Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Otisco Lake

Location was perfect for getting to Montezuma wildlife refuge. View of the lake was beautiful. House was clean and comfortable. Peaceful setting over looking the lake.

Wonderful hosts, very clear and timely communication. House and location was great for a 3 day weekend trip to Watkins Glen. Would recommend it!

We were a group of five and stayed for two nights. The place was cozy, clean, and absolutely amazing. The lake view was the cherry on top it made the experience even more special. The host was kind and very helpful, which added to the overall comfort of our stay. One small suggestion: the life jackets provided for kayaking were quite dusty and appeared to have been left outside for a while. They were covered in dirt and cobwebs, which made us a bit hesitant to use them. It would be great if they could be stored in a cleaner, more protected space or cleaned regularly so guests can enjoy the kayaking experience without concern. Other than that, everything was perfect! I’d highly recommend this place for groups of 5–6 people. We loved the space and truly enjoyed our stay!

To Cheryl ,Taylor and James. Thank you very much for making our vacation comfortable. Your house was very clean and had all the amenities we needed including the grill. It was quiet and the front porch was great. Also we had a short drive everywhere we went. State Parks and fishing streams. We took the smoke detector from the first bedroom down because the battery was chirping meaning it was low. Just in case you were wondering. 🙂. Thanks again.

Bradley was an amazing host and was great with communicating throughout our stay. We unfortunately were at the house when a storm came through and our electricity went out. Bradley was extremely proactive at finding answers to our questions and did his best to make us comfortable given the circumstances. The house is maybe a 5 minute drive from the main street in Watkins Glen, and is a perfect distance away without feeling too secluded. I would definitely recommend booking with Bradley!

I just wanted to thank you for everything you did for us!! Your home is lovely and I would definitely stay again! We had 3 feet of snow and he plowed everything everyday for us since we worked nights! Beautiful spot you can see the Bay!

I was sad to have tested positive for COVID as we were about to set off, but didn’t want to spoil the trip for our group. But the group really loved the house, it was clean and very spacious, had everything that was needed to feel right at home. The view was spectacular, and it was in a relaxing secluded spot. The beds were so comfortable! Judy and John were very welcoming, nice, readily available, lovely to spend time with. It was the perfect stay for a large group with the cabin also.

Christopher was friendly (introduced himself), helpful with exploration tips and provided many extras (coffee and cream, chocolates and bottled water), to make our stay extremely pleasurable and comfortable!

We went to Watkins Glen to go chase waterfalls. The location was great & easy to find what stood out to me was the attention to detail. Sarah thought of everything. They’re were extra toothbrushes (which came in handy) thank you. You honestly could’ve forgotten you’re toiletries and would be set for the stay. It was clean and well organized. The layout was perfect for a couple. At the end of the day, we felt like we were going home.

It was a perfect place to stay for our mother & daughter weekend exploring Watkins Glenn and surrounding area(waterfalls, hiking, wineries, breweries, lakes).Can easily walk into town to shops, restaurants and WG state park. Apartment is fully stocked with all needed for our stay. It is a super cozy, comfortable & clean. Host is very helpful & responsive. It was a perfect fall getaway. Hope to return in the future.

My parents and I had a great trip to Cortland for my nephew's graduation. The house was very nice and had everything we needed. The hot tub was lovely and the back yard has beautiful gardens. Arnaud was helpful and responsive. We enjoyed staying here.

Ron's place was cute with an amazing location. There are so many nice touches to the house. The host left drinking water, treats, coffee related stuff and even candles. Everything you can think of is in the apartment. He also was a great communicator and always available to help. The bed is super comfy as well. I would recommend this place to all who are visiting the Watkins glen area ( maybe 2 friends or couples) and we will Be back.

Mary’s place was clean, cozy, and inviting, and located in perfect proximity to Cornell for my brother’s graduation. It was our first time traveling with our 17 month and it was the ideal home away from home for all of us! Bring rain boots or shoes you don’t mind getting wet - the lush grass in the backyard gets quite moist with all the rain in the area. Would stay here again!

Full of natural light. Peaceful & private outdoor area with fire pit & hot tub. We had a great one-night stay at Chay's place! Everything was very clean and tidy. Check-in was easy and the location was perfect for all the historical sites we came to visit. Chay was very kind to recommend some restaurants when we inquired. We felt perfectly at home there and knew that if we needed anything Chay would respond quickly. Stayed for Memorial Day weekend with my wife. Nice romantic getaway, close to Watkins Glen State Park and local wineries. Great view of the lake and sunset. Very clean little cabin, exactly as described. Will definitely consider again. Tip- save enough hot water for your partner to shower!

Loved, loved, loved this place! Can't say I've stayed in a log cabin before, but Sarah's place looked and felt quite cozy. There was plenty of room for the five of us, and we had a great time. It had everything we needed, and Sarah was also quick to respond on any questions that we had. The screened-in porch and easy access to the lake were big pluses, and I personally took advantage of them a couple of times. If you're reading this review as a traveler, make sure to book this place if it comes up because you'll love it too.

Great Stay Great Cabin! Everything was clean we felt comfortable there. The hot tub was great after the 2.4 mile walk at Watkins glen. It was too cold for us to kayak but it was nice sitting by the water and chilling. Loved the sound of the water at night.

The place was amazing. We got to spend the weekend just us and the pup. Though it was a wet weekend, the peaceful place more than made up for it. Absolutely amazing for a getaway. Thank you for having us.

Close to the park, secluded, quiet, beautiful little cabin. 30 minutes from all the beautiful falls in the area. Wineries right up the road. Perfect location.

Stephen’s cabin was a perfect getaway! Gorgeous views right in the heart of the Finger Lakes!

We had an amazing stay, it was very peaceful and a cute cabin. Everything was clean and the hosts had a whole binder of local attractions and restaurants that we appreciated. Would highly recommend a stay here!
