Vacation rentals with lake access in Ottawa County

This was the perfect weekend family getaway for us. Grandparents loved to relax by the lake and the kiddo (5yo) enjoyed the nearby beaches. The house was organized with care and Jill was very responsive. We'd love to come back!

Really enjoyed this house for bachelorette trip. We were close to town and it was a peaceful and clean environment. They did state that some TV services were complimentary though they did not have logins for those services, therefore they were not what I would call “complimentary” as you still need to use your own profile for them. Also was under the impression we’d be a bit closer to the water but it was a 1/2 mile walk. The virtual instructions for the walking path were really helpful! The hot tub was really great and clear instructions for use were provided. The owners are very kind and respond quickly via the chat feature. Would recommend this place for a large party for sure!

We enjoyed our weekend at Segrid's home. The beach was so nice and close for walks and the sound of the waves on our fall retreat was an added, peaceful, bonus!

We really enjoyed our stay at Jessica’s. The bungalow had a beautiful view of the harbor and had everything we needed, not to mention how well everything was labeled. Jessica was extremely responsive and the place was immaculate. I would definitely stay there again.

My family and I (6 adults and 6 kids) had a wonderful stay at the nest! Spacious inside, with plenty of room for the kids to play both inside and outside without bumping into the adults cooking meals. 3 separate living room spaces. Fire table and fire pit were perfect for smores. The playground right outside the back fence made entertaining the big kids easy while letting the littles nap. Close to a beautiful beach with playground. Downtown Grand Haven was perfect for shopping and ice cream. Highly recommend!

This home is absolutely amazing! We were in town for a celebration of life service and it was wonderful to have such a lovely, peaceful place to stay. The space is gorgeous - from the design of the home, to the amenities provided, to the beautiful lakeside setting - it was the perfect place for our family. The home is set up with everything you need, and more! The bedrooms are well appointed with very comfy beds, the bathrooms and walk-in closets are amazing, offering plenty of storage space; the living/dining area is large and comfortable; the kitchen is beautiful (and the hidden butler's pantry is so cool!). We had everything that we needed (and more!) for ourselves and our family who had gathered for the service. Craig is incredibly responsive; he answered all of our questions quickly and we never felt like we were "bothering" him! I cannot say enough good things about Craig and this home. It's truly a gem!

The house was perfect and location was pristine. Waking up with the lake in the backyard was peaceful. Adam and the team were very helpful and understanding. There was an unfortunate power outage but the team handled everything with care. It made for some memorable moments. Thanks again and hope to stay again in the future!

the porch is fabulous. lots of space for everyone. we did not need it, but the secret room was adorable. we would definitely come back again.

It was well equipped if you wanted to cook which we didn’t, but good to know. I was questioning the cleaning fee when they expected the floors to be swept. What am I being charged a cleaning fee if we have to pay if we have to sweep the floors?! Otherwise pleasant

This place is a gem! The host is on top of everything with clear communication and expectations, clean, with a welcoming atmosphere, and in a great location. Definitely worth it to stay here!!

My wife and I stayed in Grand Haven for a weekend. This place was a great deal for the location. Just a few blocks from downtown. We also were very thankful at how clean the place was. We would definitely stay here again!

Clean and well suited to our needs- full of thoughtful touches. Loved the shower water pressure, easy check in, and comfy beds. The only thing we really struggled with was the living room area furniture is pretty stiff and uncomfortable, so if you’re planning on hanging out there or watching a movie every night this may not be the right place. There’s also barely enough seating for 4 people, so we mostly hung out on the beds. Other than that, easy check out and great place for the money.

The Getaway was a perfect place to stay for a business trip with a colleague. That fact that we had separate rooms with our own AC units was great so we could sleep comfortably. The beds were amazing, and everything worked and was clean. The location was nice and peaceful and close enough to everything so we could get to our work site and grab dinner in the evenings. The hosts were ultra fast to respond to any communication and were genuinely nice. This is a fantastic place to stay!

What a great place for a stay! Newly rehabbed with great kitchen, bath and bedding. Also one of the best showers ever! Very convenient location for us, as it is quick to get to Grand Haven, Muskegon and Spring Lake, as well as being very close to the Interstate, so a pretty quick trip to Grand Rapids. We will definitely want to stay here when we come back in a few months.

The location was great and the house was very nice and clean. We would stay there again. Mary was very friendly and responsive.

Great space. Home cabin feel, had everything we needed. The host was great at communicating instructions. I’d rent again. We slept 12 guys without anyone sharing a bed.

The views of Lake Michigan from the cottage and from the various decks were amazing. Watched the sunset every night and had the bonus of watching the moon rise and set as well. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a much needed peaceful and relaxing stay!

Exactly as described. pictures are very accurate. everything you might need is in the cottage. very nice area.

We enjoyed our stay! It felt like home away from home and was a cozy escape from the winter weather. The hot tub is a nice value add also!
