Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Ross County

A very unique rental (a church) with accommodating owners. Our group had a last minute need and these people were able to set us up and have us in to a clean and ready space in a few hours.

My team stayed in Beth's house for the Buck Fifty race and it was perfect. Plenty of room for us to spread out, hot tub for sore muscles after each portion of the race and a comfortable place to relax in during the downtime. We will absolutely be booking for the race again next year assuming someone else doesn't snag it out from under us.

Host was very friendly and offers a book of recommendations with the stay of things to do in Chillicothe and also the history about Chillicothe as well. House was absolutely beautiful and worth every penny.

This place is amazing. Highly recommend for any occasion. People in the area r super friendly. Lots of parking perfect for a car trailer or any other kind of trailer.

The Cottage on Cave's interior was beautifully designed. The screened in porch and back patio space added to the charm and experience. The hosts thought of everything. We especially enjoyed that the property was a short walk from a hidden gem that is The Arc of Appalachia Highlands Nature Sanctuary and Appalachian Forest Museum. It felt luxurious while simultaneously feeling like home. We highly recommend a stay here!

Nancy was a great host. Very responsive and able to help with anything needed! Only thing worth mentioning is that the house has locked bedrooms, which isn’t something I’ve experienced before. Be sure to note the number of rooms you need so that you have access to the rooms. It is also dependent on the number of guests. Also, the thermostat is locked, so you might benefit from advising what temperature you prefer the house at. All of this was handled quickly for us though. The house was very nice (but only queen beds).

This was a wonderful place to stay! Just outside of town so it was quite and peaceful, but close enough to get to all of our family in town. It was clean and comfortable, and the host was wonderful at communicating with us. Would definitely stay there again.

Hillside Haven is a lovely, spacious house and was perfect for celebrating my father's 97th birthday with the siblings. Not advertised as being handicap accessible, the back entrance only had one step which worked well for my dad and for my 2 siblings who recently had knee replacements. Parking was convenient as well for those needing to park close. We loved the back patio with plenty of seating, citronella candles, ceiling fans and festive lighting. The patio was peaceful in a serene setting until the siblings began our yoyo competition, then there were lots of laughs! Everything was as pictured. I was happy that the kitchen had spices & some condiments, along with a drip coffee pot. Nancy was responsive to communication and very easy to work with. She came to check on our party upon arrival and was friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend Hillside Haven. We ate at Bell Farms and had spectacular smoked brisket and locally roasted Two Roasting Joes coffee, delish!

The Creekside Cabin is the most secluded of all the cabins at the campground. The hot tub is in the back, so fairly private. Lots of trees and birds. Good spot for relaxing. Cabin is a bit dark inside but comfy and clean.

Beautiful place! Had an amazing time just relaxing. The children also loved hanging around front and in the game room. We played family games and had good quality family time. Would love to come back.

Beautiful setting! Enjoyed the peace and tranquility with family. From all of the outdoor games to sitting on the decks or enjoying the fire and hammocks, was exactly what we were looking for to create lasting memories!

Nice little cabin, don't forget to bring comforters though. Thanks for the short stay!

Whispering Pine was a great weekend getaway with the family! We thoroughly enjoyed the warm hot tub, fire ring with included firewood, and the beautiful wrap around porch! Mia was exceptionally helpful in providing insights on the property including the parks paths and other amenities. It was an extremely quiet and peaceful visit!

Beautiful cabin. Very comfortable and welcoming. Hot tub was very clean. Fire pit area was clutter free. My friends and I had such a great time staying here. The layout was so open, and there was good natural light. The furniture and beds were comfortable also. I honestly cannot say enough about how much we loved everything about this cabin.

Absolutely gorgeous place! Everything was exceptionally clean, towels and linens smelled so fresh. The hot tub was pristine. The porch swings are the best place for afternoon naps. Quiet setting, very peaceful. You will not regret anything booking this place, it is heaven on earth. Hosts are very responsive, accommodating, and kind. All of their recommendations for local eateries and wineries were on point. We had the best time. Money well spent.

The Higby House was in one word AWESOME! It is luxuriously appointed with everything you might need or want. The decor was just perfect! Everything high end. The location is so peaceful it was hard to say goodbye. The hosts were on top of everything and made an extra effort to make sure our stay was as expected. Our stay far exceeded those expectations! Given the opportunity we would stay again and again. A great place to make family memories. Thank you!!
