Vacation rentals in Pike County

Our host, Pamela, was truly amazing. She provided us with amazing recommendations and knows all the places you have to visit and where to eat. She provided us with clear instructions and rules for the stay and her place is simply breathtaking! The sunrise views from the top floor are stunning! Right on the river in a quiet town you can’t ask for more if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway! Again, Pamela was an outstanding hostess and the property is worth it! She’s quick to answer questions you may have and again, take her up on the recommendations, there’s a lot of hidden spots in that town! This place is truly a hidden gem. Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay Pamela! We hope we can do it again soon!

We would love nothing more than to save this place just for us but that would not be fair. This place was simply amazing, you will not regret staying at Sweet Water Lodge! Whether you are staying to go ride side by sides or just hang out by the amazing pond (with bouncy toys) there is something for everyone here. Sweet Water Lodge will not disappoint at all!

Perfect! From the fluffy linens, spotless EVERYTHING to the tasteful,elegant decor - this is the perfect vacation rental. We have stayed in many vacay rentals and I have never been this happy with any of them. Amazing stay! Thanks so very much!!

My husband and I traveled to this location with two other couples that were attending a wedding in the area. Maddy was an amazing host - well stocked kitchen and wonderful little extras in the kitchen and bath for our stay! The amenities were fabulous, and the view was amazing - from the soft and cozy blankets to the comfortable seats at the dining table for us to sit and enjoy playing games. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again.

It is a wonderful old house. It has a bit of work to be done, but it is well worth the stay for the price point. If you have a bunch of people in town, you can get a great meal put together using the dishes and pans!

Joyce messaged us while we were in route to let us know the central aur was not working properly and repair man couldnt be there until next day. Joyce and her husband set up fans, floor a/c unit for us. We later set pics of water coming frim the unit, her husband there within minutes. I asked where the grill was, he was in process of putting it together. When he came back with tge grill, he also brought another window unit!!!! COULD NOT ASK FOR MORE ATTENTIVE HOST!!!!

We really enjoyed this house. It is perfect if you are looking to ride the trails and be outdoors. It is very secluded but that’s exactly what we wanted. The land is beautiful and you can see TONS of deer from across the way during the sunsets. It was so peaceful! The house was big enough to accommodate all of us. The caretaker on the property was so inviting and helpful. Gave us guidance and help. Really cares about the property. Highly recommend and would return.
