Vacation rentals in Pike County

It is a cute, cozy mid-century place with all the charms and quirks of such a home. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We appreciated the labels throughout the home that helped answer any questions you normally have such as which switches control which lights, how to work electronics, shower, etc. We also appreciated timely communication from the hostess and the minimal checkout process. We enjoyed our stay!

We came from New York long drive, there early before check in time but Paulette let us know where the key was to get in. Her husband checked up on us very nice all around. I wish we could’ve stayed longer. We will make it another trip. Thank you very much. Felt like home away from home.😊

Amazing location. Very peaceful surroundings and being right on the river really made my stay wonderful. the home was clean and ready when we arrived and very comfortable.

Always spotless, decorated for the seasons, this cottage is a 5 star. It’s better than the pictures show. Pam, goes out of her way to make the visit feel like home. I would recommend the host & cottage to anyone. I will return for another visit.

Jennifer and Chris are the best hosts! They are very friendly and responsive, feels like visiting family. Sweet Water Lodge is beautiful and very clean. We visited with 8 adults and 1 dog and had plenty of space. We fished and floated on the pond. We especially love the smoker, made some great ribs. We are already looking forward to our next visit, Thank you again for hosting us!

Pleasant Hill was a quaint, small town with friendly people. Beds were comfortable and had plenty of room in the house. For us hunters, had everything we needed.

The place was perfect for our Family gathering. We liked being “in the country” but on the edge of town. The kids enjoyed the hammock while the adults liked the fire pit. There is plenty of yard space. Plenty of towels and supplies, and nicely decorated.
