morning yoga), a farmer’s market, grocery store, bakeries, etc. We dined in the garden, on our balcony and inside where plants were literally works of art with unique display of textures, varieties, shapes and colors. Everything from the laundry room and bookshelves to closets and bathroom were well stocked and well maintained. Enjoyed many personal touches such as biscotti and fresh flowers. Outdoor activities work supported by bicycles, beach towels, folding chairs, a yoga mat, and even binoculars, as well as more common conveniences. We highly recommend Udo’s lovely property and hope to revisit next winter.

Luis provided a very nice and organized condo to stay at. I needed a place to stay near the Long Beach Convention Center, and this location was ideal! The condo inside was very organized and ready to go. The key fab made the condo feel very private, and I could relax when coming back to sleep. Overall, very nice place and comfortable for staying near the Long Beach Convention Center.

My boyfriend & I really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very clean, spacious & super comfortable. The only challenge is that you have to find parking on the street and the neighbors are not friendly when it comes to that. Everything else was great.
