Apartment vacation rentals in Polk County

We LOVED Carol’s place! We were there (2 weeks) for a horse show and it was only 13 minutes from TIEC. Very convenient! Felt like home the minute we walked it. Kitchen stalked. Beds comfy. No lag with internet. Enjoyed watching her horses from the balcony while sipping on coffee in the morning or grilling dinner in the evening. The apartment had everything we needed. Plenty of room for 4 people + dogs. Nice little fenced in area for them as well. Carol is an amazing person! Terrific host! We can’t say enough about her. We will absolutely be back. Wouldn’t even think of staying anywhere else. Thank you Carol! Highly recommend! You will not be disappointed!

Im a needlepointer. Kathryns shop 1.5 hours from my home is the closest needlepoint resource to me- being able to stitch and spread out in her lovely space and then walk downstairs to the shop for every need, camaraderie and stitching inspiration was the perfect “retreat”! Her place is spacious and clean and exactly as advertised. Im of a certain age when sleep can be elusive- I stayed mid week and the weekday evening traffic noise was higher than anticipated as were the street lights (commuter traffic I imagine, may not be an issue on weekends)… but the twin bedroom (furthest from the street) was dark enough for me and my iPhone white noise app ensured a good night sleep… but again.. thats likely an age related issue. Kathryn was a wonderful host, responsive, helpful and interested in my having a good experience. 😊

We came to town for a wedding and were so happy we had Valarie’s peaceful home to stay in. She was very responsive and left lights on for us since we were getting in late. The GPS was slightly off and we missed the driveway the first time; just look for the two pillars! We would recommend this place to friends and come again.

This was my second stay at this Airbnb and it was great. I love the walk ability and proximity to downtown. It feels cozy and is a great deal! Close enough to the horse show that it’s easy to get to in the morning but conveniently located downtown where there are restaurants and a few shops to check out.

Cute place! This basement apartment had a nice kitchen and living room area. Lots of room! I was in town for work (working nights at TIEC and sleeping during the day). It was mostly quiet for that, but just a little pitter patter of paws a few times. Bring a noise machine if that would be an issue for you! Also a sleep mask came in handy for day sleeping. Would book again :)

The Red Rooster apartment was the cleanest and best decorated Airbnb we have ever stayed in. The rooms were large and everything seemed like it was very recently updated. The space had everything we needed and the private entrance/patio was really nice. Our stay was quiet and peaceful. Saluda is a great walkable little town. Donna is a super host who is very responsive. We would definitely stay again to get away and relax.

We loved our stay at this delightful cottage apartment! Erin & Mary are super hosts! We had everything we needed and they even supplied a couple of things we specifically asked for which was very accommodating and less we had to bring. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived, and the attention to detail, from the cozy furnishings to cleanliness did not go unnoticed. We will definitely be back!

Walter was an amazing host. We booked our stay for a ceremony in Saluda. The beauty, birds and the garden apartment were amazing, and tranquil. We woke to the subtle sound of church bells on Sunday. The place was spotless, and the fresh cream added a perfect touch to our morning coffee. Shopping, and dining are easily walkable. We hope to return in the near future. Lisa & Gordon.

My fiancé and I loved our time spent at Gloria’s! She was a delightful host and her place was super cozy, clean, and relaxing! The super soft bed felt wonderful! We also loved our private entrance and the location was absolutely perfect for sightseeing. Once we arrived, our vehicle was parked until the day we left. We easily walked to downtown Saluda our entire stay! We look forward to coming here again in 2025!

My wife and i felt so comfortable and at home. We love the quiet setting and the animals. Sunrises on the farm are breathtaking. I really enjoyed learning and helping on the farm with the cows and seeing how the cheese is made. If ever I’m back in the area, I will definitely stay there or at least stop in for an ice cream, some cheese and to say hello.

Beautiful views overseeing the mountains. Hot tub and sauna is a great plus. 10-15 minute drive to downtown Asheville and great location to hikes. I would recommend for anyone thinking of staying in Asheville for the weekend

This home is in a beautiful location in west Asheville. We could walk to a lot of restaurants and music venues or drive easily to nature and the Arts district. The hot tub was always ready for us any time we wanted to take a dip. Mike was an incredibly kind and communicative host. He let us check in an hour early because the place was ready. He also shipped something my wife forgot back to us. I strongly recommend this listing and him as a host!

Michelle’s place is amazing! It is our go-to spot when we visit WNC and definitely a home away from home. Michelle and Sean are gracious hosts who share their home unselfishly. We enjoy our relaxed afternoons on the scenic porch as much as exploring the area. And it is a great location for exploring in every direction!

Great place! Clean, clear instructions, kind employees. The Wi-Fi works great but be mindful of limited service! Download the map area on your phone or have screenshots ready. Definitely check out the amenities Rumbling Bald offers! The hot tub and indoor pool were very nice for a chilly weekend.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at Miggy’s home! We enjoyed stunning views, a cozy and clean space that was so welcoming, and had so much fun relaxing in the hot tub. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Hendersonville area.
