Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Putnam County

The house was perfect for what myself and the guests needed it for. We were in town for a wedding and the house had plenty of space for the four adults and two young children. Kelley was a fantastic host and incredibly responsive to the issues that arose. 10/10 recommend the home and booking with Kelley!

Wow! What an incredible stay we had at this beautiful home! It feels as though you're tucked away in the wilderness, with the perfect blend of comfort & seclusion. We really enjoyed waking up to the sounds of birds each day over a cup of morning coffee. The home was spotless, well-equipped and decorated with charm. We loved the cozy fireplace and the views of countless trees and greenery in their sprawling backyard. Our host, Andy, was extremely responsive and made sure we had everything we needed - I highly recommend this stunning home to anyone looking for a peaceful spot surrounded by nature.

We had a great stay in Rose’s beautiful home! We loved everything about it. The weather was great and we were able to enjoy the front porch and the back deck. We would book again.

My parents and I really enjoyed our stay at Mark’s. His house was beautifully situated right on Lake Mahopac with plenty to do in town and in the surrounding area. Everything was as described and met all of our needs. Mark was extremely accommodating with our length of stay (~ 6 weeks) and allowing us to bring our animals (2 dachshunds, 1 cat). Check-in was easy and upon arrival we were greeted with a gift basket and a binder with all sorts of info (emergency, food, fun activities). The backyard was beautiful, completely fenced in, and super convenient for the pups. When we had questions, all we had to do was send off a quick text and Mark responded in a timely manner. I can’t recommend Mark’s place enough!

Our stay was great. Loved all the bedrooms and amenities. Location was perfect for us, reasonably close to the US Military Academy. The young adults in or group jumped in lake and enjoyed the hot tub. Ample parking right out front of the house. One thing to consider is the stairs. The elders in our group found them challenging. But with a little care and assistance it all worked out great.

Cody is an incredible host. His home felt like home but also an escape and a vacation. It’s immaculate inside and outside and we were sad to leave. We were there 3 weeks! The inside is clean and spacious with incredible appliances, linens and master bath. The pool and jacuzzi were perfection and the fenced in yard was ideal for our dog. Everything was maintained beautifully, including the landscaping. We hope to stay again someday. 10/10

We were in town to run the spartan trail marathon! It was an incredible and beautiful home to stay in and relax in after a gnarly trail run ! Hope to be back next year! My 4 year old had so much fun! There are toys and many fun nooks to nap in. The jacuzzi was incredible and we bbq’d all weekend. Easy to find and close to all the beautiful scenic trails. Host was very kind and responsive.

Our second time at Hopewell Junction did not disappoint. We love this home because Anuja really understands what a guest needs and would like - so many extra touches, like beautiful linens, nice soaps and shampoos, wood for fire, lots of cookware and serving pieces, and beautiful art. Beds are comfy and towels are top notch. It snowed while we were there, beautiful, and the drive was promptly plowed. Our friends speak Danish, and they kept using the word hygge for the house. (Cosy and welcoming) We agree and will definitely be back. Thank you Anuja for another lovely stay!

We had a fantastic stay! The home was perfect for our group! There was plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The house has a stunning view of the lake and the kids loved the swing set in the yard. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub. The house was clean, well-equipped, and exactly as described. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. The location was peaceful and picturesque — waking up to the lake view each morning was a treat. We would absolutely recommend this place to families or groups looking for a relaxing getaway in nature. Would love to come back again!

Alluvion responded with in minutes each time I reached out. Our family loves to cook and the kitchen had every appliance you’d want and more. As well as more than ample serving, glasses and place settings. The out doors has great seating areas and the stone fireplace is awesome. I will definitely be back someday and will definitely recommend to family and friends.

We stayed here as a group of 10 and had a fantastic time! The space was exactly what we needed—clean, spacious, and well-equipped to accommodate a larger group comfortably. Everything was just as described, and it was the perfect spot for us to relax and enjoy our time together. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend to others and hope to return in the future!

Pictures do not do this place justice, comfortable beds and couch’s, clean kitchen and bathrooms, way more space than it appeared in the pictures. Hot tub was amazing on a few cold nights. We spent most of our time in the living room by the fire and making food in the kitchen. Marie’s home was more than we could have wished for, and the location was perfect, in nature but just a few mins away from town. By far the most comforting and relaxing stay we’ve had yet.

I would like to start off by saying this cabin is so beautiful. It’s well decorated and creates this cozy homey appeal, making it feel like a home away from home for my partner and fur babies. The home has great privacy - enjoyed the hot tub & made s’mores (which was provided by the host). There’s a nice hike at Squantz Pond State Park you can do with nice views. Host is very attentive. Checks-in and has great response time. Also, provides a Welcome Book that provides nearby places you could hike, restaurants you could eat at, etc. Really enjoyed our time here. This place is a hidden gem! Tucked away in the woods along a lake with a canoe, waterfalls, old ruins, a firepit, hot tub, and privacy...what more could you ask for!? The cabin was clean, free of clutter and well maintained. The grounds were also well maintained, and the landscape lighting on the ruins and the falls was really stunning! Steve is an amazing host. He's friendly, informative and extremely responsive. We will definitely be staying here again!

As much as we wanted to go back to our homes and redecorate, the comfort and beauty of your home wanted to keep us all there! The decor was stunning! Thank you for thinking of everything we could possibly need. The kitchen was very well equipped. We cooked several meals for our group of 9 and didnt lack anything. Your home exceeded all the descriptions and was beyond all our expectations. Everyone loved having their own bathroom. Thanks for hosting us!

We had a wonderful time. It took some work but it was fun to use the hot tub. It's a shame the property is right up against the busy road, but it's not a problem when you're inside. While we were relaxing in the hot tub you'd hear the occasional car zooming by, but overall we really enjoyed our time there. It was a beautiful spot next to a cute little stream, perfect getaway for the two of us. Just be careful getting in and out of the driveway.

Lovely comfortable tidy clean house, nice outside space . Good location for visiting walkill. Good communication through out . A few issues that need adressing , broken chairs in the garden and not enough hangers . This was advised to owner . Thank you .

The cabin was beautiful and well equipped! Plenty of towel and toiletries and a lovely kitchen (there was even coffee and spices on hand.)The star is the downstairs bar room - features a huge bar, complete with a wash sink, fridge and ice machine - just around the corner is a movie room with six actual movie seats, a great place for a film or to play some Nintendo!

We stayed here for our golfing bachelor party weekend and loved it. We were able to include my dog in the trip and he loved running around the yard and walks along the stream out back. The place is great and is well-stocked. It rained a lot, so we didn't make use of the grill or the fire pit, but we did enjoy the hot tub! The pool table is pretty nice for a home table and is well-maintained, which was great. The hosts were super friendly and responsive. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get away. It's only about an hour (depending on traffic) out of the city, and is a nice getaway.
