Pet-friendly vacation rentals in San Juan County

We were in town for our annual silverton ski trip and this was the perfectly spacious and dog-friendly spot to stay! We loved the fenced in property for our dog to run around. The place was very clean, well stocked kitchen, and had everything we needed including ample towels and toilet paper! We appreciated Morgan's responsiveness when we noticed the coffee pot was broken and they were on it by dropping a new one off the next morning! Walkable to ALL the restaurants being centrally located 1 block from the main street. Off-street parking and a driveway as an option too for when it snows since Silverton has plowing restrictions. There's a Roku too with your standard streaming services but we went out most nights. 10000% will stay here again!

Really awesome house in the middle of town but also quiet and peaceful. Perfect combination. Walkable to all the restaurants.

Val’s house is a gem. Great art, terrific beds, excellent location. It offered a fabulous home space that felt both authentic and comfortable. We had a prime location for the 4th of July Fireworks, and the Silverton community- including the next door neighbors- is incredibly friendly. Definitely recommend.

We loved our stay at Mayra’s place, it had everything we needed and we all felt right at home. Heated bathroom floors and a fantastic shower really hit the spot after a long day on the slopes. It’s a 5 min walk to the chairlift (with ski boots on), so easy to head out and easy to come home at the end of the day. Mayra was super responsive, highly recommend staying here.

The house was great! It was very cute and close to spots in town that we wanted to go to. It was larger than we expected, which was awesome! The stairs were quite creaky, which made for loud mornings, but that is to be expected with an old house. We had an issue with the coffee pot and Angela was very responsive. I would definitely recommend the house!

Melissa's house was very warming, it is not luxury but has everything you need, including a remodeled bathroom and a fully furnished kitchen. It was still March, which means cold and snowy in Silverton, so the outdoor is not yet enjoyable, but the front porche still had two chairs and a table if you wanted to hang out outside the house.

Loved the location. Walkable to town and next to grocery store. House was spacious and in a quiet area. A couple small fix ups could be made (I.e. trash bin, faucet) but overall was clean!

This is a gem! We were here in the winter for skiing and the hot tub outside was clutch! Plenty of space to sleep and very well organized sleeping arrangements downstairs. Big kitchen and living room area where everyone can hang out. Less than a 10 min drive to Market Village for supplies and about 20 mins to Historic Telluride. Highly Recommended!

The outside wrap-around deck means you can find a sunny or shady spot as needed. For us, we were seeking sunny and out of the breeze. A great place to stay if you are wanting multiple trips to Ridgway State Park as it is a quick drive up the highway.

Great location! Easy ski-in,ski-out. Easy walk to Gondola. Timely shuttle pick-ups around Mountain Village. The place was pefect for what we needed - just 3 guys coming in for a quick ski weekend. The place was super quiet too. We didn't hear a peep from neighboring units.

The location is very convenient, allowing kids to ski in and out with ease. The added convenience of a ski butler service delivering equipment right to your door is a great touch. The hotel’s shuttle drivers are all exceptionally patient and courteous. The rooms are spacious, clean, tidy, and very comfortable.

We had a great time at Molly’s place in Telluride. She’s super responsive and the place was perfect for our group. Comfy beds, great location. Would definitely come back!

Great place to stay. Pictures don't do it justice. You must take your own toiletries, coffee (drip coffeemaker) and paper towels. We had to scrounge around for some paper towels. Views were amazing. Within walking distance to the marina if you plan on doing any water activities. Will stay here again.

It was a lot smaller than we expected but for 2 people it’s fine for 1 night. Exceptionally clean which was much appreciated.

We had a great stay in the Purgatory Condo. We were close to the mountain and the Shuttle Service was excellent. We enjoyed the hot tub and comfortable surroundings after long days on the slopes.

The condo was in a great location, half way between Durango and Silverton! Plus Purgatory Ski resort is directly across the road with amenities we were able to have access too for a minimal cost. The small lake directly on the property was a blast, they had so many different water toys you could rent for the day ie., kayaks, paddle boards, canoes ,etc.,beautiful area and hiking right there. The condo was very well equipped, dishes, pan, small appliances, bedding, you name it it was there, it was very comfortable. It was nicely decorated. I must add the place was very clean, the tile floors were immaculate. There were a couple minor negative's, but we communicated with the Vacation Rental company regarding them, who was very responsive and helpful. They were very helpful and communicated with us everyday making sure we were satisfied with everything. They sent an email and text with directions and codes the day before arrival to make sure checkin would go smoothly. We would go back!

Patrick +hosts were very responsive and friendly. The hotel staff was also very helpful and friendly. The condo is beautiful and there was plenty of room for our family. It was extremely clean, organized, and comfortable. Book it, you won’t regret it.

Cut to the case… Would I stay again? Definitely! This property is nestled in a quiet, secluded area against the mountain. It is a dated property when compared to a lot of new structures in and around the area. However, don’t let that weigh on your mind too heavily. The unit is located on the second floor (considering ground as 1st) next to the staircase. I found the unit to be safely secured, well lighted, clean, providing a comfy bed, and stocked with all the amenities one would need for a visit to Telluride. For me, it was an easy short walk to lift 7 and a little further walk to lift 8/free gondola via a nature path along side of a stream. Also, it is conveniently located to grocery and liquor store. I even walked downtown for dinner on several occasions. Per my own picky preference, I found the decor a bit worn, outdated, and cramped for the full functionality due to the close proximity of the bed and dresser. The host was very attentive with quick responses. : )

Great spot. No issues. Ski valet alone worth the price of admission. Very lean closet space if more than 2 guests with no options outside of the bedroom closet. Otherwise awesome.

We enjoyed our stay. The location was great. The gondola was close. Walking to dinner and shopping was close. We will definitely consider booking this location again for future visits.

This is our second time staying at Stacy’s place and we are already planning our trip for next year. She is an amazing host! Super responsive and everything is as described. She even had treats ready for our dog. The apartment is near everything in town. It’s quiet and cozy and super comfortable. We feel it is ‘our’ Telluride place.

Our family had a fantastic time together to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. We admit we booked the home based on location and price before knowing that it was the “shoulder season” in Telluride/Mountain Village. Which means not all restaurants are open. But do not let that dissuade you from coming here during shoulder season!! This home has everything you need to enjoy a beautiful vacation in the mountains. We enjoyed the amazing chefs kitchen with a Viking stove, hexclad cookware and plenty of basic spices available. We cooked most meals in while enjoying everything the house had to offer. Relaxing mornings sipping coffee and enjoying the views through the wall of windows. Afternoons in the hot tub, soaking up the warm sun and playing corn hole (we brought). We also found hikes along the river we could enjoy. And evenings around the kitchen peninsula enjoying drinks, charcuterie and playing games together. Overall, I highly recommend this home for a relaxing Telluride vacation.
