Bright and Beautiful Penthouse - Close to the lake

GautamRating, 5 stars34 months ago
We had a great stay at Delphine's place in Uptown. The location is excellent, being on a tree-lined street, but very close to the Red Line, the Broadway bus, Andersonville, Little Asia, grocery stores and more. As we had a little kid, being right on top of the little park downstairs was also very convenient. On the flipside, it can get noisy in the summer with lots of kids/playgroups coming there, but as parents, we didn't mind. Delphine herself was very quick to respond via Whatsapp to all our queries before and during our stay. One thing to keep in mind at her place is that you are very much living in their home. If you are looking for an apartment that is only intended for guests, this is not it. While it is plenty big as a 2BR/2BA, it is full of stuff, furniture, photos, books, toys, etc. They have made a very nice office space in the main living area, but the drawback is that the living area is now very cramped. The main bedroom has 2 queen size beds in it, which is a bit weird, so we just ended up using one bed to keep our clothes on. The other bedroom with bunk beds is excellent for kids and more spacious. So overall, a great place and a great stay, and especially good if you are a couple with 1 or 2 kids. Just a bit cramped and crowded with stuff. We stayed for 2 weeks.
The Great Room features an open-plan design with high ceilings and large windows, allowing ample natural light. A dining table accommodates several guests, while a cozy seating area includes a plush chair. A gourmet kitchen with modern appliances is visible in the background.

Restful Refuge, Hot Tub, Firepit, Dunes Nat’l Park

CandiceRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our stay was fantastic! The house was gorgeous and clean and the view of the water was so nice. The beds were super comfy and the area where the property sat was peaceful. We had some issues with the internet going in and out while trying to watch a movie together, but we just turned the tv off and everyone went to bed. It's definitely a great location for any type of retreat or girl's trip. Thanks so much for a great vacation!
The living room features large windows providing views of the natural surroundings. A comfortable seating area with a sectional sofa and coffee table is complemented by a flat-screen TV. Sliding glass doors lead to the outdoor deck, where patio furniture is visible.

Secluded, Fenced Cottage, Hot Tub, Fire Pit, Dog Friendly, Nat’l Park

JohnRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was a lovely cottage and a great getaway from a busy Chicago life. We only spent a couple nights but we brought my dog and we just wanted to chill for a bit. Soaking in the hot tub was a must! The backyard was completely fenced in so my dog could roam and investigate while we enjoyed the hot tub under strings of yard lights, creating a peaceful vibe. Loved it! We cooked a lot (inside) since the weather was cool and windy and the well-stocked kitchen was much appreciated. Great coffee machine (bring your own coffee!) and dishwasher. They came in very handy. Comfortable beds, clean linens, adjustable thermostat with easy instructions, extra blankets and pillows... all you'll need to feel at home. Thank you for a great time and we can't wait to come back. Next time we're bringing our friends!

Dunes Vacation Rental

DaveRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Very nice place right by the Indian Dunes; property is very nice with lots of great landscaping, outdoor furniture and open spaces. Outside had a large 8+ person hot tub, grill, upscale fire pit, nice landscaping/frog ponds, and lots of deck space/lawn space. House itself was very well appointed and clean -- worked great for our group (6 adults, 8 kids). Mark was quick to respond whenever we reached out.

Urban Luxury 1BR/2BA Logan Square Condo w/Garage

TysonRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Bryan was super nice and very thoughtful. He gave us a quick tour of the place when we arrived and answered any questions we had. Check in and check out were both a breeze and the garage parking was very convenient. The space was beautiful, comfortable and quiet. We really felt at home. You can't beat the location either - surrounded by great restaurants and shops, and a short distance from so many other wonderful options. I've saved it to my favorites and can't imagine I'll ever bother with a hotel again when I'm heading to Chicago.

Cozy Home Living, Dogs, Kids, Free Parking, 420 OK

JasmineRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Jamie's place was absolutely adorable—just as pictured and described. The bedrooms were very nice, and the beds were super cozy. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the gadgets you’d need to prepare whatever you'd like, plus a few condiments, which was a nice touch. The bathroom was tidy and well-kept, with fresh, clean towels and linens provided. Jamie was more than welcoming and very accommodating to any requests. Even though she lives below the rental, she was incredibly respectful of our space—warm, friendly, and never intrusive. It truly felt like having my own little apartment. Overall, a wonderful place to stay, and I will definitely be returning.

Downtown Elegance ✨ Private Yard Parking

SachaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We were a party of 8 humans and 2 dogs, staying for the weekend. Our family had plenty of space, and the outdoor patio was a nice bonus. The kitchen was well-equipped with coffee and tea, nice new appliances, lots of dishes and utensils (we did not need a melon baller, but she had one in case we needed it!). We found it really easy to get to the L, and also convenient for walking. It was such a relief to park once and not have to drive at all. The street was nice and quiet (I mean, there were trains, because Chicago ☺️). It felt very safe, so we were comfortable taking the dogs on walks anytime. Alexandra communicated with me really well leading up to our stay, and stayed in touch throughout. We made a lot of memories, and the lovely accommodations were part of that.

Andersonville Living

We loved this cute, Craftman-style apartment. It was so homey and well arranged, nicely furnished, and beautifully decorated that we seriously wanted to move in! The owners were very thoughtful about providing what visitors will need. (They even provided a spare umbrella!) Everything was exactly as described, and communication was friendly and prompt. The only issue we had was trying to find on-street parking. We had to park several blocks away and, sadly, our car was stolen from that parking spot. Otherwise, it was a lovely neighborhood and a convenient location. Despite the parking problems, I would stay there again.

Stylish Corner 2 Bedroom in the Heart of Chicago |

SerenaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This host was extremely responsive and helpful. The place was clean and in a convenient location. There were some negatives, though these things were out of the host’s control so I didn’t lower my rating. I’m including these just so other people know about them before booking. The building smells strongly of marijuana, and the train is very very close and loud. The host does provide earplugs and white noise, which was helpful. While I was there, there was a leaky faucet and the AC was broken. The host offered to fix them immediately, and I appreciated their responsiveness.
