The Cottage

The Cottage, with a studio style layout, is a bright and clean space just one mile from historic downtown lees summit with local shops, bars and restaurants. The cottage is ~20 min from downtown Kansas City and 15 min from Kaufman and Arrowhead Stadium. This newly renovated 1900s milk barn is unique and special with a lot of charm, with a few of the modern conveniences. Guests are welcome to take advantage of the two acre landscaped yard and enjoy a delicious s’more at the outdoor fire pit!

Truly one of a kind Historic property converted into a spacious, cozy loft in the heart of South KC. This 100-year-old space(5 min from HS Truman farm. He spoke on this stage on his first political campaign) has been completely rennovated with concrete countertops, beautifully vaulted ceilings, huge bathroom, built in workspace and even a fun kid's room. Home is located into a neighborhood but just a short walk to conveniences like gas station, multiple food options, dollar stores and drugstores. You will love the bright space, 2 outdoor covered seating areas, fenced shared back yard and driveway. GORGEOUS/CHIC w/ 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms! Less than a mile to downtown LS. Easy highway access to all KC metro attractions within less than 30 minutes away! Absolutely NO drugs, parties, couch sleeping, pets, big rig parking or smoking/vaping inside allowed & if so booking will be forfeited. Drop in guests are only permitted with permission. The kitchen sink backs up a bit when doing laundry upstairs, but NOT an issue & only done during day hours.

What a beautiful cottage. Just the right size with everything you need. So lush, green and quiet. A/c worked great, and 2 ceiling fans were a nice touch too. Such a nice older neighborhood with very walkable shaded streets. Georgia was a great host. We walked to Hi Hat Coffee each morning and one afternoon walked to Joe's BBQ. Line out the door at both places. If going to Joes, grab a cold adult beverage from the bar when in line. We'll be back again next year for The Big Slick Weekend.

We loved staying in this enchanting cabin. The cabin is so modern yet quaint and cozy. The entire wall of windows opens up to an outside view. Including a stream and bridge. The morning views were peaceful and the evening views were lit up with lights hanging from the trees. Everyone we met were so nice and helpful with anything we needed. We truly couldn't have asked for more.

Such a beautiful house for my girls and I to stay in the night before I got MARRIED!! The upstairs “glam” area was perfect for us to get ready in. My only regret was that we didn’t stay here longer to get to enjoy everything it had to offer!!
