Vacation rentals with beach access in San Joaquin River

Awesome stay at Fidel’s place. Check in was easy and the included parking was great. Loved that the parking included a sign with my name to indicate the correct spot. Everything in the apartment was super clean. Bed was very comfortable. Laundry being included was also very convenient and an excellent amenity. We also really enjoyed the Simpson’s game. Would love to stay again!

My boyfriend and I spent the weekend at Fidel’s place and it was truly a wonderful stay. It was very close to Monterey and Carmel. The apartment was well stocked in the kitchen and bathroom and everything was very nice and neat. I would definitely recommend staying here and would definitely book again!

We had an amazing stay at Howard’s Place! Literally steps from the beach. Howard was very communicative and always responded if we reached out to him. The community is also amazing! We had an issue with the blinds not working and they came the next day and fixed them. They provide wheelbarrows for luggage and have a private pond. We would definitely stay here again! Had a great stay here! The location was perfect, right next to the beach where we spent most of the time. The place itself was clean and tidy with plenty of room. Will definitely stay here again!

We loved staying at Leos' place! It was a perfect size for two people and was in a great location. It was around a 6 to 8 minute drive to Cannery Row, and it provided convenient access to the cities of Monterey, Carmel, and was only around a 45 minute drive to Santa Cruz from the studio. Although I missed seeing Leos on arrival and departure, he always went out of his way to contact me and give insightful suggestions on the area! Checking into the studio was extremely easy thanks to Leos' instructions. The studio was amazing, felt very clean and private in a quiet area. At night, you could hear the ocean when the windows were open. The amenities were also great! He provided towels, toiletries, utensils, appliances, a comfortable bed, and more. I would 100% stay here again and would easily recommend this location to small groups of friends and family. Thank you Leos!

Great location - the unit is a timeshare in a nice resort near the beach. Very tidy, uncluttered and well appointed. Would definitely stay again.

Was out in the area for work real comfortable, nice and quiet. Only issue I had was the Wi-Fi was not that great. I still would stay there again.

This was our best Airbnb experience by far. The home was clean and it had everything a family with little ones need! Our kids loved the play area in the back patio and we felt right at home. Host was super attentive and responsive and you could feel the host’s thoughtfulness and consideration of their guests in the set up and management of the home. If we come back to the area in the future we would love to stay in one of their homes!

My adult daughter & I drove down from Oakland to Monterey to go to the aquarium on Mother's day. This was the perfect place to stay! The townhouse has 2 bedrooms downstairs and 1 (primary) bedroom upstairs, along with a large kitchen, dining room & family room on the top floor. This has would be great for a larger group two, but we enjoyed each having our own floor. Melí was a great host, with ample communication and suggestions for activities and restaurants. She even left a little gift basket of snacks & a bottle of local wine for Mother's day. Everything was very thoughtful, both in the house and with the host communication. If we find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely look to see if this house is available!

Kim and her husband are an incredible couple. Lots of history at this place. They do an incredibly beautiful job of making you feel right at home. If you want a private beach house getaway with stunning sunsets, friendly locals, and a place to recenter relax and recharge this is the spot! Nothing but kudos to these guys and the atmosphere they created for me and my partner. Take a relaxing bath after a day at the beach spotting otters, seals and whales - 5 min walk to the sand - and watch the owls on property fly around at twilight! Magic through and through. Fantastic location and home for a family get-away. Much to see and do on site and in the local area. The home is very comfortable and welcoming with all the amenities you might need and more. Can’t wait to book again!

Kit’s place was perfect for our family’s stay in Monterey. The house was even better than the pictures (a very pleasant surprise). The yard was secure for our dogs, the house felt clean and comfortable, and everything was as described.

We weren’t checking in until Saturday afternoon, but the host made the aquarium passes easily available prior to check-in. Host was extremely prompt in any & all communication. Clean & quiet home for our stay!

Amazing views of the Pajaro River and Pacific Ocean. Short walk (300 yards) to the beach along a boardwalk or enjoy the views from the livingroom through the large picture windows or deck. Perfect for a couple or young family (the two twin beds in the second bedroom are quite small but my 20 something daughters had no complaints). Abundant bird watching opportunities along with the occasional sea lion\seal and otter.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. It’s absolutely perfect and has everything you could possibly need. We were especially delighted to find chopsticks, which totally made our day since we were planning to have ramen and thought we’d have to use forks! The view from the condo is stunning, like something out of a movie, and it was such a treat to have easy access to the beach. Watching the sunset was one of the highlights of our trip. The host was very responsive and provided clear, helpful instructions for everything, from check-in and check-out to using the washer. The check-in process with the gate attendant was smooth and made us feel extra secure. Everything was super clean and thoughtfully prepared. We stayed at several Airbnbs along Route 1, and this one was undoubtedly the best. Highly recommend!

Had a great stay here! highly recommend it for being able to walk on the beach and toast smores by the fire at night. Accommodations worked well for our family of 5. Clean and well maintained unit.

Wow. Absolutely beautiful & perfect location, I love it here. We went for my bachelorette/birthday weekend. You’re right in the middle between Monterey & Capitola. Close to stores/restaurants but most important, right on the ocean. The place was clean, and My was wonderful. Always responded quickly and was so nice. Such a relaxing time, would definitely book again!

We’ve stayed at Pajaro Dunes before, but it’s been decades ago. Marc’s place was perfectly situated for privacy and views and was very clean and well appointed. The peacefulness and serenity were exactly what we were looking for. The beachy feel of the furnishings was charming and the unit included all that we needed including an upgraded and well furnished kitchen, a gas fireplace, a comfortable, king size bed and other essentials like extra blankets and a Kuerig coffee maker. Our only difficulty was when inadvertently trying to use the TV remote to change channels…Don’t Do That, Use the cable remote like it says in the instructions. Spent a thoroughly enjoyable four days here with side trips to Monterey and Carmel. Perfect home base for dining out and exploring the coast, and an excellent, proactive host.
