Cottage vacation rentals in Rochester

Alecia and John were meticulous hosts from the well curated guide book to their responsiveness when we had questions. All made for a wonderful family fourth of july! We look forward to returning.

We definitely have never stayed in a rental that was so CLEAN! Aside from the labels, it felt as if we were not staying at a rental property at all. When we go away, it’s nice to stay somewhere that’s close to as nice and comfortable as home. We were warm and cozy. The house had everything and way more than we needed and we would like to see how beautiful it would be in the Summertime. The house was spacious and we loved the history and charm that it possesses. The hot tub was a major draw and sparkling clean also. It snowed practically the entire visit and felt private with all the trees surrounding the property. A huge perk was the proximity to Okemo and Killington for the boarders in our group. With the looks of the Volleyball net and court, presumably the owners are fans of the game! Bravo, Alecia- we thank you for your hospitality!

The house was beautiful and had a bunch of nature space and can tell is very kept up and taken care of. The house inside is beautiful and clean. The hot tub with the nature view is amazing. Deff would give this place a 10/10 and recommend to people looking for a private and peaceful area. Only thing is no service if not from area and restaurants and grocery stores are alittle far out but other than that great place to stay!

A great stay! Has everything you need, amenities, entertainment, outdoor activities. One of the best stays I’ve had in a while, definitely recommend, especially if you’re bringing your kids!

Great house with plenty of space and beds. Living room had ample couches and great for our group to hang out there with the fireplace and hot tub off the back deck of kitchen. Kitchen had all necessary cooking pots/pans/utensils. Easy communication with the hosts and would return.

Perfect place for a ski weekend with a group of friends. House was exactly as described, check in was extremely simple, and all the amenities were in full working order and easy to use (special shout out to the hot tub which was amazing after a day out on the mountain). Location is less than 10 minutes from the Skyeship gondola, less than 20 from the main Killington base areas, and easy to find just off of the main road. Overall we had a great time and would 100% stay here again in the future.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house for a weekend ski getaway. The house is located on a gorgeous lake just minutes from Okemo, making it a perfect stay for Skiing. The views of the lake are spectacular with direct lake front access. We had a very comfortable stay and enjoyed the hot tub after skiing as well as sitting in the living room by the gas fire place. This is by far one of the nicest AirBnBs that we have booked near Okemo and we look forward to staying at the house again in the summer and winter.

Staying at Andas Hus was an Airbnb experience on another level. This little cottage has everything that you could ever need for an extended getaway- we did so much cooking, wandering, made full use of all of the tech, and enjoyed the hot tub for several nights. We had four adults sharing the cabin and it was more than enough room for us. Matt was super responsive and kind when we had questions about the stay. I'll absolutely be recommending Andas Hus to any of my friends and relatives looking for a New England getaway, and maybe we'll be back someday!

This place is so wonderful! Everything is provided for your comfort. Rayna was great in communicating an issue about one of the toilet is not working and offered a full refund if that would be a problem, which it was not at all. The location is great. Easy access to the lake for swimming or kayaking (kayak/canoe is available for use). It has a nice patio for sitting while enjoying the sunset view. This makes it to the list of favorite places to stay.

Awesome space and location. 100% recommend especially if you want to be closer to the mountain. Can walk to breakfast the Round Hearth

This lovely little cabin is in a piece of paradise. Though we had rain on and off our entire stay, we were able to visit Woodstock, and various local inns for a wonderful meals . Best was our visits with our family, who live very close by, enjoying the grill, and listening to the birds on the deck. It is quite the serenade for bird watchers. The long private drive to the cabin contributes to its sense of peace. Vermont is a beautiful state and this is truly one of the loveliest parts.

Staying at Lulu’s cottage for the second time was nothing short of a positive experience! I highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful place to stay with a short drive to surrounding areas such as Quechee and Woodstock. Lulu is always so friendly, accommodating and responsive. Very clean and has all the amenities you need. Looking forward to our next stay!

We can always rely on a great long term stay at the cottage.

Linda was a fantastic host, and her home was even better than listed. The cabin was a good size for our family of four + dog; the 2 bed / 2 bath arrangement allowed for good privacy when needed. The fireplace was great for apres and winding down at night. Location is a nice mix of seclusion (off the Mountain Rd), but close to everything.

We loved staying at Greg & Karen's place! It is a lovely, recently built carriage house that is very homey and clean. Comfortable bed, good shower, and a well-equipped kitchen. The location beautiful and somewhat remote, but also not too far from Burlington. The carriage house has a window that looks right into where there are horse stalls for their three horses! Unfortunately, rainy weather prevented us from walking the beautiful grounds and visiting the horses up close. Greg and Karen were very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend a stay at Valley View Farm.

My husband and I loved our stay here! It was very private and a beautiful location. The river access is great to take a dip and the porches on the cottage are great. We travelled to the surrounding areas for hiking, visited Vermont, and Lake a placid area. Highly recommend and would love to return!

A perfect bucolic getaway. All was found as described and the views into distant mountains alone are worth the stay.

We had a fantastic stay at in this remote getaway in the Adirondacks. The property was perfect for us and our dog, which plenty of space to explore and a cozy fireplace to come back to. The drive to Lake Placid is easy and scenic, and the host's recommendations for local spots were great. The host was also very personable and even stopped by to drop off cookies. Overall, a perfect retreat!

Stef’s place is truly a gem— cozy, tasteful, and well equipped for a little weekend in the woods. We appreciated the wood stove and the large supply of games. Would absolutely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay so much! The place was nice and clean and quiet, perfectly organised and thought through. Karen was a welcoming, friendly, and helpful host. I wish more AirBnBs were like this! Would be happy to return someday.

Patti was a wonderful host- she was very proactive in making sure we got to the location easily as well as providing ideas for us to do while we were there. The place was wonderful, cozy, and surrounded by beautiful trees. I would recommend this to any leaf peepers or someone wanting a quiet Vermont getaway.

Even better than described! We had such a nice stay in the cottage. It’s absolutely adorable and has everything you could need for a night, a week or a month. Very clean and perfectly situated for privacy but close to attractions. Will definitely book again

Well equipped cabin with lots of space for a large group. The fireplace was central and cozy and the bedrooms were nicely arranged. My father had his on place in the single room while the kids had their own also. We enjoyed the exploring the property in the snow! We skied Okemo, but it is much closer to Magic Mountian. Would rent again!
