Had such a great time here. Peaceful, quiet, & exactly what we were looking for. House had everything we needed and more.

This was our fifth time staying at this Airbnb, and once again, everything was just as expected—clean, spacious, and incredibly well-equipped for families. The home has every toy and amenity you could think of to keep kids entertained and parents relaxed. It’s clear the hosts put a lot of thought into making it a comfortable and welcoming space. We would absolutely recommend staying here again and again!

Peaceful and quiet….country bliss. Cute big ‘ole cows, steers and some beast bulls to make us feel right at home 🐄. So much space inside and outside for our large family!!! Peace river access, through pastures and a good distance from house ( 👍 for parental safety concerns), complete with a gator sighting down at the steeper sand area! Close proximity to Wachula for easy access to groceries and restaurants yet out of town enough for privacy and silence. Fred was very responsive and even offered use of fishing rods if we wanted to give that a try. So kind! We are in the area for the fossils though so we left the fish in the river ✌️House was great. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and space to spread out and not trip over each other. We had a wonderful short visit and felt right at home.

Amazing little getaway location. Great for unplugging from society. Hosts did a really good job at making you feel at home, with complementary snacks and coffee. Air conditioning is great in the house, and the amenities are awesome.

This is our go to when we visit the area! The owners are always responsive and the stay is perfect. Love this little spot in Avon Park!

Great place! Very comfortable and clean, kitchen had more amenities than any place I have stayed. Cindy was great to communicate with, she responded very quickly to any question I had. We will be booking in the future as we return back home to settle my parent's estate.

Super responsive host that allowed for a quick, last minute get away! Peaceful location and just what we needed! We enjoyed our stay and will consider visiting again!

We felt that a few things could have been better clarified in the guide. 1. Guide startes "washing machine and separate dryer are in the utility room next to kitchen". Not so. Laundry facility is in the first building. Laundry room is pretty messy. 2. We figured out, hopefully correctly, that the whole back area from the 1st building to the last are "commons" area, since the beach area was not at our unit (#8). BBQ was not at our unit, but there were a couple in the presumably "commons" area. If this is so, we feel this should be mentioned in the guide. 3. Guide states propane tank is in the garage. There is no garage. 4. Safety concern - The deck could use some repairs. Screws and nails are loose. There is one board in which the end of one side has popped up. 5. Just a suggestion. Unit could use a full length mirror. Don't get me wrong. We enjoyed our stay, resident alligator and green iguana were a nice rustic addition.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cozy waterfront retreat. The house was spotless—one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed. It had all the amenities we needed, making our stay comfortable and stress-free. The location is private and quiet, offering a peaceful atmosphere that made for a very relaxing getaway, which was exactly what we were looking for. If you’re looking for a place to unwind and recharge, this is it! Mark is a fantastic host who gave clear, easy-to-follow instructions for check-in and check-out. All of the house information was provided, making it effortless to settle in and simply enjoy our stay. We can’t wait to come back.

My husband and I stayed at Jackie's place for a weekend getaway to check out downtown Sebring and the new renovations performed by HGTV. The home was only about 10 minutes from downtown. We enjoyed the town and the Sebring Soda Festival. Our stay at the home was so peaceful and relaxing by Lake Sebring. On our 2nd day, we spent over 8 hours on the deck and on the little private beach reading, conversating, and napping. You just feel a little closer to God while your here. There were so many beautiful birds flying about out there also. The inside of the home was very comfortable and we had everything we needed for the short stay. Jackie and her husband were extremely nice and very communicative. If you want to disconnect and unwind then this is the place to be.

Great place. I rented it for my work trip and everything went as expected. Very communicative hosts and place was very clean and cozy.

We were in the area for a wedding. The unit was perfect for our stay. We were two couples. We saw a gorgeous sunrise and were able to have our coffee out on the back patio overlooking the lake. The hosts were extremely accommodating and responsive. We would absolutely stay again when in the area.

This is a very adorable little place with very cool and unique outside decor with lots of seating areas. The pool was lovely, very clean blue water. The grill was very easy and accessible to use. The outside sink is very handy and so is the outside trash can. Once you go inside there is so much to enjoy! From the hot tub to the bar area and pool table we stayed entertained. The kitchen and bathroom are both very clean and easy to use. We enjoyed the dual shower heads it made double showers so easy! We 100% recommend staying here, you’ll very much enjoy your time alone and never want to leave! There’s also cute little guest that visit and there’s just too sweet! The host are very easy to get ahold of and very nice people. We appreciate the chance we got to experience this place and hope others can enjoy it like we did. Thank you, hope to book again!

This was my second time staying at this incredible cabin and I was so happy to return. This property is in a gorgeous part of remote South Florida which is exactly what I was looking for - peace, quiet, and a place to unplug. It is best to be prepared with everything you will need for cooking as there isn't a store super close by. The master bedroom is a dream with vaulted ceiling, comfy bed and really cool cypress knob furniture. We walked on the state land behind the property which was really beautiful and there is a really cool trail about 15 minutes away with some incredible woods. If you are looking to escape to a cabin with the comfort of AC, hot showers, a full kitchen, wifi etc this is the place. Thanks Jim for sharing your slice of paradise!

We had a lovely stay and my youngest daughter is already asking when we can go back. The home is beautifully kept. It was well-stocked. The kitchen is amazing! The property is enormous. The farm animals are really fun. It was a total success. There were only two minor things that don't even qualify as negatives. One, if you aren't used to well water, it may be a surprise. But, listen, the home is on a farm. Of course it's on a well. The other thing is that the bedrooms don't have real curtains so if you are sensitive to sunlight in the morning, then don't plan on sleeping in. But honestly, it's so nice there, I'm not sure why you'd want to waste your morning sleeping.

I stayed the weekend at the cabin with my daughter for my 40th birthday and I PROMISE you we didn't want to leave!!! Jane was sooo sweet and Aaron was our farm hero!🦸‍♀️He taught us to saddle a horse and chop firewood, started our fire pit for us and made sure we were taken care of the entire weekend! But the best part, the aaaaaanimals . . . we adopted a family of the SWEETEST cats on this earth for the weekend, played with the coolest donkeys, goats, horses, chickens . . . it was the absolute BEST! I can't even describe the energy and the ambiance of this place, but I did post a TikTok video to help promote them if you'd like a peek. It was absolutely the weekend we needed and we'll 100% be back! ✨🫶✨
