Vacation rentals with breakfast in Polk County

Good value for the price point. Patty went above and beyond with all the goodies available for guests. The bed was super comfortable and the space heaters really came in handy. The house isn't modern by any means but that's part of the charm. ;)

This is the second time we've stayed at Susan's home. We love it there. The backyard is an oasis. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Susan makes you feel like her home is yours. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in the area.

We enjoyed our stay. The setting is very peaceful and beautifully landscaped. The furniture is very comfortable! The tv is easy to use and has lots of choices. The bathroom has a bidet, and the heat and a floor light comes on when you enter. It’s so nice! We ordered dinner and breakfast from our host, and it was delicious with generous portions. Also, there was a great little refrigerator. The host provided lots of extras! We spent hours exploring Minto-Brown Park Island Park. We also sipped wine on the deck at The Willamette Valley Winery. Its beautiful! Both places are a close drive from the stay. We wanted a quick getaway and we are so happy we discovered this lovely home.

Cozy and comfortable with everything we needed and more, close to groceries and restaurants, and host is super friendly and responsive!

Steve and Robin. communicated well, which was helpful because I struggled a bit with my communication in an emotionally charged and busy week. The home was quiet and peaceful, and the included snacks were great. The street felt safe but wasn't far from services.

I've stayed in over 60 Airbnb's and I don't give my stars out easily. My reviews are to protect the traveler not the host. This is one of those places that stands out far above all others and it's actually better than the pictures can credit it. How it is situated on the property provides privacy from the main house and still has extraordinary views from the bedroom. The craftsmanship and quality of the build is as good as it gets at any price point. It feels like a 5-star French country chateau that should be way out of my price range. We followed their recommendations for local wineries and our minds were blown there as well. Do not miss Bryn Mawr or the pizza at Ankeny. Ignore the one-off crazykaren review (no ants, LOL), the chateau was spotless, classy and very high end.

Comfortable and easy stay with beautiful natural surroundings and quaint little town nearby. Susan and Joe's place is a great option if you're in the area!

large place is pretty decent it's a little bit on the small side the bathroom is very very small however we did enjoy our stay there she's very accommodating we had two vehicles and a trailer and it was not a problem she was very kind and responsive to anything that we needed the property is beautiful as a nice little pond and a little City area lots of animals chickens and horses and cows it was an enjoyable stay overall
