Cabin vacation rentals in Raleigh County

We loved our stay and will definitely be back next time we are in the area. Everything was exactly like the pictures. It was in close proximity to New River Gorge National Park and the hot tub was phenomenal after a long day of hiking. It was quiet and private and the stars were beautiful at night. Would definitely recommend staying here

The cabin was just as described. Small but plenty enough room for two adults. Very conveniently located to hiking and eating in the area. If you have kids and it was in the warmer season it would be ideal, the resort itself has loads for kids to do.

We had a great time at Cabin D’Vine. We had a late check-in and the front office was very accommodating and friendly. There were some reviews complaining of the furniture, but we didn’t see any issues with them. The cabin was secluded and peaceful yet around the corner from any shops or food you may need. An easy 30 minute drive to the Winterplace resort. Would definitely stay again.

An amazing property. Very peaceful. Hot tub A+. Heating stove in living room was very effective and nice to quickly warm up inside after a night time hot tub soak on the patio. Easy access to all directions and in the gorge. Friendly check in. The only ‘issue’ was the comfort of the mattress, but that’s a personal detail/preference and very hard to please every single person. The cabins at pine haven are the perfect getaway if you would like some peace and quiet among beautiful surroundings all while being close enough to stores to get supplies without going too far.

The cabin was just as described and the ACE resort grounds were really cool.

Coty's place was very nice! We had good stay! It was clean, had many amenities (including lots of towels) and an enjoyable outdoor space. The only things that would have been nice to have were some shower gel or soap, laundry detergent, and a little bit of wood for the outdoor fire pit. We drove around trying to find wood. When we did, it was poor quality and very expensive. We didn't bring any shower gel/soap thinking there would be some as all places we stay typically provide it. They did note that laundry detergent was not provided. If providing a washer, laundry detergent would have been very nice. Also, with all the fees added on, the nightly rate was quite expensive so not sure we would book again.

Our second stay at The Black Bear Lodge! Spacious and inviting, with plenty of space for a family gathering. Good kitchen that you can cook for a crowd in. Feels like you’re in a very secluded spot, but only 30 min drive to good groceries and other stores in Princeton. Hope to stay again!

This cabin was a wonderful launching point for us and the hounds as we explored the gorge. In a quiet and peaceful area. Check-in was easy and the hosts were reaponsive. Everything was as advertised. We had a great time!

Brooke was quick to respond, easy check in . We booked last minute with no issues. Sam the property manager was great with suggestions for places to visit. This cabin is warm and cozy, perfect for a weekend getaway. Highly recommend staying here.

Stephanie’s place is perfect for our needs/wants. Nice big garage for our motorcycles and well situated to use as a base for riding the surrounding (great) roads. While the layout of the house is a little unusual, there are plenty of bedrooms, the place is well equipped and cared for.

We loved The Shack! it was just right. the house, deck and fenced in yard were great. the shed with pool table was fun too. super convenient to white water rafting and the gorge hiking. oak hill seems sleepy, but try the bakery and cafe restaurant. they have some good stuff!

We loved Susan's place! It was a great home base for our trip to New River Gorge. Very peaceful, great location, great recommendations. We would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

The cabin was just like it was described and was very convenient to nearby Bluestone Lake State Park and Pipestem. The cabin was just the right size for us. We really enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay. The location was peaceful and close to the amenities of pipestem. The kitchen was well-stocked with the items we needed to cook a full dinner and breakfast.

We had a very peaceful stay at the cabin over a long weekend. We were able to relax around the campfire at night and take in the star gazing. We made our way to camp creek state park as well as new river gorge national park over the weekend which were unbelievable! The previously reported water pressure issues seem to have been resolved. We would definitely recommend this location and would love to come back in the future.

I love staying here it is always nice to be close to town and the trails.

This place was perfect for us! We attended the WVPUbFest at Weathered Ground Brewery and the cabins were 10 min away. If you’re in the Winterplace area, this place had all you need!

We really enjoyed staying at the cabin; as it was pet friendly and affordable for us. It had everything we needed and worked out perfectly to visit NRGNP. It was about 15 minutes from the bridge. I called the campground before booking and the response was amazing as I had additional questions. The campground had some construction going on but it did not bother us. We hope to return when it is busier to see the new set up. We had a minor issue and the host was very responsive and helpful understanding it. She was very timely and that put me at ease. Would stay again for sure. Thank you.

Patty’s place was a wonderful respite for my daughter and me. It was comfortable, private and had everything we needed. The kitchen was absolutely the best in any of many Airbnb’s I have used! She even had a Keurig and Ninja air fryer along with many, many dishes and pots and pans. The internet was great. There is a cute outside patio area with grill and even a corn hole game! Most of all Patty was very responsive to any of our questions or needs. The Little Ponderosa is definitely a great place to stay!

Needed a last minute place to stay due to a camper issue. Great space with lots of room and privacy. Close to trails and town. Will stay again!

I am glad that I booked that cabin for my friends and family. It has plenty of beds, utensils, and a double kitchen with everything you need to cook. The surroundings are nice and quiet. The balconies are clean, and it is one of the best mornings you can have with tea. There are plenty of lights on the second floor, and you will have a good smart TV. We all loved it.
